Hello..Please what type of bag did you use in travelling? These items seems to be much to not exceed 23kg
Hi Judith I like your video. For the ginger and garlic were they sun dried before packaged?
No. I packed it fresh
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. Please what did you do to the snails? Did you get a lot of excess luggage?
Thanks for watching. I bought fresh snails, washed, boiled and seasoned to taste, the. Fried, and put in ziplock bag, left in freezer till I was to travel.
Took out some things, did not pay for excess luggage. Advisable to weigh your luggage at home too
@@judithekhagbai2543 thanks sis

Lot of names you're saying I don't get it! It would be better if made the list and showed it!
Nice
Thanks for watching 🙏
Your smile is contagious... please i will like to know where u got the big size of zip lock bag in Abuja.
Thank you 🙏. Bought the zip lock bag from Kaura market… you can also get it from Wuse, Utako market
@@judithekhagbai2543 okay.. thanks alot.
Hi.... The garlic and ginger, since it's fresh was it allowed to pass through?
Thank u for this video, I love it. Pls if I'm traveling with my 3 kids, how many luguages will they be entitled to?
Depends on the airline you are using. You will see it on your travel Itinerary. However, for British Airways Economy is 23 kg checked in bag, plus hand luggage, laptop bag/ hand bag. So are your kids entitled too. Three kids would be 23 kg each
Please where can one buy this zep lock bag
Thank you for this video. Please, where you able to go through with the palm oil?
Yes I was. It’s very small quantity. Palm oil are not usually allowed though. Plus, you will get good palm oil from African shops here
@@judithekhagbai2543 thank you very much
Hello Judith how did you dry your okro pls I want to know, planning on bringing that also
Hi Bunmi. I bought dried Okro from the market.
However, if it’s fresh Okro, I think you just need to cut and sun dry for days.
@@judithekhagbai2543 alright thanks
How did you get through with the oil and honey
Hi sis Judeth, please what’s the name of the hair you have on, I really love it, please let me know
It’s passion twist crochets. Please ensure you get good one, you may come across different types
Love the hair!
Thank you 🙏
Were you allowed to carry the red oil ?
If yes which airline did you use please?
Yes.. I travelled with the oil. Pls note It was well packed, to prevent any form of spillage. (I also put it in the freezer, prior to my travel day). And pls don’t forget to take smaller quantity, as I doubt if you will be allowed to travel with large quantity. I used British Airways
@@judithekhagbai2543 Noted!
Thanks for your response.
@@eberejuliet305 you are welcome. Thanks for watching
Hi, please how did you package your palm oil. You said you froze it, but how did you package it please
Bought empty container, so when I poured the oil in it, the cap was sealed, placed in the freezer a day to when I was traveling, and then packed in the ziplock bag. To ensure that there would be no spill. By the time I got here, was even tired to take out the things, but everything was intact.
Omohhh I will definitely do same ohhh
Pls ma ,what's the use of labelling each zip lock bag?
It’s easy for the custom officers to identify what you have in it. Your bags are subject to search, labeling helps them know what you have in it, to avoid unnecessary questions.
Thank you 😊 💓
Having packed the food in ziplock bags, is there any need for wrapping with paper? Or should just celotape.
Did you travel from Lagos or Abuja and which airline did you use? I thought they said palm oil isn’t allowed
Abuja. I traveled with very little quantity, and it was well packed.
@@judithekhagbai2543 ok thanks
Hi thanks fr thee video
If i may ask , can i use one 23kg bag for my foodstuffs alone nd the other for my clothes or do i have to pack them together?
Yeah
Where you able to go in with the oil and what airline allowed it.
Yes I was. Please note, it was in very small quantity, and I freezed it prior to traveling, plus it was well packaged. I used British Airways.
Thanks for watching.
Pls how do you pack your bags for flight? Do you compress all your luggage into one or it must be 23kg into diff places
Depends on the flight you are using. If you are allowed a 23 kg of two traveling boxes . Then pack in two boxes. I advice you go early, so you can always remove things, when your bags weigh more. And you can hand it over to the person who accompanied you to the airport.
Did that help? Thanks for watching.
@@judithekhagbai2543 thanks for the response. I have 23kg in 6 places. I am traveling with my baby and DNT know how I will manage with her and 6 bags excluding the checked bag
@@ifeomamarkson6194 for British Airways, I think a passenger is entitled to 2 check in bags (23 kg each), 1 hand luggage, and 1 laptop bag or hand bag. Ur baby should be entitled to something close, pls check your traveling intenary . What that means is.. whatever you put in ur bag, make sure it doesn’t weigh more than 23 kg each. However, try to be at the airport at least three hours before ur flight so you can weigh ur bags, and check in on time.
Talking from experience.. cos I missed my flight😫. I have a video on that🤓
@@judithekhagbai2543please does it mean you can pack two 23kg in different bags
Quite informative video.
Did you have to pay any fee at the Nigerian immigration for carrying food items???
