Dirt bike parts take a lot of abuse and any type of coating will need to hold up the the elements. I've had great luck with powder coating and I feel it's one of the best types of coating out there.

Man every project you touch turns to gold your videos are so satisfying
Never seen powdercoating done before. Impressive results. Can't wait to see it fully assembled.
Powder coat the levers, handlebars, the rims and maybe cylinder head
Got mine looking nearly as good as yours with a dose of soda blasting. I then used a wire wheel attached to my drill to polish. I used the wire wheel, wire brushes, and wd-40. I'm sending them for powder coating next week. Thanks for your inspirational videos.
Just ordered my powder coating kit the other day and I should have it all by the weekend. Your videos are really helping me understand the process and making me anxious about all of the possibilities. Keep up the good work.
You are a man that is not afraid of sharing your knowledge to others
You’re 1k off 300k atm. So happy for you man - you’ve been through so much and deserve this. Much love
This project is gonna look insane can’t wait to see it all finished but do it at your pace 👊🏽
Can't beat the color of PC !
I dont have to watch it until finish to like the video. Its just so satisfying just to watch the end result.
Powder coat more parts! this thing is going to be sick!! Maybe powder the Triple clamps, and the rear shock linkage?? Having the rear shock linkage matching the spring might really set it off nice. Just a thought. I know the timing is bad for rear shock linkage because you rebuilt it in a recent video with new bearings, grease etc.
Best cooking video on yt
you should powder coat the triple clamps and red and the swing arm matte black. sick vid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay! you went for the Powder coating, looks a lot better then the brushed look Your inspiring me to do my Yamaha hubs blue and chrome.
every videos makes me imagine the final product. im so exited to see the assembly !
Nicely done, Cameron. Very impressed with your patience and sense of detail with the masking process for example. I’m sure you’ll soon be having fun caking these hubs in mud!
Looks super awesome dude! It suprises me what a man can do in his simple workshop!
Mine were cerakoted by Faster USA, no masking, coats all surfaces, and tougher than powder coat. 😉
Great job keep pushin! This is going to be a sick bike for sure.
Been loving the videos cam
Auto-focus comes in clutch at 7:30
Ahaha worked out Pryme!
p.s. I started powder coating because of the video you made back in the day when you did your hubs/spokes and i've been watching ever since. it's cool to see a #tbt with the powder coating. stoked to see all that you've accomplished since then - keep it up, man.
My whole frame is powder coated black and my hubs are red. Powder coated parts are VERY EASY to clean. Doesn’t really scratch either!
looks incredible, you are master of powder coating.
looks awesome. in my opinion cam, anodizing is easier to care for. less likely to scratch, no chipping to worry about etc. don't think you would need to worry about masking either. they do look sick though. good job
I think you should add some basic shielding (stainless net or something) on top of those heating elements in your amazing oven to make the temperature more even on a surface of the whole part. Now the bottom (and maybe the top too, nut sure about the insides) of the baked part is getting much more heat before the whole unit warms up to the same temp.
just to let you know you can coat it right out the oven at 200c. this is how we do it at work as its faster and you can see it flow out as you do it.
Next the rims with black. That will look sick!
dooope. this is gonna be the cleanest, best cr250 period.
Got a crf230f today!! Your vids are an inspiration to me
You should powder coat the tripleclamps with the same red
Great job, I loved every thing about them.
Keep it up!
Can't wait to see the bike complete! keep it up!
The hubs really look amazing !! Great work !!
The result is very very beautiful whith chrome and red, but why you don't have think to anodized this pieces?
Cant wait to see the bike complete
do the wheels black and the spokes chrome please it'd look sick
You have to do the motor next!!! 🔧🔧🔩
Great job as always and good content keep the good work up. that cr is gonna look mint as when all dun
It looks really good, hoping to see more details like this.
Great job! I’m anxious to see this bike put together.
Love your videos man! I really like your dedication and craftmanship- inspiring for sure! Thanks for all the content...
I think the frame would look nice without powder coat, just like the 125 frame, super clean. Unless you pull off something dope, which you usually end up doing.
Could you give us numbers of powder paints?
Those hubs came out nice. BUT, they should have definitely been sand blasted. The brushed etchings is not sufficient enough for a dirt bike hub.
You should Powder coat the outer rim a black and could you do a video on powder coating a rear drum brake. Thanks
those look awesome! all your bikes look pristine 👌
That first coat looked awesome. I was amazed that paint could look like chrome. Have you thought about doing powder coating in conjunction with your parts business?
This bike is going to be truly gorgeous
i want a powder coating gun so badly!!!!
it looks AWESOME
Looking amazing. That’s Pro level work!!
If i could afford it id get my whole go kart frame done. Nice.
This bike is going to look so awesome! Nice work 👍
Steps on how to powder coat in chrome like how long before the red is applied after coming out the oven
Cameron, you said it best: Amazing!
ugh... not a fan of an anodize coating look in any color...you did a good job... that shiny chrome look was bad ass... the raw aluminum was cool too!!
Hola excelente todo lo que haces me ayudan mucho ver tus videos tomo todo en práctica a un Que me da difícil saber los productos q usas. Saludos desde Colombia.
Dude, those hubs look awesome!!!
What color translucent red did you use , looks awesome
Wow very nice well done job those look Pryyyme
id love to see what a coated barb body would look like!
Awesome job the hubs look amazing
Thats how ya do it!!
Another great job. Can't wait to see the 250
triple clamps and spoke nipples in the same colour would be very very nice, also brake calipers in that color will be nice
Do the levers and bars
Should try a sprocket and test durability
You should powder coat the swing arm black, rims black and maybe the triple tree oooooo and the bottom of the forks senses they are apart
Woah!!! I didn’t know Macaulay Culkin worked on dirt bikes!!👍🏻
Look Mint! does the powder coating last?? any chips? have these hit the track?
Wow alot work powder coating. Oven is on sweet. This is kool u just put powder on it. Turns into liquid
great video once again, keep em coming bro!:)
Amazing. It's the only word for your job!
These look pryme
Yess!
Damn they look good. 💯 keep it up
That is sick as HELL!!!!!!
So do the spoke holes not matter with getting covered?
Amazing im new in subscribing your videos i 'll play all your videos from the start really helpful!
What if i dont have sand blast or any kind pf machine can i just use sand paper and my country was not that popular at powder coating and cerakote can i just use like paint that use compressor
I know that it's a year later, but what about handle bars
If you brush with grease instead of masking tape?
They came out so nine good job
You should start selling color powered hubs.
Hello, I run 32cc gas rc cars, I wanna power coat the crankcase and the cylinder head, think it can be done? It’s a 2 stroke
Those parts look beautiful
Just wondering what temp your oven goes up to
Did you grind ribs down on hubs for a smooth look
What use chrome powder? Nice look
Them hubs look sweet man. Great work, ima have to send you mines so they can look as good as yours lol
Would an infared thermometer help to know when to spray the powder?
Was there a how to do to speak on power coating don’t by him, I’d love to see one just because
Hey Cameron you should start selling powdercoat parts, they look dope !
You have some insane skills !
What can you do instead of sand blasting?
Looks awesome Cameron
Could I cerakote my hubs? Or should I go with powder coating as well
How much if I mailed you some parts ? Such as dirtbike rims , shifter , pegs , hubs
Did you try other reds? What code is the red you're using here? Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Cameron.
Your so good at what you do, keep up the good work. Im looking for a race mechanic fancy stepping up to the job?
Why didn’t you hang it from the bolt?
