He gave him the evil eye in 6x14 after he told him he and Spencer were together. Difference is, Spencer told Hanna BEFORE she screwed the love of her life. Caleb didn’t extend Toby the same courtesy.

There’s a reason why Spencer went to Hanna and Caleb went to Toby before things got too far... Speaking from personal experience, I don’t think it’s such a bad thing if you can all be mature about it. My ex married one of my best friends and is and in their wedding. I’ve spent time with them and their kids. It’s not impossible.
I lost it when she said "It was like my heart had just stopped" 😢 She loved Toby so much and she probably still does. Truly amazing acting by Troian.

It was done beutifully the break up, it was mature, Spencer didn't blame Caleb, she said that they both made mistakes, she thanked him for opening her heart again and falling in love after Toby, and that's life, sometimes we get the chance to Fall in love again, whether you like Spaleb or not you can't deny that it was one of the more mature break ups on the show

Is it just me or did Caleb not seem so upset ab the break up? Like every time he broke up with Hanna he cried and was heartbroken. In this scene he didn’t, I don’t think that Caleb was in love with Spencer.
I think so too. And he's not emotional. It's like: "okay, i'm really fine with this".
I think that's why this scene seems so mature. Because Caleb's emotions are missing...and Spencer pours her heart out, but break up, which Caleb apparently thinks is okay. No drama, because of the missing feelings.
Although I might not have liked Spaleb - this was a beautiful ending to their relationship. Troian is such an incredible actress and deserves so much more recognition than what she gets!!👏🏻👏🏻

Literally the worst thing that happened in the entire series, almost made me want to instantly quit and delete HBO for good. Also it made me dislike spencer for doing that to hanna.. who thought this was a good idea omg
Breaking Spencer and Caleb was the biggest error of the show.It made look everything and everybody wrong.They shouldn't have put them together if they're meant to split up. They change the story for Spoby and Haleb fans but the truth is that Spencer and Caleb were right for each other. Not everybody ends up with the high school boyfriend. The episodes when they were together brought a lot of emotion to the show, they glued me to the couch and when they broke up I just couldn't watch the show with the same interest.I couldn't see Haleb or Spoby anymore.

How? I don't see how they were "epic." Literally nothing good came out of them. They were just supposed to be "aesthetics." For show. Though even that I can say that I didn't find them aesthetically pleasing. Anyway, back to my point about something coming out of them which did not. For example: With Haleb, Hanna helped Caleb sort the issues with his foster family and even encouraged him to meet and bond with his birth father. And that's only one example out of the many good things that happened thanks to Haleb. Can't say the same about Spaleb. They were a disaster. Recent episodes prove it. Shouldn't have happened at all. Marlene should have kept them in their respective lanes.

Unpopular Opinion: Haleb-Maleb would have been a better love triangle than Haleb-Spaleb
I always hear from Spaleb fans that they made more sense because they were smart and could have intellectual conversations, but that doesn’t scream being a lot alike when that seems to be the only argument to them being mature and making sense. If that’s the case, then shouldn’t you all think Mona and Caleb would be batter match? Mona and Caleb have a lot more in common than Spencer and Caleb (both are hackers, cunning, both love protecting Hanna and are close to her, both can be snarky and sarcastic at times).
I think that they had potential to have better development than Spaleb had before establishing a relationship with each other as they would be the frenemies to friends to lovers trope. Spaleb didn’t have good development. Their storyline was rushed and mostly portrayed like fwb relationship, which is one of the main reasons most people either didn’t like it or just couldn’t get themselves to have an emotional attachment to it. Yes, it was hot at first, but being hot with little to no emotional chemistry isn’t going to always convince viewers that they’re in love. Maleb, on the other hand, have a better chance at establishing some emotional chemistry due to them being so much more alike where they can bond over hacking A and trade snarky banter (like they have already been shown to do). Personally, I’m always going to prefer Haleb to be endgame, so I’d still want it to lead back to Haleb getting back together, but I would have enjoyed the love triangle and angst more if it was Mona-Caleb-Hanna.
I would have loved to see that happened, all though I don’t want Mona to have her heartbroken, I feel like she’s been though enough.

It’s funny how people say Spaleb is more realistic when Spencer has a degree and is working in politics while Caleb doesn’t even have a degree. Toby works better for her as he has a degree and is working as a police (criminal science field) that works well with the political field. Why would intelligent, academic Spencer Hastings settle for someone who doesn’t at least have a degree? Not badmouthing Caleb, but it’s so not like her when she’s always been one to want more. Clearly Toby works better.
