twigs:the wolf lairs and general animal lairs are covered with twigs you can harvest those with a pick...havent tried axe might be worth it. Fur: the fat weird enemys on the south east of the map with horrible slow animations you can side step, or just wait until there attack animation starts and backstep have alot of fur in there camps. Flint: there are a couple of spots literaly next to the starting camp location. Flax: One of the easier stuff to cultivate aka farming at ur base location, fast growth and not much ressources needed. Shroud core: Combine shroud spores and shroud liquid at the alchemist to get those, but the "ghosts" farm seems good too. Nice guide, havent started farming copper yet helps me out.
I love that there's no encumbrance feature. I always hated that in survival games. Especially when building, its just an annoyance. Loving this game so far❤
Something I don't ever see mentioned in these videos anywhere, but that I think is super important for new players to understand is this: Get copper as soon as you can and the very first copper you smelt, use it for a copper pick axe. The difference in mining with the starter pickaxe vs the copper one, especially once you start mining copper, is HUGE.
11:42 After the hallowed halls update you can make the small magical chests from a workbench without need of the carpenter. The small ones also don’t need cores, just shroud spores. That change makes early game crafting even smoother than before.
Willow Crush is also great for collecting the damage Elixirs, and bombs. Both items you can't make and are very useful through the game. I collect enough Elixir to always have the buff active. (NB: It also has a mini-quest for a nice ring)
For copper farming at the area that you find the Kiln for the smelter there is a copper node next to a repair device. You can farm as much copper as you like without worrying for durability or night time.
theres a deposit of flintstone near the wolves den in your starting area to, not as compact as the one you mentioned but theres a good amount of it there! also the vases etc in the big towers is a good spot to farm potions water and metal sheets. clered one tower and had close to 6 or so metal sheets possibly more.
the meium backpack how did you get do you just keep making the dried fur to unlock it also is the hunter gear best i notice you wearing it mostly and wear did you get the metal helm you was wearing at start getting the honey

There's a spot where it looks like a cave entrance, between Flame Shrine and Saline Quarry (check it from map genie) is a great spot to farm twigs, I got like 100+ just from 1 small spot.
Best place to get Shroud Liquid is actually the small, round, mushrooms that can be harvested, they grow in huge patches. If you jump off the cliff due south of the starting zone, you'll find them in abundance.
I wasnt really excited for this game because i dont care much for games like valheim but the tab targetting makes it feel like an mmo so i have stuck with it and fallen in love. I have to wait until tomorrow for my friend in coop so think ill make a new game since i cant stop thinking about it. Greaf tips!!
Glitch with the terrain building feature. You can duplicate any material that is used as terrain. Build a ramp or something out of the terrain list, then break it down with your pick axe. You will gain more back than it cost to make it. Usually 2-3x more. Not a huge thing, but quite helpful if you don't want to run out and look for more sandstone at your base.

this game is so great but the combat is pretty boring, one button for attacking is lame, really hope they can add some depth soon, this game has a lot of potential
So you can actually make Shroud Cores with the Alchemist. The only other thing I would point out is the word "BASICALLY", its the "Like" for people trying to sound expert. Count how many times you use the word basically.
I was a little disappointed to figure out I can't explore the whole map. As a buyer, I expected that. It's fine I didn't refund like a weirdo but that was something I was completely unaware of. I've been enjoying the game alot. Just wish there were more bosses scattered and maybe world bosses. More Endgame stuff is what I like in my games

Content producers are ruining video games! Before these type of videos people used to have to figure shit out on their own, now everyone wants the best everything to be spoon fed to them! Genuinely tired of seeing guides like this for every single game in the market. It's why gaming is as sweaty as it is.
You know you don't have to watch the video right? Like, I agree with you for more competitive games, but this is a coop survival game. You can literally just not watch the video and go into the game blind.

This is such a nonsense rant it hasn’t ruined anything. As a kid I grew up mastering the final fantasy series (1-9) playing games like chrono trigger and breath of fire. Now I’m 32 years old in 4 days I got 3 kids and a 60/hr a week job (at it right now). I don’t have time learning every secret or every mechanic so these videos are a blessing that helps me who plays at most 20 hours a week with siblings. But even when I gamed more I appreciated these guides because they save me time in general. I feel like you use these guides after you realize you’ve wasted hours walking right past something you were searching for. Also this guy who made this guide took the pain stacking time to find what majority of people hate doing which is grinding super long hours for a minuscule details. Honestly why did you even waste the time to come on to this videos comment section to even cry about it? People enjoy the guides and it has done zero things to negatively impact gaming.

There is a little cave where you can dig out treeroots to get hundrets of twigs

Twigs: Wolf and Pig Dens are made of twigs. Each swing of the pickaxe will get you some, and you can gather a hell of a lot of them all at once.

TWIG FARM - use your pick axe on any of those animal nests that look like bramble patch type of texture. way more consistent farm of tons of twigs
Also, fur is found all over on way to farmer location
its is possible to mine twigs in den , insane amount prepare 3 or more pickaxe , over 200 / den
You can craft the shroud cores at the alchemist from simple materials. Easier then fighting mobs 3 at a time.
My main request right now is a guide to which skilled tree do you recommend
think skyrim here, combat how you want, armor and hp up is helpful though

if you want to farm twigs, use your pickaxe in a wolf's den. All the rooted looking stuff drops twigs. I got over 150 in about 5 mins

This game needs storage labels. After so many boxes it's annoying forgetting where you put something.
I agree, you'll want to place boxes near each NPC/Craftsman to help with the organization for now ^^
