Must be rewarding to be not only in the top 5% of your profession, but then to have collector's of quality cars so proud that the have your work in their collection that they identify the ones Blair worked on. The guy is something special. You know this just by talking with the man. But how satisfying this vid must be for Blair. Long after you're gone my friend, people will still be bragging that they have a car with bodywork by Blair. Good on ya!! So glad that you are together with Mike. 2 Gems!
Awesome cars and trucks in his collection. I grew up a few blocks away from Mr. Norms Dealership in Chicago back in the 70s , My dad use to tell us about him .
Me to that garage is a dream garage. This guy house and cars probably worth $ millions I couldn't manage how much money he have in his property and them awesome cars
Nice collection, nice builds, with an eye for detail. For all the metal heads, spec quarter sawn white oak for your bed replacement. Same as used in whiskey barrels more stable with moisture. For bonus finish give it a ammonia vapor bath to patina age it like Stickley furniture. Carry on.
Starting in the early 1960s and continuing through the muscle car era, there was a very famous Dodge dealership based out of the west side of Chicago, Illinois, and it was called “Grand-Spaulding Dodge.”
Nice road wheels . Those were stock on the Superbird. I owned a 70 R,/T Charger.. 440 six pack, 4 speed Dana 60. My brother bought it from the original owner when he was stationed in Witchta Fall's texas in 77. Racer Brown roller cam 30 over TRW's. I know a couple of South Houston Police officers who will never forget it. Or any of our Mopars The Charger was Hemi Orange , vinyl top delete.
Gorgeous Nomad. Love to see her fully restored to her former glory. GM reprised the name in the early '70's, but the newer Chevy Nomad was kind of junky. My dad had three with his business...'72's. They were basically the Chevelle Nomad. They spent lots of time in the shop.
Mikes new shirt, Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah ! That's his way of saying he isn't paying attention because his AdHD kicked in he got distracted by something shiny
I recommend a behlen building for your next shop, cleaner look and cheaper to put up.... I also recommend making a drainage ditch out back to protect cars from Rock falls and water displacement... I'm a general contractor with 30 years experience...... ID take a car for partial payment......
The Nomad I think it was a 56 on Leno that white top and whatever red color it popped and the one they had on Counting Cars the white top and some sort of copper looked really good 55 I do believe,, I got to come back and finish the video And subscribe and share you guys have a great one man I can't wait to see that 1970 baby💯 but that brother has some beautiful whips that truck is amazing man 💯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💚😎👌🏼🗯💥🤙🏻🤙🏻🤝🏼
Mike... I miss rust bros on tv. But I bet I know why you stoped it. I also hope you are having your throat looked into. You, Avery, son and the girl showed what can be done. Be well. Live long and Prosper
I had the exact same car back in the day. Unfortunately I wrecked it. I bought it used for $1,000 dollars and it was a very nice car all around and I had lots of fun with it, which meant lots of tickets. I had it for almost 2 years before I wrecked it. The car spun around on an icy road and bounced off a bunch of trees. Body and frame were toast. However, the motor and drivetrain including the rear were not affected by the crash so I put an ad in the paper and ended up selling the whole car (he just wanted motor, etc, etc) to some guy for exactly what I paid for it... $1,000 dollars. Side note: Mine was not this color.
Mike, your friend is a true example of making it and still be a great person,
It shows!!! God bless you guys!!
