- Doing the laundry can also lead to microplastics polluting the water supply and oceans, as the particles are shed from certain kinds of fabrics. A group of researchers are working to create a device that can filter out the plastics from your washing machine.

The problem is that everything is made of plastic. I have trouble finding clothes made of natural materials.
Orrr… hear me out. We reduce the use of synthetic fibers all together and just step away from fast fashion. Crazy I know. 🤦🏽♀️

@@wakeup4332 I know. Capitalism rules. So therefore maximized profits supersede this. But when we all have cancer and other diseases (we’ve already reached a point where we’ve noted more cancer diagnosis than in past recordings) and are too busy spending money on that to worry bout shopping. Maybe then a change will happen.
I've gotten rid of all polyester and synthetic clothing, bedding, etc. I just use cotton and wool as much as possible. It's not easy but it can be done.

Car tire dust has been found in bottled drinking water.
Situation pretty hopeless.
Biggest amount is from tires on our streets!

It's true...been found in bottled drinking water. The tiny black particles baffled scientists for many years.

It is the binding product that holds the metallic material sprayed in the world's atmosphere. Once energized the whole product comes to the ground and into everything

The next question is how do we dispose of the microplastics once they are out of the laundry water? Won't that plastic just end up in a landfill somewhere?
Great, now we are all gong to need centrifuges for our drinking water.
Everything we do is creating more pollution
I live in a blue sanctuary city and not only are we fighting to keep plastic syringes off or our sidewalks but we're also experiencing fecal contamination issues from our tent communities that is causing an environmental impact on our water quality. It's so bad even our undocumented newcomers are absolutely terrified at what they're witnessing.

That look like fruity pebbles, now I'm hongry.. I mean all kidding aside, Dryers have lint traps so why not a plastic trap for washers. Do I have to think of everything and run the world? I'm so mentally exhausted. Can I get one to filter the bottled water I drink. I don't wanna turn into a Ken Doll.....that's not as handsome as Ryan Gosling and no one wants to buy. Someone play with me....anyone?
