    Just bought the audio book and all this stuff is fascinating and I’m excited to learn from this. I bought it through audible and the book was on sale so I figured I would send the rest I would have spent as a thank you to you. Keep up the great work man!

      start viewing rounds as reps. They're no more than that at any level we're playing other than pro. If levelling up is the problem, increase consistency and floor, and you'll level up etc

      I'll structure it from this book because it's really an amazing tool. I understand if people don't want to read it which is why I think these type of videos are helpful for a lot of people

    This is a great video! The idea of being able to go from conscious competence while training to unconscious (or as I learned it from a core A video) flow state is necessary to reach your true performance but you have to actively train your brain to switch to learning mode as well to be efficient and effective

      I have also read this book, and I believe that his focus is more on the performance anxiety and overthinking aspects of competitive sport rather than learning specifically. His thesis revolves around the unconscious mind being bogged down by the conscious mind, which I believe to be valid too.

    Great video. One thing I wish you talked about is how to deal with those low ends. Last week I felt like I played so well and really improved at the game. Now, the past few days I have been 100% on my low end. What do I do with that? Do I just play until it disappears? I don't even know how to improve the mistakes I make because I make mistakes so dumb that I catch them as I make them.

    • @1bird_d
      @1bird_d  3 месяца назад

      low end mistakes are usually from poor prep or other mental game issues. the book goes into massive detail about this and i will try to summarize the points in a future videos

    I have one question, how should I be reviewing my games? For example should I do it like every 5, 10, or 15 games? Thanks in advance

      i was trying to go pro through college and right after, but i have a full time job now instead. maybe if i find a passion to join a team and grind for a year or two i might, but it looks unlikely at this point

    I tilt so easily. I wish I could play without getting so damn angry. It's part of why I don't play so much lately, I just can't be bothered to get so upset every day lol.
