So Helpful , you can store your blended ogbono and egusi in a airtight container and leave it in the fridge or freezer. You can also leave it in the ziplock bags after use and back to the freezer. Enjoy your new location and apartment ma'am 💃
I have done it so many times and I used it for like a year without it getting damaged..so mix few amount of salt with the egusi but when u get to your destination, make sure u expose it to air afterwards
For your egusi, just add salt, and store in the freezer, and be mindful of the salt when cooking. For Ogbono, just store in the freezer. For the crayfish, blended dry fish, just store in airtight containers and keep in your storage.
Depending on where in the UK you’ll be living, you can get a lot of these things quite easily . However, I appreciate that the things being brought from back home is is mostly to set you up for the first week(s) of being here, before you get a chance to go grocery shopping
Have a peaceful stay in your new home ma🥰. To store the dry ingredients you can pour it in the plastic plates or leave them in the Nylon and they can be in the freezer. For a very long time without getting spoilt. Thanks for sharing 👍👍🙏
Nice video. As for the dried blended egusi and ogbono, you can store them in the freezer, it preserves it for a very long time. It will remain fresh and dried. I so much enjoyed the video.
Thank you for sharing ma. The egusi, ogbono, and grounded pepper, can be stored in a ziplock or a container as preferred and be kept in your kitchen cabinet or the fridge to just keep it cool. My mum @360newmarket does the prepping of most of these food items and we also deliver abroad. Dried ugu, bitter leaf and ogbono, etc
New here 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 nice video. You can store in the freezer. Even your spices. Please, what quantity I learnt that it could be a problem if you are coming with too much food
Welcome Genevieve!💃💃💃 Yeah, thanks! Put them in already. That's a new one for me, I haven't heard that. Just that there are some that you essentially need to get from Home, some you can get here so no need bringing too much of those.
Thank you for these videos and congratulations on your new apartment 💃💃💃 I am particularly excited about that, I understand it's a little difficult to get one. Can you Please let us know how you eventually got this apartment and the price range?
You're most welcome Jacqueline! Thank you so much!!💃💃🥳🥳 Oh yes, I am as well. Oh yes, it is, prices have gone up and it's so competitive at the moment I hear. Alright, I would do that. Not a problem.

Thanks for the video, but it's one allowed to go to the UK with cooking utensils such as pots, blender?
Congratulations on your new apartment 😊. Also, is groundnut allowed?
Thank you very much!🥰
Yes, I think. Didn't bring tho, I bought here.

Thank you, I went to your videos and I have seen it.
Please is it allowed to bring your utensils like pots, blender, with you when traveling to the UK?
You can bring them, but please package well to avoid damage. Tag them as fragile.
Pls can one bring palm oil along? If yes pls how do one pack it? Thanks
Hello Mary, I didn't bring palm oil as they said it's not allowed. You can get palm oil from African shops here.
Put your spices in the freezer , they last 8 months
Noted, thank you.
Good Day …is it advisable to blend your egusi, ogbono
Good day, yes, it is. I blended mine before coming. They're still in the freezer.
Can I take knorr chicken
Hello , please is Chicken Maggi allowed and tgat benny packet spice???
Hello Gloria, I brought them but just do a check on the UK Gov website for current updates.
Ma, I was told dat any chicken seasoning are not allowed
Alright Tobi, that's fine.
Please Ma, how did you dry the ugu?
My Mum-in-law helped with that from the villa, I guess she just dried them in the sun for some days.
Must i blend the eguzi and ogbono?
I don't think it's compulsory. It's a personal choice.
Yam flour too can be taken to UK and fried snails.
Yeah, they can too.👍🏼
Hi, did you have to declare your milk and garri ? The website says milk and milk products are restricted
And your ugwu
Hello, no, I didn't. Not aware of those.

Hello Ma pls, can u tell how many kg each person is given for luggage??
Hi Ofure, it depends on the airline. For Emirates, we had baggage allowance of two 23kg and one 7kg plus hand luggage per person.

Can detergent be brought?
Hello, can't say about that as I didn't bring detergent along but you can check on their website.
Thank you for the video. Did you travel with dry meat, where you allowed?
You're most welcome Caroline.
No, I did not.

Ma, can one bring the egusi (melon) without grinding it?
I believe so. Apologies, saw this comment late.
Ohh, I thought chicken and beef is not allowed
Depends on individuals (I think...) but check the UK Gov website to be sure.🙂 Didn't carry any of those tho.

@@mesasinnu4094 Hi. Remove them and put in a ziplock bag. Tag as seasoning. Or better still buy the big powdered ones from the market, rebag and tag
Do you need prescription to go with the drugs when traveling?
Nah, just keep them well packaged in your main luggage.
I’ll advice you bring prescription cos if you unfortunately meet a strict officer they may trash your meds and you don’t want that. It’s better you have it and later don’t need it than not bring and later need it
