I do my quiet time in the evening because I can take my time and really dig in. I found that in the mornings I would be rushing to get it done because of work and such. Thank you for sharing.
Yessss for reading the word in 6 months! You've got this! My goal is to read it cover to cover in chronological order in January (31 days) and then I'll do my in depth studies after. I was saying something similar where I wasnt sure if I actually knew scripture but whenever I need it (either for myself or others) I am able to recall and easily find where something is in scripture without Google lol WIN!
This was such a good video! I really enjoyed it! I love your idea of keeping a journal where you list gratitude, intention for the day and prayer - I am going to incorporate that into my daily routine. I wake up very early - either 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. My husband is already up, taking care of our dogs, and he brings me coffee in bed as I sit in bed and read my Bible for an hour. I am working my way through the Bible again this year, Genesis - Revelation. I will be curious to see how long it takes me. I started Dec 9 and have just finished reading 1 Samuel. My goal, when I finish, is to read it again - in a different translation or chronologically.
Thank you so much for watching! 🥰 I love your routine so much! And I’m also so encouraged in Knowing that you’re also reading it through in the same way I am and have made it far! May God bless your time in His word this year!! ❤️
I’m subbing to encourage you and accountability. I’m starting a new Bible study plan for 2025. It’s aggressive, but intentional. 🥰 God bless and see you soon.
Hi Sister, just stumbled across your channel. I’ve hit like and subscribe 😊. I love the idea of brain dumping. Such an excellent suggestion that I’m going to adopt to👏🏾morrow👏🏾😂. I’m reading chronologically for the first time this year 💃🏽. Can’t wait to see what is revealed to His people in 2025. Praying we all grow closer this year. God bless you!
I would love to see what you do digitally. My study time includes the audio version of the passage, then go back to the things that stood out and read them in my digital Bible. As I study, my journaling includes a mind map to collect the nuggets but also compare scripture with scripture. Thanks for this video... I subscribed so I can't wait to see more of your studies. 🥰
Always gives me a lift when I see someone else reading and studying digitally. All my Bibles are e-Bibles on my iPad. All my reference books are e-books. I take notes in a note taking app. I study in a digital Bible I created so I can write notes directly in the digital Bible. Is there a specific reason you prefer digital? For me it is mainly convenience. I used to travel for business so having all my books in an iPad was essential. And now I am old enough my hands are arthritic, so having a nice light iPad rather than a heavy hard copy Bible and reference books helps me tremendously.
@@lkreinmiller-author i'm a digital planner so it just makes sense to have all of my things in one place. I enjoy taking notes in church and as I study on my own, my planner has a mind map section so that helps me when I compare scripture with scripture to really study. The only hardcopy books I really read our ones from my dad's library. Mostly commentaries and Christian books like that. I'm glad you're still staying in the Word and it's nice to encourage one another towards faith and godliness!
@ , I think showing how tech can be used to study the Word becomes more and more important because young people basically live on tech. Directing that toward God is going to be a huge part of the future and drawing young people to salvation.
this video popped up in my suggestions and you definitely gained yourself a new subscriber. I am not a new christian but in 2024 i definitely had an awaking that i was very lukewarm. in 2024 i rededicated my life and am 5 days away from completing the bible in a year reading plan! I believe God allowed me to see your video at just the right time in my 2025 planning. He is truly always right on time. I am attempting to deep dive into one or two books of the bible a month reading meditating and journaling and you shared some great tips that i will definitely be incorporating during my bible time in 2025 🤍🤍
Good afternoon. I really appreciate you for sharing with us. I will be mimicking you on a lot of what you will be doing. I don’t want to make this a hard task to do. I want to enjoy reading the word. So yessss thank you!!!❤❤
You can definitely do it!!! I set that same goal for myself for the last 4 months of this year and it was totally doable IF you are just reading and not studying. What helped me was to listen on the Bible app while reading in my Bible bc highlighting in the app is faster. Then on days when I had extra time I went back to my highlights. Now that I've read it all, next year I will take my time and study all. Reading a little of OT and a little of NT each day helped balance it out and each morning I also read a Psalm to help get through faster. Prepare yourself, it is going to raise sooooo many questions for you LOL.
