Fun fact, this isn't exclusive to Yareli. Your frame is not 100% invulnerable when you're in operator mode, they just have such a high damage resistance that most people believe they are, because nothing in normal missions will ever come close to killing them. Once the levels start getting high enough, you'll see just how quickly everything shreds you if you aren't careful. A lot of people were surprised when the circuit got released, saying that their operators kept going down due to a bug but nope.
you missed the most important part, you're invincible unless you have an active ability which then you get the DR instead. Be careful when trying to educate people

It's not a bug, Merulina is a toggle ability, & like all warframes, you only get 90% DR while in Operator/Drifter instead of being completely immune
