Thanks BF. Interesting coupling of the first two songs! The third instrumental song (hymn) *4:01* "Just As I Am" was always played at Billy Graham's Christian rallies for altar call. Very nice hearing Willie do such a lovely job picking it on the guitar. Prior to the "Red Headed Stranger", Willie had a gospel album called "Family Bible" a very good album and it might have been his first. 🙌
Lyrics But he could not forgive her Though he tried and tried and tried And the halls of his mem'ry Still echoed her lies And he cried like a baby And he screamed like a panther In the middle of the night And he saddled his pony And he went for a ride It was a time of the preacher In the year of O-one Now the lesson is over And the killin's begun Songwriters: Willie Nelson 7 5 2024 MM

Lyrics
But he could not forgive her
Though he tried and tried and tried
And the halls of his mem'ry
Still echoed her lies
And he cried like a baby
And he screamed like a panther
In the middle of the night
And he saddled his pony
And he went for a ride
It was a time of the preacher
In the year of O-one
Now the lesson is over
And the killin's begun
