the normal thumbnail style uses the modern flags for the border, but the neo-assyrian and neo-babylonian empires have no modern counterparts, so i winged it for this
my man can I ask where did you get your sources on those borders I don't mean it in any disrespectful way. It's just the detail in those borders is insane and I want to how you got to that detail.
@@a.d.t.mapping I wouldn't call it a threat to the empire but it was definitely a rival considering Assyria decided to focus all their resources on them which led to powers like Egypt becoming stronger
Eh, you still went with labelling the South Canaanite states as "Israelite". I would have assumed something like Terahan states/tribes would be better or just, Canaanite states as the while area was still known as Canaan.
ain't no way bro started from -911 💀
Amazing video 🙂You made a ton of work, thank you for your video.

Phenomenally made video, great stuff!
Incredible detail on one of the most interesting periods in history! Can you make one for Sassanid Persia too?
thats a bit outside of my wheelhouse, but ill file it for "future projects to do when im bored"

the main ones are cambridge ancient history and the royal inscriptions of mesopotamia. theres a few odd ones i looked into that i dont remember tho
amazing video, good job
So beautiful.😭😭😭
Decent video but i disagree with elam being listed as a minor adversary and not a major one
bronze age elam was menace
iron age elam was an occasional annoyance
thats my thought process with that

Love this!
I know it'll be an undertaking but perhaps maybe Egypt someday?
yknow egypt has enough info that you can map it month by month after 1300ish BCE. its something that i probably wont do alone tho
I like the basil bourtch mention the end with him helping you through him making an inaccurate video giving you motivation
i forgot to remove that in the final vid, guess thats a development gag now
I thought that Derbent was Sasanian territory, and not Achaemenid. Phenomenal job!
The detail here is mind boggling
fire music too 🔥

Arpad

Truly, we live in the bad end. In the Good end, Assyria formed "Persia".
