    When i fish for flounder I use the double trout rigs and switch the baits with the pearl white 4 inch gulp swimming mullet. Yellow tails. Good luck

      Thanks for the tip! I've seen other people do those double jig rigs but I've never really tried them myself. I may have to try that in the future!

    Would you mind sharing what setup you use for the Ned rig (rod, reel, and line)? Really enjoy your vids! Keep up the great work!

      For sure, I use a 7 foot diawa laguna ultra light rod, 1000 series kastking valiant eagle reel and 10lb braid to 8 - 12 lb fluoro leader. It's an inexpensive setup but I've landed some big over slot reds on that setup it can handle big fish! And thanks for watching I appreciate the support!

    Are you fishing a regular Zman TRD or a Finesse TRD?

    Just curious why you chose to use the ned rig. Do you get more bites with finesse baits like that?

    • @MakeTimeForFishing
      @MakeTimeForFishing  3 года назад +1

      Bait that time of year is typically small so a ned rig and other small presentations can work very well

    Do you use a different weight depending on depth?

    • @MakeTimeForFishing
      @MakeTimeForFishing  3 года назад

      Yes I do, depth and current. Usually I can get away with 1/8 oz in most depths even very shallow. I use that up to probably 8 feet or so, much deeper than that and I consider going up to 1/4 oz.

    What lure did you use to make the ned rig?

    • @MakeTimeForFishing
      @MakeTimeForFishing  4 года назад

      I used both the TRD in mud minnow and the TRD Ticklerz in The Deal on a 1/8 oz weedless ned jig

    What kind of main line are you using on your new rod and reel?

    • @MakeTimeForFishing
      @MakeTimeForFishing  4 года назад +1

      It's piscifun onyx 10lb braided line. I've got this brand on a few rods now and I'm a big fan especially for the price!
