I am from the SW myself and from my friends who are Native American, they don't really make tourist pottery pieces in the normal sense. They make pottery pieces to sell. The symbol was a kokopeli on the top lid. It looked like it was etched which is a good sign it has some worth.

I liked the creepy vintage bunny too partially because of the textured look of its fur. But then again deranged is the basis of much of my passions, though this may be TMI. LOL.

Every time I've thrifted a brand-name bag, I've just told myself, "I like the design, it's leather, the quality is good. It doesn't really matter to me if it's a dupe." Then I research it when I get home. Turns out I've only bought bought one dupe (a Dooney) and the rest were real, and I learned a lot about how to spot the real deal.

Good friendships are full of give and take. Dagney is clearly a good friend to you and vice versa!
While a collector usually doesn't want pottery with chips, someone who is just looking for cute decorations usually won't mind a minor chip on the underside of something. I collect Spode so it has to be perfect unless incredibly rare or very showy. But I have bought pieces for Christmas decorations that had minor flaws but still looked really good.
The box was by Mitchell Blackhorse a Dineh (Navaho) tribe artisan. A box like it is listed on Worthpoint.
The design is Kocopeli musician God. Native American.
I’m continually impressed with the care that you take of what you don’t buy. It makes me cringe when I see people throwing stuff around and digging like a honey badger. You know the honey badger doesn’t give a crap.

Authentic Louis Vuitton have serial numbers etched into the metal clasps, etc. You can find websites to check the number.

I cleaned out and rearranged one of my cupboards yesterday in order to make space for several vintage and antique vases and bowls I’ve purchased over recent months. Somebody stop me!!!!! That said, I just love seeing flowers and greenery in a genuinely beautiful vase with age and history to it. Still, the line has to be drawn somewhere. 😉 Or does it........?

Love all the bunny stuff in this video. I would have been grabbing it up too. Also, being a Mainer I had to point out that it's not ducks on the mugs but loons. Loons are actually quite popular for decor items, especially in Maine. I had a nesting pair on the pond in the back yard of my old house. I loved listening to them call to one another in the mornings. It's quite a haunting cry.
Also thought the ducks were actually 'Loons' !! Spent all our summers growing up & still do at our northern cottage in Ontario 🇨🇦 falling asleep to the call of the Loons! And lots of hours just watching them swim, dive & teach their young! Amazing birds!!
I have a Brahmin handbag. I worked at Macy’s as the visual manager for years and before that at gottchalks as their visual manager. It definitely has the texture and looks to be authentic. Love it! That is a great find! 😀
Oh and Betsy Johnson, I used to set up all of her displays. I can spot her clothing, jewelry and handbags from a far. Even though she is a little nutty, I absolutely love her and her style!

LV "never" sew the LV in a seam anywhere on the bag. All LVs will be whole. ♡♡♡
Yes they will be up side down on the other side cause they dont cut the leather.
One tell tale sign a louis is a fake is the lining. The authentic louis has a dark red brown canvas. The fake louis have a like suede light tan color.

Hello just to give you a tip!!! On the authentic handbags 👜 look at the stitching it should be more closer together and also touch the inside and check to see if it’s leather or rawhide the upscale designer of quality named bags only use the best materials , and special machines for stitching!! Hope this helps you out
I saw “blackhorse” on the base of that Navaho box. If it was authentic Dwayne Blackhorse is a authentic Navaho carver and pottery artist. If seen his stuff range from $35 to $200

The owl bank looks very much like a clear one given me from the 1970’s. It came with a plastic graduation cap and was full of bubble bath. I filled with pennies so it would look brownish and I’m pretty sure I still have it.
Yeah I had a weird feeling that I owned that owl too. I don't really remember, but my gut said there was something about it.
I also had that owl and filled that with pennies and then it got so heavy I used it as a door stopper but once at a big party in my house, someone stole from my room can you believe it?

I too often remember the deals I left behind more than those I did score! The good news is the mirror can be found at The World Market. Mirrors make me happy, fun juxtaposition amongst art pieces, increases the light in the space and can be still found at reasonable prices.

It really is. I have such purse section envy (and basically overall Goodwill envy!). The ones around me are so NOT even close to this level of fabulousness.
I have not bought a new purse in the four years since l discovered goodwill. They aren’t designer because l don’t base my identity on labels, but l have beautiful hot pink, purple, turquoise etc bags for $5-10. Get lots of comments on them too!

The Brahmin and the Kate Spade are probably real. The Brahmin had the name embossed in the zipper pulls and fakes usually don't do that. And I have the same Kate Spade and mine is real and yours looks exactly like it🙂

I had one of them and it was grey ( and cuter if you can believe it) I don’t know if they were also made in White, but it actually was my first thought .

I just spotted that brand new floral tablerunner with a bunny, at 3.15! That was Isaac Mizrahi, a well known designer, so just guessing, that $2 was a very good price!!!

Those were loons not ducks and some loon mugs sell extremely well. I almost always pick up loon items
