I haven't even seen the video and I already know it's going to be really good, please keep having in mind those of us who work outside, 🙏
Thank you! Will do!
It's a good one!!
Nick and Sylvia would make a great detailing duo. Lots of spraying and lots of product
It would be dangerous for the camera crew
I love Sylvie. Such a great sense of humor. Hope to see more of her in the future in a speaking role.
Thank you.
Happy to see Sylvie in front of the camera! I’m sure she has many great things to teach as well
Definitely!
Nice to hear Sylvie! Pleasant surprise.
I know she already knows the answers to the questions she asked, but it was nice of her to ask on our behalf.😁
When you get to Sylvie’s level, you can reverse foam the tires.🤣🤣🤣
Indeed!
I love how you cover different scenarios for washing and polishing.
This is one ☝️ of my favorite videos so far! I love to hear Sylvia’s voice! You both work so well together! It’s like you are dancing together ☝️😂🥰
Thank you so much!!
Love Sylvie and her accent when speaking English! ❤️ lol 😂
Thank you.
Isnt her original language right?@@diydetailofficial
@@omarstephenson8967 They both are French Canadians and French is their first language.
@@billytakoho5046 both? Yvan sounds straight up English speaker hehe..
English is a second language for both of us. French is our first language.
I got a new car 10 days ago (VW Tiguan).
I've bought All Clean, Rinseless Wash and Ceramic Gloss on the EU site.
Unfortunately, some products (like the sponge are "out of stock").
The weather was pretty bad, so I didnt manage to use Ceramic Gloss on the new paint.
But today, I wash the car.
I first removed some birds poo with All Clean: a spray - wait 2 minutes - dab with a microfiber towel). Then some tree sap, the same way. Easy!
Some area were filthy ; mostly the hatchback and the lower part of the doors.
I used a pressure washer on these part to remove most of the dirt.
Then I sprayed Rinseless Wash (with a IK Multi Pro 2), then with a sponge (not yours as I said, but one with the same features), and I applied Ceramic Gloss with microfiber towels while drying the car.
Nice result! Quick and easy!
Many thanks for all the tutorials.
Thank you Sylvie for showing your expertise and speaking for the camera, very inspiring and informative!
You are so welcome!
We have been asking for it, and now DIY has delivered
Thank you.
Absolute great vidéo for the people who live in town and don't have access to water and have neither garage / yard nor a place in shadow 👍😉.
Thank you.
How fitting that just yesterday I did my first ever rinseless wash, outside and in direct sunlight. I was working alone though and used Yvan's advice to go one panel at a time. I've decontaminated today and about half the truck is now polished (I'm taking a break) and I'm thrilled with the results I'm getting. A lot of thanks to Yvan and Nick (and Apex Detail) videos!
Great job!
Wooh... reverse foam footage😮
Easter egg moment
Thank you Yvan for show-us the steps in such a fun fashion! Great way not to over think things . This is how washing a car should be! Thanks again on showing us your products how they should be used😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
I loved seeing and hearing Sylvie in the video. Sounds like she was doing the same questioning style as Nick and she knocked it out of the park!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Très bien Sylvie! Very nice co-hosting. Also, thank you very much DIY for doing an outdoor cleaning.
Thank you too!
Thanks that for me a very good experience!!!
I have to say you always hit the nail on the head with all your videos on topics I’m curious about! Plus I appreciate everything you do Ivan as it makes my detailing company more efficient and proficient and more profitable like a business should be! Can’t forget about Nick! Coming in clutch with the questions we have in our minds to ask and reiterate just so we can understand! Thanks for all you guys do, and I guarantee we will meet one day once my business has grown! See Ya When I See Ya!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great to see Slyvie in action. Hope we get a wash with all the gang and see everyone chatting sometime. Nice video, guys!
Thank you.
I love to watch and listen to Sylvie!

