    Thanks Bro that was very helpful. I was wondering if I could rebuild my own forks with the tools I have (thought you may need specialised tools and did not want to start before I knew) you have just given me the confidence to do it... Cheers

    Don't use steel wool on aluminum.

    When it comes to these old bikes impacts or power screwdrivers is something i stay away from,just better to use a old fashioned wrench or screwdrivers (metric of course and J.I.S on the driver) that fits good and snug,take your time, no rush,good video, that stuff that comes out of these forks after 40 plus years could probably be use as a biological agent of destruction,is nasty alright.
