you gotta remember all your hair takes the same amount of time to loc. it doesn't grow out the roots locd. so you're definitely doin fine, the growth is normal. just like your ends have taken 10 months to mature as far as they have, the hair that is now at the roots will mature more as time goes on. keep doin what you're doing (except maybe the hair pullin lol), your locs look great!
i am at 7 months sorta kinda almost loc'd. those first 6 months i opted to have extensions in for length. at this point, our hair is so very similar, its exciting! the length, the size, the count, texture, how they act, how we go about our regimens. so simple and easy! im very glad to have you by my side, so to speak, along this journey. you have no idea. your hair is so damn beautiful and im most definitely vibing with my own hair like nobody's business. like, cant tell me nothin. we're doing great!! this is such a dreamy and surreal, yet the most natural experience i dont think we will ever regret. keep on keepin on and be well, sis.

I know what you mean I'm growing locks as well and I noticed some growth and kinda lost it a little I was so happy, it does take time and creativity working different styles so that you wont get discouraged, I find that if I watch a lot of the youtubers that have videos within the same month as I'm in in growth then I fill a little better especially when I can look back at some of their earlier videos and see their progress like your earlier videos they are so helpful and encouraging to me, its real so as I said before keep up the patients!!!!!

Meryl'sWay its still there...its not as long bc i trimmed it but it is by far the thickest loc i have...n rose water stimulates blood circulation ,moisturizes ,and has anti bacterial properties (so I've read lol) for the scalp

Darkmid9t yes ive had this piercing for yearsss maybe 5...but it healed so beautifully within 6 months i was surprised bc i had an industrial and had to take it out bc it was tender to the touch...piercings are so iffy

OG HealthyLocs im not sure 🤔..if it's damaged then i wouldn't think it's a problem but i know you are absolutely not suppose to cut fuzz balls or frizz off bc that's what will help ur hair loc
