YES! I loved Jenna so much in this episode. She's made my top 3 fave gals on this show after Mona and Spencer. I loved when Jenna grabbed Addisons arm and was like "I may be blind but I can smell a bitch a mile away" I wanted to squeal in excitement.

This is my honest opinion from a fan that has been following the show since the beginning. Too much of the finale was spent on romance/sex scenes and knock off Ali. Literally, a whole hour was dedicated to this. It needed more suspense, mystery, and action. As for the "Uber A" reveal, I personally think Melissa should have been A.D. and I was SO disappointed that it didn't end up being her under the hoodie. Wren, Mona, Lucas, Paige, and Mike should have been a part of the A team. I really just wanted characters that were a part of the story since the beginning. I wouldn't have even minded the Spencer twin storyline if only it was better written and more fleshed out. If they didn't spend the whole first hour on boring drama and sex-scenes then they would not have had to rush the reveal and ultimate capture of A.D. Like did we really wait 7 seasons for Jenna to sniff out A???? Just terrible and rushed writing. This, of course, doesn't come from a place of hate, but from a disappointed fan that loves the show. I don't regret the 7 years spent on the Liars and Rosewood

Plus Melissa is related/involved in EVERY SITUATION IN THIS SHOW and she was NEVER hurt by any of it. Melissa being A made the MOST sense and still made it about a sister of Spencer without it being another convenient, at-the-last-minute shoe-horned copy that nobody cared about.

Toby didn't know jack squat. It took the horse freaking out and Jenna calling him for him to wake up and smell the coffee. If he really truly knew Spencer that well, he would have known the second Alex kissed him, or even long before that, that something was off. No matter how well you pretend to be someone, everybody has things unique to them that no outsider could know. Behaviors or personal ticks that would have been a dead giveaway for anyone with half a brain. Thinking back, I think that's what frustrates me the most about this episode.

I'm so disappointed that they did this cliche evil twin bullshit and then they insulted us further with the who "I'm the real Spencer, No I am" shit thats been done to death. Even Family Guy pointed out that that cliche of two people who alike and claimed to be the same person so they don't get shot has been done to death. I can understand them doing the evil twin cliche in the books since they suck but I really had high hopes for this...I was expecting a split personality or one of the liars to be secretly evil...I was waiting and waiting like crazy and this is what we end up with.. Such a fucking disappointment. They could have really done something crazy and twisted that would have thrown us all for a fucking loop but nope this is the fucking bullshit we are given. And this whole plotline was leaked so some people actually knew that A.D. was Spencer's twin all along. At least Charlotte was a secret. Seven years to figure out nothing...I'm still confused about who killed Sara. If Spencer was A.D. the whole time I would have LOVED! this episode but the whole Alex shit just pisses me off. The only part of the episode I loved was that Mona got her happy ending. She now has her own shop in Paris, a attractive french lover and her own personal living dolls to play with. In the end she was the real winner. She defeated Charlotte, Mary and Alex. She is the original A after all.

Tori Cooper It's not that we're not grateful. But I spent seven years of my life invested in this show. In finding out who A/A.D is. And they kept promoting this huge tell-all end game epic episode so that's what fans expected. I was expecting some big, intense reveal and a super exciting wrap up. What we got was nice, but it was a huge let down. It almost feels like the writers got lazy. There were so many plot holes and inconsistencies it wasn't even funny. Especially with Alex masquerading as Spencer. That entire plot line was so poorly executed. All in all, yeah, it was a nice episode, but it wasn't what they told us it would be. It was a let down and people have a right to be mad about it, just like I will always and forever be angry about the atrocity that is the ending of the final Harry Potter movie.

I don't wanna be harsh because we all love the show however for me this disclosure was even more disappointing than when Charlotte was revealed as A. Honestly no surprise or excitement at all. Actually when all the liars were told about the twin's existence they weren't in that shock. Neither were we. I thought we would get bit by bit. For me the season's finale would be 7x19 when we found about Mona. What I truly loved was Troian's acting. Like seriously she nailed it and pulled her accent off. It was quite on point. And Janel was brilliant as usual. It's just an opinion guys. If you enjoyed it, good for you.

