I don’t understand how Garnt can be so objectively correct about chicken and so _completely and absolutely out of his goddamn mind_ when it comes to bread.
Honestly that can apply to all three of them. There have been many times where one of them has the correct take on something (almost always food) and the other two just pile in on them, and then in some other episode the person who had the correct take has a horrible one on a different subject within that same category.
He's a full-blooded Thai. Rice runs in their blood. Bread is blasphemy.

It’s not contradictory. Same reason why mozzarella sticks are good: it’s mostly the sauce being delivered by the stick that complements it. If you eat the mozzarella stick just itself though, it’s kind of boring.

There is pretty much zero difference in taste. If you use any kind of sauce or seasoning at all, there is just ABSOLUTELY no difference

@@hrewhrewhrew There is a massive difference in texture though. Boneless wings are overall more tough than bone in wings. The bones actually affect cooking times and temperatures as well as moisture retention during cooking.
Also, dark meat vs white meat has a whole different flavor and I prefer dark meat, even slathered in BBQ sauce I prefer dark meat because it is straight up juicier.
@@edrimuspage9667 if by "massive difference" you mean "barely noticeable difference" and by "whole different flavor" you mean "very slightly different flavor that is very easily overpowered by even the mildest of seasonings or sauces".

As someone who loves cooking and learning about cooking I think both and ups and downs. Chicken breast could be just as moist if you soak it in a good marinade for around 1-2 hours before cooking but you can do the same thing for the bone wings. If they say the breast has more flavor with less work then nah it’s bs. The amount of fat in dark chicken meat will always have more flavor because fat gives good flavor especially with the oil that replaces the water in chicken (oil is just more yummy fat). Also some ppl eat the bone marrow of chicken wings.
Also pineapple on pizza is good but the biggest issue with food is everyone has different taste and the best cooking is when it’s cooked specifically for the person that is eating it. This will always be a debate because there is no one universally loved food. I enjoy boneless wings just as much as bone wings just depends on my mood and how messy I want to get.

I've never been to dominos but my mother is not a fan of their pizza. I mostly eat either Carlos, jet's, or little Caesars with minimum sauce. Not too much.

This is the exact reason I eat my barbeque without sauce, hotdogs plain on a bun, burgers with cheese and maybe pickles, salad without ranch or dressing, and burritos without chile... Ok, there's this thing called Lechon Manok in the Philippines, which is a roasted chicken marinated in different spices.
Whenever we eat the whole roasted chicken, the breast part is ALWAYS the driest part of the chicken, and every other piece has the juicy fat which gives more, and I mean MORE flavor to it due to the bone's influence.
You would instantly know the difference of meat texture when you bite the meat of the breast to the legs.
I admit bone-in is very tasty compared to boneless, but for me I just like the ease of boneless, though I am losing some of the flavor.
That part when Joey stated that "all the beef taste the same", I kinda hoped that someone would feed him a Ribeye steak and then follow up with the Eye round one. Like, seriously, each part of an animal taste different due to intermuscular fat and the usage of muscle fiber. That's why Ribeye's taste is like heaven and Eye roud's is like the agorny of chewing hell.
Anyway, have you guy ever heard of Chicken feet salad? It's kinda bony but that gelatinous texture is amazing and that sour and spicy dressing? YUM!

I have to wonder if the pineapple y/n question is being misrepresented- like, do people take the question to be like "would you put pineapple on any pizza and like it?" Because I feel like the question should be "do you like the pizza usually called a Hawaiian pizza?"
Because canadian bacon/pork/ham DO all work with sweet flavors, like pineapple and apple. and (most) tomatoes have some sweetness to them naturally, and depending on the make of the pizza sauce there's going to be some amount of sugar added (because in general the US populace has been normalized toward strong/high intensity flavors), so there's already some level of sweet/savory interplay happening in a pizza by default.
I think Hawaiian pizza is pretty great- bbq chicken pizza w/ pineapple is good too! HOWEVER, I would not put pineapple on a pepperoni pizza, or a garlic chicken pizza, or a veggie pizza, etc.
ALSO: bones are/were boiled for soup stock/broth because ppl were trying to extract every bit of nourishment out of a chicken that they could- think of how old soup is as a dish, think of peasant families trying to make it through the winter on stockpiled produce and stored grain. Think of a lean harvest or accident making you have to survive a winter where you can only eat every other day, where the choice has to be made between feeding the adults so they have energy to do the work, or feeding the children so they don't grow up frail and malnourished. In that kind of situation, you wring every single little molecule of nutrition from what is available.

Not a big fan of wings myself (but if I had to, then I'd pick drums over flats), but I do prefer bone-in chicken. It's tastier, juicier and way more forgiving in cooking.

Tbh I love to eat marrow. It’s so delicious. It’s funny they mention not eating the bones when eating fried chicken, cuz sometimes I totally do.
It's a little frustrating because they essentially start arguing over 2 different things: "bone vs boneless" and "dark vs white meat". The whole debate lacks focus and the question of which is better is misleading. I've seen so many people choose "boneless" because it's easier to eat, when Garnt was actually asking which tastes better.

Which is it?? I swear people use the sauce = bad argument against boneless chicken all the time, but you can still put sauce on bone-in chicken. Sauce is not exclusive to anything. Also, Connor is absolutely correct about KFC, no one gets KFC for the actual chicken. It's always about the skin and it's 12 spices or whatever KFC loves to brag about.

I think it depends on how the chicken is cooked. When stewed or souped the breast is quite alright because the fact that it's the dries part of the chicken becomes non existent, however when fried most people will always go for the bony part since that's the part that contains the most oil and fat that gives the chicken so much flavor.

This is like the 4th time I've seen this clip and it still makes me mald on a level I've never malded before. It's not even a matter of disagreeable opinions either.
