For Amber i found the Shroud Root North east of the mark of Sameth is the best i've come across they are noded up in giant balls in the cave so all u get is amber no stone
For Amber, another great spot is Grind Teeth Grotto. It's a gorgeous cave along the western part of the map with a Shroud Root in the back. The only enemies are a couple nests of bugs. There are 2 Amber nodes on the right side of the cave as you walk up to the Root, chop down the Root to clear the Shroud. Then there's an Amber node on the wall behind the Root you just cut down and a 4th node to the left of the Golden Chest containing the Riptide Shield on the south side of the cave. There's also clay scattered about. You'll need a tier 3 flame to survive the Shroud. Coincidentally, if you are patient, above the Grotto there are a series of cliffs. Below the snow line is a huge cliff that's a prime spot with a gorgeous view to make a base. That's where I've settled. There's a copper node and 6 Chamomile plants scattered around the area as well. Like I said, you'll need patience and a pick axe to reach the summit but it really is a great spot for a base. You can get to this cliff without a tier 3 flame so you can settle there early and then hit the grotto below when you upgrade your flame.
I've just gone balls deep into this game over the weekend and it's blowing me away. These guides are just fantastic. They're giving me everything I need to get going and yet they're not giving anything away, well done and thank you. Looking forward to the journey ahead with you :)
Great guide. I'm only been playing for a couple of weeks now. With flint, I've actually found that what appears to be a very small deposit on the little hill to the north west of you starter base actually opens up to give you access to quite a bit of flint, and being so close to home is ideal, especially early game. Also Amber is at the very base of the Revelwood Spire, just inside the shroud. Tin and copper can be found close together a little later to the north west of the Nomad Highlands spire. The tin is behind an unguarded Shroud root. You can set up a flame alter with it's border just outside the shroud root cave and the small copper mine/pit which is too the left. There are no enemies here, so it is extremely safe, even when you just arrive at the spire at a not particularly high level.
Between Hidden Hunting Grounds and Thornhold (near the Cave Passage) is a small mine staircase down into the ground, with lots of Clay. Under the clay.... is Amber.
There is a full on amber cave in the shroud near one of the shrooms. I just got to it trying to clear them out to get skillpoints, it's somewhere in the 2nd (forest) zone, might go and check to give the exact location later if you are curious. It has legit Amber nodes that are huge and there were so much my pickaxe broke before I could mine one of them, and there were like 4+. And after you chop the shroud shroom down you have a safe spot to recover every ~5 minutes of mining.
I found one in the far northwest corner of the map, west of the Revelwood Spire. As you said, in a cave with a Shroud tree you have to cut down. There were two or three nodes. Take a light, it is dark.