She was the black swan & queen of hearts (according to Mona) PLUS she was robbed of being BLACK WIDOW who was supposed to be endgame (Über A).
Alex Drake being AD wasn't entirely bad but I wanted someone from the very beginning to be Über A to make it "full circle" seeming how the entire finale had that vibe

This was the most disappointing thing I have ever seen. After the Mary Drake twin reveal this is just pathetic. I feel so robbed and I can't believe I expected more. THERE ARE SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS, about Bethany young, Wilden, Garrett, Ezra, wren, Sara Harvey, Toby's mum, archer dunhill, Noel Kahn, Eddie lamb, Jenna, Melissa, mike?? All the people who were connected to the A team and we didn't even get any flashbacks ? Also why the fuck introduce a new character when there were so many original characters who could have been A.D!!!! This show strayed SO far from the original plot, about Alison disappearing because someone was after her. The show was so much more thrilling, mysterious and interesting then. It should have ended after Alison came back and explained everything.(although Cece shouldn't have been the mastermind behind it all, that was just as disappointing). You would've thought they could come up with something better than a long lost evil twin. Also we don't even know how wren fucking died? Or why and how he is the father of emisons twins? And other things like why Mona said "Miss Aria you're a killer not Ezras wife".. MAYA KNEW.. maya knew what? Like WHAT?! I could go on and on but I'm honestly not wasting another breath about this stupid show. So angry that I wasted years watching it for nothing. Marlene just made it up as she went along leaving plot holes along the way. ALSO, what the fuck. Marlene said that A.D was in the pilot episode of season 1. BUT BACK THEN ALEX DIDNT EVEN KNOW SPENCER OR CHARLOTTE EXISTED! So she wasn't in the pilot! Marlene is a fucking liar.

I didn't like the ending. I don't know why Spencer had a twin in the first place. Also when AD had the second comic they drew a headstone that indicated someone was gonna die. No one even died . Lucas appeared to be AD. I liked the idea of Lucas being AD. I thought it was really ridiculous that Spencer had a twin. Unless Spencer's twin is Lucas in a mask. It made no sense. I feel like Marlene just wanted to please the fans, and they were asking her to have Spencer have a twin. I think Marlene was planning to have Lucas be AD, but people thought it would be interesting if the whole Spencer twin thing existed. I just think It's disappointing, and If I was the creator of the show, I would go with the person I originally picked to be AD.

And also, I thought the headstone drawing represented where Archer was buried and the girls were about to dig him up but decided against it. I personally loved the ending. I couldn't see A.D. being any of the main cast, it just wouldn't make sense to me.

Lynn G No, you just mis-read that scene. AD was drawing the tombstone not because someone was going to die but because she was going to make the liars dig up Archer's body from Charles' grave and she tipped the cops off and that was supposed to make them all go to jail.

This is the worst plot twist ever. When it was revealed that Jessica had a twin sister it was cool, but this was just really disappointing and annoying. Although the acting was phenomenal, the entire episode wasn't really that good either. The events were completely all over the place, the first 40 minutes was literally just them all making out, and the reveal of AD was so bad. This whole "secret sibling" was good at first, but now it's so cheesy and repetitive. 7x19 should have been the series finale with all of the couples getting married at the end, and a better reveal of AD.

This ended so fast! But doing half a season of Alex taking over Spencer’s life and waiting for her to figure it out, that would have been epic!!!
I never been so angry. The way they ended the vampire diaries is ten times better even tho it wasn't completely the best. But this?? This is like every other show or whatever, how it ended. I wasn't even shocked at all. I expected when alex Drake and Mary drake was arrested they weren't really going to be arrested, I was expecting much more. The only part I really liked was when the moms were drunk, if I am honest. I can't pick out any other parts I truly liked. Maybe how Alison proposed to emily, but I feel like they could have done a better job. And how wren ended up being the father of Lily's and grace? (Alison's & Emilys daughters) it should have been somebody else, I don't know. I really hope i am not the only one who wasn't disappointed. And how they just had Lucas in the way beginning?? I wish they showed more of Lucas. I liked Jenna part. I just expected the show to be ten times more better. Anyone else? And not have Spencer twin sister to be AD. I could rant about this for days and still be speechless about how things have went downhill.
Like don't get me wrong, the acting was brilliant like always. Especially Troian's (my bad if I am spelling it wrong). All of them were brilliant, but you know.. it could have went a lot better.

nicole cupido Marlene is an excellent writer, as you can see but in my opinion i thought TVD ending of the show was better. Obviously the two shows are very different but still. Every other episode of pretty little liars was beyond so good, always got me fucked up, I just think the ending could have went another way, that is all. Oh my god lol did they seriously do the "which one do I shoot thing?" Honestly from the reveal onwards, I had to laugh at everything else, except Mona and her new dollhouse, which honestly to me was still pretty satisfying.

Spencer( Troian Bellisario) was always a good actor. So not surprised by the outstanding performance.
And I won't complain about the episode, but I'll just say I am disappointed in the way they decided to conclude the PLL series. Heavily disappointed, just an opinion.

