thats NOT what those two holes are for, you already have a place to trim your wire. Those are for a guide stop so you can cut equal lengths of wire every time. Put a wire in the vise and use trim its end flush as normal. then push it through the vice till it extends the length you want lock the hex key in those holes with the bent end touching the end of the piece now sticking out. Use a saw to cut, flush the new end. push wire out till it hits the stop... and repeat.
You need to put the link in the description section or at least in the post section. So aggravating to have to search for your products. I just spent 5 mins. searching your site for this product. I gave up.
"Because it's carbon steel, you will not cause any damage with your file." -- My files are more expensive than this jig! One of my fellow students trashed a file on this. I still think it's the cat's meow, but it's important to know that your files will get damage when you're using this.

Thank you! This was of great help. :)
I don’t get it. How do you know the wire is in straight to begin with?

NSSamia He meant you won't cause damage _to the vice._ He didn't say anything about your files.
@@maxcohen13 Yes, and that is why NSSamia did say something... 👍