Twigs - Right near the "starting" position where they want you to build your first base is a Wolf Den just past that tiny patch of shrouded area. It was my source of twigs (and therefore endless supply of wooden arrows) early on.
Near that amber node you showed in the video, you will find amber all over that shroud biome.Look for the small square patches of amber on the ground, in pits and around the bases of those rocky outcrops. I have found some of the largest deposits undergrond in that region, especially under that node you showed.
For Flintstone there is a good sized portion right at the starter base location. There are like three really big rock style formation it is on the cliff above the shroud, you will likely have to dig down to it or if your close enough you could setup a sort of path to go around and down to it.
I found a really great spot for amber. Northwest of Revelwood Spire, there's a Flame Shrine (shrine is directly north of Mark of Samath). If you go to that shrine and go directly south, you'll come to wall covered in Amber. It's halfway between the shrine and cave entrance. I got 100 of it in
From that flame shrine; go directly west, you'll find a cave, inside and to the left is a path that curls up and right (take care of the lethal gaps in the floor). It'll lead you to a shroud root and several large veins of amber.. Take a few pickaxes with you.
I stumbled upon amber sw of revelwood spire at the Grind Teeth Grotto, also has a shroud root right in front of it and it was a nice big vein. Also a massive vein at Trade Post "Old Rye"also near Revelwood spire
Just below the Revelwood spire in a south easterly direction there is a masonry bridge guarded by 4 guys and a dog. Between this bridge and the Revelwood spire there is an small amber mine. Wooden fence with steps leading down into the amber. Fast travel to Revelwood, glide down and land next to mine, scoot down stairs and mine 10-12 lumps of amber and fast travel back to your home base. This can be done each time the game is opened, all the amber you will ever need, vein of amber goes under the stairs which can be hacked away if you wish.
Nope I did not do that long trip yet. I got something from alchemist (Mortal I think) from a quest, now I wonder if I do more quests if I am lucky if that will lead me to the crucible so I don't have to craft the first one :)
This ridiculous game is addicting. I really think the building engine is the best part! I really like how the building over lays work, and you’re able to just cut stuff out.
Amber... I actually get all the amber I could ever possibly need inside the cave where you showed on another video where to "farm" legendary chests. It's the one where there are 2 Leg chests and a Silver chest. There's a huge clump of Amber that you actually have to jump ON to get to one of the legendary chests, right next to the Shroud Root. It's so easy to get to (if you place a flame altar on the cliff just above and to the right of a cave ledge where the silver chest is located. I farmed that cave for a ridiculous amount of both legendaries (level 13-15) and copious amounts of Amber.
I found amber on my own. Without guides, I had my eyes peel for it for a while... Then eventually found a huge mine location that doesn't really appear on your map weirdly enough.
For the Amber, there's an easier spot... There's a Shroud root north of Sameth that has a metric ton of the stuff... and it's not in the shroud if you down the root
+1 had trubles finding amber. But i am just lev14 and dont have much time to play. 😞 still need it for upgrade the flame and for some spells thx for shareing! and i hope you have much fun in this game
Super usefull guide thanks a lot for this work so we all have more time to explore and kill monsters instead of searching for that damn amber spot ! fossilized bones are missing though or maybe it needs to be craft someway and i missed it so far
for the copper no need to put a bench there is the place where you find the crucible that has a anvil there and you can just simply block the area off with a door or something
You know, instead of using the actual luminous blocks, use the terrain blocks with it, it'll have the little spores growing out of it, that's what I do and it looks amazing bro
For Amber, you can go straight to the east of Revelwood spire, drop off the edge and glide straight down... then walk south just a few meter and it will be along the wall. your pick axe will break before you run out of amber to mine.
There is a copper node next to this farm where you can place ur base there and get copper and tomato and something else i forgot i stubbled apon it randomly
I was randomly mining mycelium in the shroud and got 1 piece of amber but nothing else came out of it lol I was soo frustrated because i couldn't find it anywhere else.
I was hoping for the location of the mining ring if there is one. I already found my two copies of the lumber jack ring, increasing my chopping damage by 20%. Anybody knows if there is a mining version of that ring?
There is at lest one more amber hot spot that is not in the shroud, but I forgot where it was, because i forget to mark it.. it was a random spot that i stumbled across
Ya I have s negative reviews up thats gotten no traction. Anyone that joined has no way to talk and everything belongs to each person. Horrible le setup
I kept walking past clay nodes looking for clay because I thought they were copper nodes. But at least all rss have chunky looks, Amber seems to blend into the ground. Too many brown rss in this game.
They should allow us to have 4 skill builds we can swap between instead of having to reset back and forth cause main builds u don't want to pick up mining
I already know this game is gonna last much longer than palworld. Palworld seems like kind of a meme game , streamers are really only Playing it for flavor of the month content (like among us) while I can tell enshrouded is gonna be a game that people will play for a long time . But tbh that’s only gonna be the case if they make more worlds , or give the option to randomly generate a world like other survival crafting games
Palworld is probably better to pick up after some more development time. The pathing AI on the Pals is pretty bad and they get stuck very often while working tasks in your base. This causes them to starve and become "depressed" overnight, which requires very expensive resources to cure.
Def a good game and super fun but maaaaan the reward for exploration just isnt as good as palworlds. Palworld is in a worse state then enshrouded but the thought of finding new pokemon is such a rewarding reason to explore the world. The gameplay just ends up being grind to build pall spheres then go catch the pokemon. That's it. Enshrouded is a way deeper game and feels like there's more stuff to do but capturing pokemon & finding new pokemon just keeps you wanting to play more and more and more. Also the glider in enshrouded is underwhelming. I hope you get a better one later cause rn you fall so fast while gliding you cant even have any fun with it lol

Just a tiny bit lower than Glennwood and to the left (west), and north + a tiny bit left (west) from the Sameth castle. There's a metric ton of amber.

I found amber mine west of Glenwood. 4 or five large nodes some are not even shrouded.
There is a ton of flint east of our starting base it takes 30 sec to reach

Does the warriors dmg types skills affect the tools? Like, if I get the 2 pierce skills, will the pickaxe do 30% more?

As a archer with the copper arrows being my next upgrade. I do wonder where do I get sand for the kilmn?
East of the world is mountains and desert ^^
There you will also find 'big bones' which will help you to craft better arrows :)

I also wasn't a fan of Palworld. Enshrouded has such a better crafting and combat system

I absolutely love both games but out of the two enshrouded is more polished despite the occasional enemy stuck in the ground
