Willem Dafoe is such a great actor. Despite all his supportive fans, I still think he doesn't get the full recognition that he deserves
It's because he takes such hardcore, edgy roles and doesn't get scared doing them. That's fine and can be cool etc. But I think he's his own man and doesn't want the BS of A-list stars.
I like the fact that he said it the second time while being surrounded mostly by brilliant scientists-turned-supervillains.

For real, man. As soon as Norman said "Maybe I can help you..." I immediately went "No way in hell- he won't say it... wait, he's gonna say it!" and thus he did. I had the biggest grin on my face, as I'm sure many people in my theater did also.
The fact that he says this same line in nwh with same face and tone makes this really iconic

On a real note though he is absolutely terrifying as green goblin. Honestly scarier than any horror movie I've seen, just his presence without his green goblin costume gave me shivers. Such a brilliant actor and I dont think anyone else could play green goblin as well as he does.
The rameyversve norman osborn is such a tragic character, especially after NWH... Unlike most versions you can tell he loves his son and isn't a bad guy at all, it's the goblin that ruined him and destroyed him.
Aside from the hilarious throwback meme, I've never noticed that this is actually a great depiction of the dynamic between Harry, Norman, and Peter.
It's a shame that I was the only one who applauded in the theater when he said this line. I was so full of joy.

In NWH , he desperately want to get rid his "split-personality syndrome " or his " inner Goblin " because all he want is back as a normal Norman Osborn again. But watching him beat Spiderman without his Goblin Helmet , with his bizarre expression to taunt and joke with Spiderman pain, is just OMG.... He's so intimidating and made me feel that I really don't want to meet this guy at real life 🤣😂