This was a horrible episode. To me it doest exist. Sure Troians acting was very good, Emison gets engaged, Ezria gets married, Haleb is pregnant and Mona has her perfect ending, but non of that could save this episode. There are just so many plot holes, SO MANY unanswered questions and it was just horribly written. The fan theories make way more sense than the actual thing. 7x19 is the perfect ending. Mona ends the Game she started. The girls are free and Uber A is driving away. Everyone wins. And I can give myself the answer that I want. To me Melissa and Wren are Uber A and they got away with it. I can live with that.
Here is my story:
Melissa was there since the beginning. She found out that Spencer was just her half-sister when Mary Drake secretly wanted to see Spencer but she met the wrong daughter. Melissa always had problems with Spencer and when she found out that she wasn't even a 'real part' of the Hastings family, things got even worse. Melissa forced Mary to tell her everything or she would tell her parents and Mrs.D that she was here, knowing that Mary would get into trouble. Mary said that she came to Rosewood to see her children, so she told her about Spencer and Charles. At that time Mary didn't know that Charles was Charlotte and that she was allowed to leave Radley to go to school. Melissa then went to visit Charles at Radley, finding out that he was now Charlotte. They became friends. When Charlotte asked her how Melissa knew about her, she said that Mary Drake told her and that she was the twin sister of Jessica Dilaurentis. Thats how Charlotte named herself CeCe Drake. Melissa realized that Charlotte didn't know that Mary was her mother so she kept that a secret from her. They were friends and she didn't want to hurt her like that. In Rosewood CeCe and Ali became best friends. When the Dilaurentis family took CeCe to Cape May that summer, Melissa followed them. That's where CeCe, Ali and Melissa met Wilden for the first time. CeCe told Alison about pretending to be her and going to Radley as a prank only to start a conversation about Radley. Charlotte wanted to tell Alison that she was actually her sister but Mrs.D told Ali that fake story of CeCe pretending to be her and going to Radley as a prank, so that Alison would never even think of her actually being a patient there and Ali and CeCe would lose contact.Melissa hated Alison for hitting on her boyfriend Ian and she hated Spencer for being Alisons friend. Many people hated Alison at that time so Melissa, Jenna, Ian, Garret and Jason formed the NAT club to spy on people, especially on Alison and her friends. They called them the 'Rosewood Bitches'. Melissa found out that someone was sending Alison threats and she got really interested. She found out that is was Mona. She pretendet to be Alison, using the letters A.D. and began to send Mona texts. She wanted to make her think that Alison found out it was Mona so that she would get scared and do whatever Melissa sais. Mona however knew that it wasnt Alison sending her these texts so she wasnt scared and she ignored this whole thing. At that time Charlotte had told Melissa about Bethany getting her in trouble, so they made plans to lure Bethany to Rosewood, pretending to be Alison sending her letters. Charlotte always had the same clothes als Alison. Bethany stole these clothes (the yellow top) and came to Rosewood that night. CeCe was also wearing the yellow top at first, so that Bethany would think it was Alison from far away, so that Charlotte could lure her to the right place to kill her. That didn't work out so Charlotte put on a black jacket to hide in the dark, following Bethany. She hit her with a stone, but it wasnt Bethany, it was Alison. Melissa later saw the real Bethany being killed by Mona, who thought it was Alison. After that, Charlotte was back in Radley, Mona stopped being A, Alison was missing and Melissa went to London where she met Wren. A year later when they got back to Rosewood, she noticed that Mona started sending A messages again. And when Spencer and Wren kissed, she got mad at her for ruining her relationship and future marriage. She was reminded once again that Spencer wasn't really a part of the Hastings Family, she was 'just' her half-sister. So she started thinking about joining Mona's Game. Getting revenge on her sister and torturing the rest of the 'rosewood bitches'. In Radley she told Charlotte about Mona's Game and she was interested. She told her everything about the girls and how they were happy that Alison was gone, she manipulated Charlotte into hating those girls. After Mona played her Game for a while and after Ian was dead (Melissa blamed Spencer because she hated Ian) Melissa started to send anonymous messeges to Mona. She convinced her to reveal herself to play a bigger and better Game, Charlottes Game. At that time, Melissa was secretly back with Wren, she told him to work at Radley and he gave Mona all those drugs, so that she wouldn't remenber Charlotte. He made a fake visitior pass with the name CeCe Drake on it, so that the girls would never even get the idea of CeCe being a patient there after findig it. Wren also got involved with Charlotte. Mona told Charlotte everything about the game and about the girls and how she tortured them. After that Mona was just a puppet for Charlotte and Melissa until they took over and completly stole the game from her. Charlotte teamed up with an old friend, Sara Harvey, who was just like Alison before she ran away from her bad home situation. She told her about how Alisons friends were just like her friends and that they deserved to suffer for being happy that Alison was gone. Sara believed her and helped her. Charlotte promised her a place to stay and Money. Melissa teamed up with Shana and Jenna. She told Shana to set the fire at the lodge. Charlotte didn't know about that, she just wanted to see if Alison was alive. After that Charlotte and Sara were the only ones in charge of the game. Melissa and Wren were always watching, but they werent playing until Alison was back in town. They teamed up with Charlotte and Sara again and she convinced Charlotte, that after the girls were in prison, she could put them into the dollhouse. Melissa send Mona texts that she could talk to A, if she faked her death. Mona did it but Charlotte knew about the plan and took her to the dollhouse. Charlotte was now at the dollhouse all day while Sara worked hard on getting the girls arrested under the orders of Melissa, who was in London at that time with Wren. The plan worked, the girls were in the dollhouse and Alison was gonna be there too. The reason why A was so close to Spencer and A seemed to have a connection in the dollhouse was because Spencer was the half-sister of Charles/Charlotte. Caleb, Ezra and Alison got the girls out of the dollhouse. Thats where Melissa stopped giving any orders, she was out of the game. Charlotte used Sara to get close to the girls. Sara slowly started to feel bad because she realized that they were actually nice people, she still helped Charlotte. Now that everyone knew about Charles, Charlotte had to reveal herself because she felt like she was gonna get exposed soon. Melissa convinced her to not tell anyone about her in her story. Charlotte thought she endet the game. But 5 years later, when Charlotte was killed, Melissa was sad and angry at her killer because she and Charlotte used to be friends. She finally took over, she teamed up with Wren and contacted Jenna, Sara, Sidney, Archer Dunhill and Noel with anonymous texts. She wanted to use the game to find Charlottes killer, using her original letters A.D. Sara however felt still guilty for torturing the girls just because of Charlotte. She wanted to tell Emily everything, so Melissa told Noel to kill Sara. After Noels death, Jenna and Sidney were the only helping hands of A. After Mona told the girls that she killed Charlotte, the game was finally over. Mona endet the game she once started. The girls were free. Melissa packed her things and drove away to her boyfriend Wren to live a with him a happy life, kinda like Bonny and Clyde.