J'adore Sylvie qui essaye fort de trouvé le bon vocabulaire pour s'exprimer en anglais a Yvan.
Super vidéo j'ai beaucoup aimé. Hate de voir la suite ❤

Thanks for another Fantastic video! Ivan and Sylvia! My beautiful 2008 Mercedes E 550. Parks under a tree. I pre rince with my marolex foamer. Then rince off with my marolex sprayer. Then clean with the Sponge. Then check it for pesty tree sap. A quick iron remover clay towel. Then use a water spot remover and tree sap remover. It does dry sometimes. But ive never had a problem with Diy detail products. I put about 3 oz for foam. And a half oz for all the Rinceless pray and bucket. I have been using spay sealants. I use my rinceless and panel prep in a moist damp Pearl weave to wipe before I polish. It really comes out great. Im about to do my first coating on my own car. Ive done other cars with a coating, usually early in the morning. Unless the tree drops a bunch stuff. Then I use foam Rinceless and clay towel. Your product are very friendly and forgiving. Great video! Thank you! 😉
Thank you.
Jeez...... I had to go take a Shower just watching you guy's Buzzing around the Car, Having 2 people is definitely a + working in any sun. That was a pretty good learning situation in the Sun. This Color should Glitter In the Sun with a Coating on it.
Thank you.
Love your products and the salsa muisic.
Thank you.
Great job!!! Now try it without access to a water hose. I have to do everything at the self-serve and with minimal time and items.
One bucket, pump hand sprayer. Yes, I've watched self-serve tutorials, it's just a real dilemma.
Good idea
@@diydetailofficial, and I have to everything outside other than the wash. Yes, it's a terrible situation. Definitely not in the market for a ceramic coating.
I do most of my details with
Foam pro 12 to foam up rinseless wash.
Detail keg I made with water to rinse foam off
Bucket with sealed lid
Wash every panel individually
Decon each panel individually
Takes roughly 20-30 minutes
I use deionized water from home in my sprayers.
This vid is so sweet:)
Love to see a husband and wife team doing what they love:)
Also Yvan, Nick, your distributors are awsome:)
Thanks so much! Agreed we have some great people.

Great video Sylvie and Yvan! I'm already looking forward to the next one on polishing. What would be your advice on working in a light to moderate breeze? Should it be avoided if at all possible? Or be quick and work one section at a time?
One at a time, we had about a 5mph breeze
I recently added your green flag-tipped brush to my arsenal. It is so soft I use it on the bodywork. It works!
Perfect
Going to be great series! Everyone talks about how difficult to film outside. Thanks for the hard work! Annnd what happens if i put rinseless wash diluted to 1/256 with distilled water into washer fluid tank? I kind of want to experiment it but not sure
The rest of the series is in the shop. Just use regular washer fluid
Ready

Great video, nice to see husband and wife working together, my wife and I wash our car together and love doing it. What pump sprayer do you use for the rinseless wash?
Thanks, it’s a keg www.thedetailguy.biz/shop
Another great vid! Does IPA spray harm the vehicle’s spray?
IPA should not be used on a car.
@@diydetailofficial thanks for answering! I was about to use it on my brand new car prior to waxing it!

I also sometimes break out the Krouse and becker airless paint sprayer and use your Rinceless for a nice deep cleaning 😉!
Great idea!!

