    Like the video a lot! You seem like a regular guy that uses this stuff, not a geek trying to sell me crap. Thanks for the info, leaving work to buy this model today, little less worried I'm wasting money, after your video. Thanks man! Keep it up!

    7:47 for the part with holding the spool in the head, you’ll see little tabs on the spool and those tabs go in a little recess under the eyelets where the strings go to help prevent the spool from coming loose with u thread the line through the eyelets. Once u turn the trimmer on and throttle the trimmer up (after the cover on the bottom is replaced) the spool will free itself from under the tabs due to centrifugal force pulling outward.

      @@TheLawnReview yes and my trimmers have these heads luckily. A lot of the others use the echo speed loaders but I feel like these heads r better bc they last longer.

    40to1 50to1 you can buy it in a small can or a bigger can of pre mix gas I would recommended for all of your 2cycle equipment awesome fuel burns cleaner than mixing your own fuel

  • @keithienmason4643
    @keithienmason4643 2 года назад +1

    If you ever heard of pre mix fuel that's some good stuff no ethanol free gas great fuel to use than mixing your own but it's expensive to buy you can buy the little cans of pre mix gas it comes in different names brands it does the job

    7:14 honestly, the only reason those heads, as well as many others, r a pain to open up is bc they’re new and stiff. Once u break them in over a few seasons or so, they get easier and easier.

    • @bobbystewart2605
      @bobbystewart2605 10 месяцев назад

      I found that it helps to stick a flat head (slotted, depends on where ur from) in the little holes above the tabs and pry them open at first.

    That is the old 25.2 head. My brand new FS56RCE came with the new 26.2 auto feed head, which loads with one piece 25’ of .095 cutting line.

      @TheLawnReview  Год назад

      Wow that's pretty sweet. Its a great trimmer and I think the RCE series is even easier to start.

      @TheLawnReview thanks for replying. We are going to take the Stilh FS 56 RC back to the dealer and try to see why the bump doesn't work or the head doesn't turn correctly. We were told Stihl was a very good product. Maybe we happened to have bought a lemon. Hoping not