Being intentional about the time I plan for devotion so I can focus and be open to what God is saying. I also like to read and start my day with devotion and reflection
I start my day off early. Like I am usually up around 2a, and I start my day with prayer, praise and worship. I sing with the Pandora app and praise and worship the Lord. That’s how I set the mood. I just sit quietly and think about all that God has done for me. How I need Him now etc. Then after about an hour I refer to my Holy Bible application and do daily devotions. I do reading plans too. Then after I’m done with that, my girl is on TikTok and I join in for early morning Bible Study. After that I pray and get my butt up so I can conquer my day with the whole armor of God.
I am similar with music and prayer, but I find that I need more time. So, I may have to rise earlier so I don't feel like I'm rushing. 45 mins - 60 mins isn't enough time for me. Truly enjoyed the video.b
@msktweet I can definitely understand that! I’ll probably get back to getting up even earlier but had to be realistic with having 45-60 mins for now with my current schedule. Hopefully, one day I’ve got alll the time I want to make my schedule fully my own hahaha. thank you so much for watching!
Good evening! I really want to read through the whole Bible from the beginning to the end. I agree with you about how the Bible was written, it was God's will the order it was written in. I am going to read the whole Bible. Also, I want to focus on a word or two for the year. I just want to read the Bible like a novel, but put question marks next to scriptures, chapter, etc. I don't understand. This day and age we need God and His Word more than ever. Also, reading His Word out loud repeatedly will strengthen us (a pastor I used to be under told me this when she gave me a verse to focus on, she's gone to be with the Lord).
This was so amazing!!! I have not been able to commit or focus on a routine with reading the Word. This was very helpful for me to really buckle down and have a template to use in 2025!!! Thank you.
Yessss please to part 2 for digital resources found you today sister and omg your soo clear and soo precise I understood u aooo clearly and downloaded your 6 months plan too and will def doing it but I’m Spanish and feel gods word in Spanish so translation it all to Spanish version 😂 interesting 🧐 any how thanks sooo much for making this amazing journey with our father god simple and soo clear to understand it and to follow it. Aww your comment just lit me up 🥰. So glad you’re here!! And I’ll definitely be making a video of the digital resources I’ve used! And will also do a video of me studying, I would love to show you all that!! Praying your time in the Word is fruitful this year! ❤️
The evenings/nights are sometimes better for me as well so I totally understand!! And if you start the early morning routine I’d love to hear how it works for you!
I’ll share them in an upcoming video for sure! But until then, the main tools I use are - BibleHub and Logos Bible Software! - I’ll share more in the video!
What was the name of where you get your prayer journal? I really like your idea of doing a brain dump prayer before starting to study. I wake up most mornings so full of anxiety and fear so a big focus for me in 2025 is learning to cast my worries onto the Lord.
Hello I'm new to your page. Will be reading through your plan with us or just giving us updates? I'm going to try the 6 months plan, I'm nearly to the end of my current 365 daily plan. 🙏🏾
Definitely! I’ve got a good chunk of videos on the channel already where I talk about that indirectly and I’ll be speaking about that in the weekly videos while I’m reading through the Bible next year!
Hi, I didn’t catch the name you mentioned you listen to on Spotify. Could you please repeat that information? I tried googling but don’t think I have the correct last name I thought I heard.
Totally understand this POV. This is just what I’m planning to do and hopefully inspires you to dig into your word this year in an intentional way too! Just do what works for you! 😉
I do my quiet time in the evening because I can take my time and really dig in. I found that in the mornings I would be rushing to get it done because of work and such. Thank you for sharing.
Totally understand that! I definitely have weeks and seasons where the evening is better for me as well! Thank you for watching! ❤️
I believe the evening will work out better for me too.

Hi there!! Welcome! And at this point I’ll just be giving weekly updates about how my reading went; what I learned, and how I’m applying it!
Can you make a video on how you apply God's word to your life?