Thank you.
Hey Yvan had a question I remember u said it somewhere in one of your video. But wanted to know what’s going to be new you added to V2. Will it still foam and have great cleaning surfactants in it. Thanks 🙏
Same as V1, only better
another good video, many thanks. I have a question that is bugging me for some time, and i have the feeling you will be able to answer it. (Q) I live in a flat and my car is parked 100 - 200 yards away and i do a rindless wash by using a spray trigger first to pre treat it and then using your legacy sponge to do the wheels and car. is there a more effective way than carrying a bucket of water and use something like an IK Pro 12 instead ? I'm looking for a more efficient way to wash my vehicle. many Thanks keep up the good work
Unfortunately the bucket is still needed
@@diydetailofficial Hi yes thanks, i do realise it is still needed, just wondered if i should add anything really or change my method ?
Your fine
Is the water spot remover for the iron remover stains. If it does stain.
And I'm impressed that all clean gets browning off the tires. Guess I'm getting that. It sucks using 2 products for wheels and tires
DIY Detail Iron Remover shouldn’t stain anything. DIY Detail Water Spot Remover is to remove mineral contamination.
Wheel and tire cleaners are essentially APC’s with a different label.
Yvan thank you for the Salsa🤗🤗🤗🤗 music👌👀
Thank you.
Trigger happie Sylvie 😂😂
Lol
Off topic to this video, but how is the RUPES LK900E Mille polisher with C6 APP? Its a 5.5mm orbit, but they have more orbits per rotation than the Flex 3401.
I had an opportunity to pick up a used one for a very low price, so I jumped on it.
That’s fine
I received my Water Spot Remover and tried it today after washing and decontaminating my car in preparation for a C6 Hydro Lite coating. After using the Water Spot Remover I noticed the paint felt velvety-soft after rinsing and while drying, almost like a drying aid. I was amazed at how shiny and smooth the car was and, yes, I did see increased water beading as well. I've never heard you mention this outcome from using Water Spot Remover. Is this normal?
It’s normal that it removes minerals from the surface. These minerals do all sorts of negative things to your paint.
Regarding water hardness - what's your opinion on softened water? We don't have a DI system, but a standard softener which works with resin and salt.
It helps
Your partner is awesome! We need more Sylvia in your vids.
More to come!
Bravo à toi Sylvie pour vôtre effort en Anglais 🥵👏
Merci à vous 😊
Merci❤
Question? Iam getting a keg sprayer for my shop. Was wonder should I have rinseless wash in the keg sprayer and all clean in my ik former pro. But this one seems like the best choice. What do you think?
It’s how we do it
@@diydetailofficial perfect. Ty
Love when she said, every thing gone 😂😂😂
Thank you.
Was this car already ceramic coated? Is it ok to do iron remover + Devon towel to ceramic coated car? Just did my coating last week. Thanks!
This is dealer fresh. Yes you can use DIY Detail Iron Remover on a coated car
I’m in Arizona bout 115 with low humidity, any advise on doing this process outside in these conditions?
Same process
Yes sir I was wondering where do you get your RED nitrile gloves? Do you have a LINK to where I can purchase some???
Amazon
Does hydro lite provide more gloss than the 5/3 stack?
About the same
So DIY iron remover is safe in sunlight. That is AMAZING. However, water spot remover is also as long as it doesn't dry correct?
Correct
It’s no bueno when it’s so hot & humid that your body is dripping more than your sponge
True
It's how I detailed a construction worker's van yesterday, wipe the plastics and wipe myself 😵💫
What is your recommendation for treating a tire, but not having a glossy finish on it?
More so a new OEM look to a used tire?
DIY Detail Tire Dressing , wipe it with a towel before it dries
how to rinseless wash (then breaks out a pressure washer to rinse) LOL.
seriously though. as soon as i am finished Mckee's bottle of rinseless wash i am switching over to DIY. to many good reviews about DIY to not try. Love Ivans video on only using DIY rinseless wash to clean the interior. gets hot here in Texas (100 degrees for the next 7-14 days) so i want o be in and out in under 20 min. i didn't know you could use iron remover with a rinseless wash. will start doing that from now on. great video
Thank you.
The iron remover won't stain the paint if it dries in the sun during application onto the entire vehicle?
Not ours
Is this the replacement for the Veloster (RIP)?
No, the Jeep lurking in the background is the Veloster replacement
When will the 16 oz iron remover be back in stock?
Next week
Is it your product specific that iron remover is ok in the sun? I’ve heard nearly everyone including pan say never to let iron dry in the sun and I’ve witnessed bad water spotting doing it
We designed ours to be sun friendly. That said, if you can avoid it, use it in the shade
More Sylvie!
Yes
Hey Yvan. When doing mobile car detailing and you're drying the car, does it matter whether you have Rinseless or just water on the surface when it comes to which one will most likely cause streaking? Because I was planning on rinsing the car with water twice during my process to help fight against the sun drying the water on the surface and I'm just not sure if having only water on the surface will cause streaking or not vs having Rinseless on the surface?
DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash on the surface is safer than water, both for drying and for water spots.
@@diydetailofficial thank you but since the Rinseless is mixed with water does it not still cause water spots/mineral deposits when left on the panel or window for too long in the sun?
No, it makes polymer spots that wipe away with ease.
@@diydetailofficial Noted, appreciate the reply!
If I didn't want to polish then could I just top off the car with the ceramic detailer as a drying aid & call it a day ?
Yes, but a coating is so easy to apply and rewarding.
When will Rinseless 2.0 be available?
By the end of July
How about outside when I live on a dirt road and my car is dirty and muddy at the bottom? How is the best way to handle that?
Wash from the top down ruclips.net/video/uryuer3NuLM/видео.htmlsi=aqa5OTJ3OrDx49HT
I purchased groit garage g9 da polisher , I just bought ur gold standard spray
Can you recommend some of your 6 inch pads for a beginner? remove basic swirls and shine the car thank you thank you for your time
We only have 3 pads, Wool for the most cut, gold if one pad is all you want, red for fine finishing
Tyvm that’s make it a lot easier
One last question the pad you have is 5.5 inch will that fit my 6incb backing plate on g9 groit da polisher
And I did not see that bucket on your site either the grates in the side
You need a 6.5 inch pad. No we do not sell buckets
Tyvm
What happens if the iron remover dries on the paint? Will it cause damage?
If my rinseless solution without deionized water dries on the paint will it leave water spots or polymer spots that wipe away easily.
Thanks for your time and knowledge!
No stress either way
@@diydetailofficial I thought you needed deionized water with the rinseless. Thank you for the info!
Hi, I'm using gold standard polish for the first time. I'm having trouble with the wipe off. I'm working in a garage with about 60-70% humidity. I'm using DA at speed 4 with diy yellow waffle pad and a lake country pad washer. I clean the pad after each set. Then I use rinseless dampened low nap microfiber from your kit to wipe off followed by a dry microfiber, but when I look in raking light I still see spots of polish residue and they won't wipe off. Not sure what to do, I don't want to ceramic coat with it looking like that. Thanks for the help!
What polisher are you using?
@@diydetailofficial Vevor R7171 dual action polisher with maxshine 5in backing plate
Make sure your pad is only damp, not wet, spin it out on speed 6. Use only one spray of polish on the pad. Go down to speed 2-3
@@diydetailofficial thank you! I've been playing around while waiting and found better success at speed 3 rather than 4 or 4.5 that I had been using so I think the speed might be it. I'll try speed 2 as well. I think you've said use the slowest speed that the machine doesn't stall is that right? Thank you again!
Unfortunately the speed didn't fix the issue, the only way I can seem to avoid polish residue is to wipe the panel off the second I put the polisher down. I feel like I'm rushing to get out off there which doesn't jive with your videos so something else must be off. Are there special spray nozzles for the polish? I'm using the black ones that come with all your chemicals since I ordered other things along with the polish and am not sure if there was a specific nozzle with the polish. Perhaps I'm getting too much polish with each spray.
When is V2 coming out?
Soon
Do you guys have something that repels dust? Thanks.
Not repels per say, but our products don’t attract it
@@diydetailofficial Nice! Thank you. I can't wait to try your products.
Hi Ivan, as someone who has to work out in the sun all the time. can you explain why your iron remover is ok to dry?
I was about to ask the same damn question. I have been seeing an awful lot of detailers using iron decon in direct sun. And from my experience, allowing the product to dry could cause damage and also allowing the product to dry limits its working time.
We engineered it to be able to be used by mobile detailers
@diydetailofficial I don't feel so confident about using it outdoors as your site says use on a cool panel out of direct sunlight.
It’s up to you. There’s no company that’s going to encourage anyone to work in direct sunlight.
Is there no way to remove the iron remove stage with out running water?
You can use DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash in a sprayer, but a hose is best
Can you use the ik foamer for rinsless wash also ?
Yes
What kind of pressure washer was used to rinse?
A low cost unit from the hardware store
@@diydetailofficial Thanks!
It would be cool to do an episode in which Yvan and Sylvie (sp?) speak in French the whole time. Probably a terrible idea, but I learn a lot just from their actions.
There is one about a year ago
Which video is this from? Ty

@@diydetailofficial ahh right my bad, no idea why I commented this one on here 😂

How long can I let the 5 year ceramic coat sit before using it?
Unopened, 1 year, opened 3 months
@@diydetailofficial good to know I’ll see how this coat works and then apply it all time. I’ll use gold polish to ruff up the surface before applying and should be good to apply right ?
Yes