Even if it were from a different book, it's clear that only Spencer can recite a poem in fluent French and Toby would understand her because she taught him.
It's a book that Spencer knows, I can't remember why and when, but it is related to Spoby, and Toby knew which poem was Spencer's favorite
Ingrid Fenniman I think you need to go back to season 1 or 2. spencer gave toby a French book when she started tutoring him. she took notes from that book. Alex knew what the book was but apparently failed to learn and understand its contents.
also, maybe Alex gave him a diff copy of the book that wasn't Spencer's, just like how she bought new furniture that looked exactly the ones Spencer had. just so she could suck the life out of that girl and replace her instead.
Alex is sooo unexplainably vile, and I think that is the point of the episode. to show that maybe one didn't need to have that reasonable motive behind ruining other people's lives.

I thought the episode was good, except for a few small things. I've had an inkling that it was Spencer's twin since the second half of this season started so it was nice to be correct. But I hated Alex's accent (it was soooo bad lol I thought she was Scottish and Irish before I realized she was supposed to be British) and I hated how they spent so much time on Addison and her friends. Clearly setting up a spin-off which I think was a rude waste of our final moments of this show.

Jenna technically the Scottish accent would come under the British accent, as well as the northern Irish accent. And it wasn't a British accent, it was supposed to be a cockney accent (london) which happened to turn out horrifically and sounded kind of Australian and American mixed into one.
Horrible ending … anyone would have been better as A.D ! I really didnt thing they would do the twin thing … it's what everyone was expecting and was the worst choice ! Any fan theory would have been better …😒😒

I think what bothers me most about the ending besides the fact that Spencer magically had a twin we never knew about, is the fact that her friends didn't even know which one was her. Like the people that went through everything together, good and bad, couldn't tell. They left it up to Toby to figure it out. Makes me doubt their entire friendship.
Aria knew exactly where to go then that Ezra text at the end like they couldnt let her be A.D

Yeah i stopped watching after season 3, got so tired and annoyed of the season finale cliff hangers. I just ended up looking on the internet on who A was and i recently watched the final season and the spencer twin idea was so stupid.

People say that the A.D reveal was trash and the rest was good. I think the opposite! I thought it was great that Spencers twin was A.D.. i feel like no other character would have had a real reason for being A. Although the editing, timing, place and environment was really bad.
* Spencer and Alex's fight should've been waaay longer and more intense.
* One of the main characters should've died (i would've hated that in the moments but Marlene needed to spice things up)
* Okay so the liars NEVER realized that Mona was A until she revealed herself, yet they realize that Spencer has an evil twin within' 2.5 seconds? Like really?
* The ending didn't feel bitter sweet at all.. imo it was lacking emotions, very tasteless.

THAT'S EXACTLY IT. I've been reading the comments and going over the end for a while and you're so right. It's not that this particular end was bad. Because it wasn't. PLL is like a teen soap opera. Spencer having an evil twin with real motive is a decent plan. But it was executed really poorly. The pacing was just way off. Way off.
