I love the baskets idea. I have my ESV Journaling Bible, Strong’s Commentary, a couple of devotions, books of the Bible cliff notes that i need to tip/tape-in, highlighters, pens, transparent sticky notes. I use the sharpie fine trip marker on the sticky notes because it dries fast and doesn’t smear! I also have a Bible Altas.

No, I have a window seat and I have most of my study materials in the book shelves on both sides of the window seat. I love this space for my dedicated study space!

Good morning! I don't have a Bible study basket, but I am purchasing a Bible study bag soon. I have my KJV study Bible, I Surrender All by Priscilla Shirer, those slim post-it and that's all I have for now. I am building my Bible study basket (or bag). I will be purchasing the AMP study bible, AMP/KJV parallel Bible, Bible Recap study guide (?). Right now, I am collecting Charles Stanley's books (little at a time and based on the subject) and I love Stomie Omartian's books (Her praying series).

I have a cart. There is a bible, the Bible in A Year by Kandi Gallaty (which does not help you read the whole bible in a year), Tony Evan’s Bible Commentary, Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas, Prayers that Work by Kevin LA Ewing, and the Battle Plan for Prayer.

Thanks for sharing! You gave me so many book recommendations. I don’t have a basket, but I typically have my ESV study Bible, journal, devotional, and a faith-based book (The Epic of Eden is my current read). I tried the transparent sticky notes and didn’t like that ink smudges easily.

I just followed you this morning. I love your energy. I'm South african. I grew up reading the bible in my native language, and you could tell our translation comes directly from KJV. Word for word. And that doesn't work, especially for poetry books. I promise you, you will not understand Job in my translation. I've come to appreciate ESV and NIV. Keep up the good work. Thank you for sharing, very interesting! Joseph's story is one of my favorites in the Bible. To see how God continually used the evil against him for good blesses me greatly. It also helps me have perspective, I will most likely never endure a fraction of what he went through, yet God loves me and works my bad for his good just like he did with Joseph! That amazes me every time I read it.

2024 was the first time in my thirty something years of life that I read the Bible the whole way through. Sometimes I had to play catchup and do the audio version (btw , listening to the audio version of revelations is 🔥) . I think what did it this year is : of course my heart and desire , but also , I taped in a check off list of a daily reading plan into my Bible . We love a checklist . And it is more “in your face “ to hold you accountable if you have an incomplete checklist in God’s word😂

Yasss homebuying goal! Not sure if you heard of a high yield savings account, but I recommend using that to save for your down payment. It essentially allows you to earn interest just for saving. You prob already have one but that helped me a ton. I also moved back home to pay off debt and save so you are def on the right track. Praying for you girlie! 💰🫶🏾

This was such a good video and made me reflect on my 2024. Each quarter certainly served a purpose but my word was “alignment”. And God did just that. It was roughhhh from time to time. But necessary. So happy that you are in a good place as well as welcome 2025. I’m feeling it too ❤🫶🏾

Returned to the faith after 20 years. Got the NIV life application study bible on black Friday and it arrived yesterday. Super excited to get a better understanding of scripture with the study notes and easy to read translation. I definitely noticed I'm less stressed and much happier after giving religion another chance

All my Bibles and reference books are e-books on my iPad. I use e-Sword, which has many Bible translations, Strongs, commentaries, dictionaries, etc. I have assembled a digital Bible that I can write on and mark however I want. I can add pages, pictures, quotes, stickers - whatever I want. I have a lot of others resource apps including Logos, BibleHub, Bible Project, Enduring Word, step Bible, etc. but my main app resource is e-Sword.

Why are we always amazed when God speaks to us through others? Our women’s Bible study is studying Mary and Martha this year. Last week I watched a video where the creator talked about being a Mary and being a Martha. Today - you are talking about it. I think God is speaking to all the overly busy women of the world. God is so cool!
