About Jimbo's Garage:
Jimbo's Garage is a channel to watch real metal, steel, welding and wood projects.
JG, you have excellent content and advice in your videos and it is my honor to watch them so that I learn something new. Keep up the good work and much success in them. Greetings from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Great video! Those tabs are just fine because the desktop is sitting on the metal frame. They just need to stop it sliding off sideways.
Now that's a solid desk! It is a legacy piece, last forever!
for soft woods get a wood conditioner, apply before the stain
I really like it. The design, the colors, how the video was made. Really like it.
Glad the portaband didn't bite you! Stay safe.
When you're using a water-based stain, it's better to use a cloth to wipe it on. You just dip part of it and keep wiping the surface until you have an even color.
Nice use of your Diresta ice pick as a pointer--love it! Always makes me smile to see them randomly pop up in everyone's videos🙂
grinding down those welds is not really a problem unless your building something critical needing to be up to code like a trailer hitch or putting up a building. your a good welder its not like you got cold lap in those passes. those people dont know how to fab a table like this lol ..people just like giving you trouble Jimbo!!!! always great content !! btw i got into the boilermaker local here in utah as an apprentice and id have to say watching your content inspired me to chase my dreams !! so yea man, thanks for your channel JG!!
To your comment about the welded tabs...I would elongate the holes and put the holes closer to the edge of the frame to help lessen the top movement you referenced.
Well done from France 🇫🇷
Jimbo I’ve got fireball tools squares they are great. I build a lot of fencing so bought Jason’s minion squares for spacing of the vertical bars, all of his tooling designs are excellent….now if I just afford one his welding tables!
Great job, looks awesome
The desktop looks so good, nice work JG 💪👌😏
Super Projet thanks
good job Jimbo, best regards from Venezuela
Turned out great Jimbo, awesome job! 😃👍🏼👊🏼
Nicely done Jimbo
Looks absolutely fantastic I really like that. Awesome work you do always enjoy the videos.
Great work. I’ve really been enjoying your videos.
You should definitely have a safety inline with that petal switch
Buen trajo. un saludo desde España
good job jimbo
greeting from germany berlin pankow
And I thought I was the only person who counted the welds need on some jobs.. We manufacture "mare and foal stocks" ( restraining cage for veterinary treatment).. requiring, 86 different pieces of metal tube /flats etc. 150 plus different welds and ( I have been told) a total of 146 of 8mm holes into 5mm flat.
Классный стол!!! Спасибо за видео!!!
Nice job....Drink a keystone after that!
Great video, did you use 220v or 110v? Also what machine? I’m looking into getting started welding myself.
Verry good n8ce to see that
Very nice, what brand are the flap discs?
It would be cool if you added subtitles in Portuguese to your videos, I really admire your work.
Or subtitles that translate works on
Linda demais
What blade are you using on that saw?
i keep a pvc sleeve on my kindle splitter. so i don’t fall and...
😮😊
🖖🖖🖖🖖 Jimbo
When it comes to water-based stain It requires To be put on by a rag with your bare hands no brushes
If wood surface was pre-conditioned you would have much less problem with drying.
Question what’s the pvc on the portaband for
Never mind question answered
Try to spray painting the stain.
Good frome México 👍👍💪💪🖖🖖🖖🖖
Sorry Good Morning from México
It means you got good penetration on your welds
I don't know, I think that this desk would have been even more perfect if you made two of them and then gave one of them to me, just saying.