Thanks for watching.
No. But as usual they will ask you to bless them🤗. All depends if you want to gift them or not
Hope they will not ask me to reduce my food items, I heard they do that
Y was the Semo and Poundo yam nylon and poured inside a ziplock bag pls???
Just personal reasons. I had more than I pack of Semo on the ziplock bag.. rather than traveling with many packs.. create room for other things.
Thanks for watching
Beautiful hair,sis♥️
Can I go with my seeds without blending them, like uda, egusi etc
Oh.. so sorry I missed this. Had my baby at the time u dropped this comment.
Yes you can..
Your hair is lovely.
Thank you Sis… I am blushing 😊
Pls were you allowed to carry the kilishi, learnt any form of meat is restricted
I travelled with kilishi and suya. Although in small quantities. Suya was in my hand luggage (needed something to munch on)🤗
I was even more concerned about my dry fish. Literally travelled with two cartoons of it(shared in ziplock bags). The only thing that was taken from me, was my baby wash, and carrot oil, which was in my hand luggage. It should have been, in my checked in luggage.
Is pap allowed
What roots are those?
Can i travel with perfume?
Great video
Were any of the items seized at the airport?
Thanks for watching. No. I personally took out something’s , when I exceeded my luggage allocated to me. You can weigh your luggage at home too.
@@judithekhagbai2543 pls what's the expected weight for your food stuff and other luggage?
Thank you
@@adebayothompson7514 depends on ur airline. They will tell you what your luggage allowance is
I heard stockfish is cheaper in UK than naija, is it true?
So I won't bother packing stockfish
Ahh.. not true Sis
Wait, no garlic abroad ?
There should be… but I travelled with some.
Is it a must to label the name of the item on the pack?
No Sis. I did that for clarity sake.
pls where did u get the long ziplock
From the market. Just ask for ziplock bag, and tell them you need the big size. If you are in Abuja, you can get from Wuse Market
Thanks for sharing,l thought red oil isn't allowed into the uk
Thank you 🙏. I was able to travel with that quantity though. Depends on the custom officer checking your stuffs. I literally travelled with everything you see on this video.
Can I travel with 2 big boxes and I small Ghana must go
Each airline will tell you on your itinerary, your luggage allowance. For instance, British Airways offers 23kg checked in luggage, another box but less than 23 kg, and hand luggage, which could be ur laptop bag, hand bag.
Basically after booking ur tickets, ur Itinerary will show ur luggage allowance.
Please which size of zip lock isuours
Buy Medium Size. I used medium size mostly, then big size for dry fish I packed.
If I carry extra luggage, am I permitted to pay for it and take it along with me
Yes. But what you will be charged, may be more expensive than what you’re carrying. Reason why people take out somethings at the airport, if it’s weighing more than they are entitled to
Hello, did you encounter any issues carrying the oil?
No. Nothing at all.
@@judithekhagbai2543 was it frozen? Can you believe my husband is from edo and he doesn't know that leave 🤣🤣I have been laughing at him.
Also, did they ask you to declare your food bag at the airport 😩😩
Lol..🤣🤣. Yes I placed the oil in the freezer prior to my traveling. It’s a special palm oil from my place, and I really needed to travel with it.
@@judithekhagbai2543 Alright. Thanks 🥰🥰
Please how would I contact you I need a plastic to package clothe for sell
But they said Oil is not allowed?
Oil is not allowed, cos it can spill and cause damage to ur goods, and maybe that of other passengers as well.
But then, you will notice I travelled with very small quantity (that palm oil is specially made from my place..scent palm oil, and I really wanted it). It was placed in freezer before I travelled and well packed.
Also depends on the airline you are using
Did they reject anything at the airport?
Only my carrot oil, that’s because it was in my hand luggage. Make sure you don’t exceed the number of kg allocated to you.
Hi Judith, please can I carry frozen vegetables instead of drying them? And can the pap be frozen instead of powdered? Please I need your urgent response. I'm travelling shortly
Yes I travelled with pap. Don’t need to be frozen though. Just leave it in the fridge and add it to ur bag, when traveling. . Not sure of frozen vegetable though. However you can buy fresh vegetables a day to when you are traveling, wrap them in newspapers and put in ziplock bag. That way it’s still fresh upon arrival. All the best Sis. If you need to ask more questions I am here for you.
Remember me God
God is Never late.. he is Always on Time. Surely he will grant your heart desires 🙏
Hi,can I travel with frozen cooked food to the UK?

How do I get palm oil over? I learnt it is not allowed
You can always buy palm oil from African shops here. However, if you are traveling, you may travel with very little quantity(ensure it’s well packed, to avoid spillage). This also largely depends on the airline you are using too.

Did you pay extra luggage
No. Took out my clothes for my friend to help me take home. And replaced with foodstuffs. When you book your travel tickets, you will be told what your luggage should weigh, maybe 23kg or 32, depending on the airline or class of flight ✈️
