Ah yes. Way back in 2001 my art teacher introduced us to calligraphy. She let us pick the pen and ink we wanted to learn with. The pens were all stored in cups with the nibs facing up so they don't rust after cleaning (they were never clean due to it being high school). I set my wrist on top of a set of nibs to go through the cup of pens next to it. When I lifted my hand an extra fine pen nub had impaled my wrist. It didn't hurt so I pulled it out. Later while I was washing my hand I noticed a black dot on my wrist. It wouldn't wash off. I still have the black dot to this day though it's quite faded at this point. And that's how I got my first tattoo.

Been watching your videos for a few years now. And im just blown away away with your work. You are truly a master and have great taste for tea

That is a stunning piece of work! It’s always so much fun watching you do what you do, from the meticulous way you set everything up, to the tea, to the finished product. Even though you never say a word, you tell such a story with your art, and it makes you by far my favorite blacksmith channel on RUclips. I wish I knew what you were using to make the tea sometimes though, I find that almost as fascinating as the metal itself. XD

Leidenfrost effect, moisture from the skin evaporates so fast it creates momentary heat-protective layer of vapor.
Also thermal inertia. You can touch blazing hot things if you do it fast.
