Hi Sarah, glad to see a new video from you. As always a really detailed video and everything was explained very well. I bet there is a Subreddit about nursing requirements that would be another good place to promote these videos. Just an idea.
Thanks Mr.R! Im just soooooo busy because of this pandemic, what is subreddit?
@@NurseSai It's basically a forum on Reddit. There a tons of forums there where people discuss things and you can reach a lot of people. Here is an example: www.reddit.com/r/nursing/ I think that website is available for most people, I guess a small chance it's not available in your area.
@@youtubeblastoff ok im gonna try it Rich, thanks for sharing 😊
Hi Nurse Sai,
Thanks for the video. :)
When you claimed points for your education, did you have to go through NZQA for an assessment or did you only provide certified copies of your diploma/certs/etc? Thank you.
Thank u so much 😊
Thank you very much Nurse
You're welcome 😃
As of August 2020, the selection of EOI is suspended until further notice.
Hi loved the video, quick question.
I have 145 total points (195 if I get offered skilled employment in NZ). Should I apply with the existing points I have (145) or should I look for an offer for a skill employment. If I should, how can I go about it? Thank you
Hi My name is Pallavi i am nurse here in newzealand i have lodged my EOI via my lawyer last week tuesday. It has been more than a week they have not approved it yet. Also the point based PR system is gonna changed from 15.8.23. What shud i do??

Hi Sarah, i’m Linda, your new subscriber. Thank you for the detail information.
May i know, has your PR been granted during this pandemic?
Thank you for this useful video. Just want to ask if Essential Working Visa requires an EOI?
Sorry for the delayed respond. Eoi is for residence visa application. Thank you

Immigration Adviser's detail required for EOI
can't we submit on our own
Hey Deen, sorry for late reply yes you can, just check NZ Immigration website for more info. But if you have a complicated case then I suggest you use the service of an Immigration adviser.
Can I still submit my EOI event if I don't have my IELTS yet?
Better to wait for it so you could submit your docs in one go
Hi Sarah,
I hope you are well and safe. I was wondering if I can combine 2 OET results while applying for EOI. These results are valid till the next October and for sure I got B grade in four subtests by clubbing. I calculated my points and it is 200. I am hoping if you have a confirmed information regarding this issue because I did not find any available data about OET clubbing on the immigration website.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Mohamed Im not sure if this will be accepted. To verify, please feel free to call the hotline number of Immigration NZ it's available on google search and ask them directly. Sorry cant help you with this one
@@NurseSai No worries, thank you 😊
@@mohamedelfaioumy1817 you're welcome
Hi I am in the same boat just lodged for the EOI and cleared my OET with B grade in 2 attempts can you tell me is it acceptable or not ?
Hey Just out curiosity after submitting the EOI how long it took for you to get your residency ? Thank you 😊
Took 6 months, some people get it after a year or more, i got mine early because NZ needs nurses
@@NurseSai I’m applied through long term skill shortage that’s why , thank you 😊
How are u and ur family please I want to ask u something how much RN pay pa hour in hospital and RN pay working in age care
What if I only got 120 points, am I still allowed to submit EOI?
No, I have to Score at least 160 point
Nurse how to find a job offer do you know any agency that can help me
Hi Sarah, thank you for your video.
I am a bit disappointed; you said you don't want to depend on your employer; however, you got 50 points for skilled employment? Skilled employment means that your employer supports your application and you have to stay with him for two years. Am I wrong?
Hi Yana, I dont have to stay for 2 yrs with my employer because majority of my points were from my previous work experiences in my home country and from previous employments in NZ, if you've been working for a long time with your current employer to get more points and your employer sponsor your application then you have to stay with the employer atleast for 2 yrs.
Thanks
I am a Civil Engineer here in the PH for 4 years. It was always my dream to work and live and settle in NZ. I was try to get my points high. But I couldn’t im stuck in 120 I already have IELTS band score of 6.5. Can you help?
Find an employer here who can support your work visa, it will be hard to apply for resident visa straight away because of the points, you really need to work or study here to get more points
Okay Ma’am, but Ive read about NZQA? Can I get NZQA to get my scores high enough?
Nurse Sai, as what you have said, ang OET ko kasi is nakuha ko in combination of 2 sitting, ttanggapin po ba ito ng Immigration kpag mg apply ako ng EOI? Please enlighthen me. -Mr. De Jesus-
Hello, safe to say to call NZ Immigration directly na, kasi baka madami ng nagbago na reqts kasi itong application ko before covid pa. Sorry cant help much with this
Hi Sarah,
I submitted EOI in April 20. Now SMC draws stopped due to Covid 19.
Wanted to know should I wait for EOI selection or withdraw it to save money
Hi Ganesh, will they stop the draw permanently? If not, then wait for it just be patient, i know it's hard but just wait and see
@@NurseSai Hi, Thanks for immediate response ..
They kept on hold for few months..
@@ganeshmaske3876 ok, just wait for it 🙏
Hi Ganesh, you applied on your own or through any immigration agent?
@@falgunimesvaniya5288 by own.
It is simple no need to spend on consultant
Thanks Ms Sai so need pa pala magtake ng OET/IELTS kahit naka 190 pts kana to meet the requirements as Nurse .panu po pag di mo nameet ang points kunwari may C+ ganun
Sa OET naman kung ano ang nabagsak na subtest yun lang naman ang uulitin po
How much it cost, if you apply for through immigration agent. How much they cost with visa??
With my resident visa application it costs almost 2000 Nzd
How much ielts score is required for newzealand immigration?
7.0 if im not mistaken, for OET should be all B
How many days will take to get EOI
It depends on the Immigration officer who will be assigned with your application, I got mine in less than a week after submitting my EOI application.
Hi.. New subbie here.. How long it took from the time you study until you applied for Residency..?
I studied here in 2016, im still waiting for my residence visa, application process takes longer at this time due to Covid 😔🙏
@@NurseSai ohh good luck po.. And congrats in adv.

Hi Sarah, Is 30hrs per week part time permanent job all right for residency application?
Should be full time job as far as i know. Thanks
Thanks for your reply! I thought 30hrs would be considered fulltime. So being confused about this!
32-40hrs plus it should be in your contract, Immigration will check document about this. Call Immigration directly as well to confirm if part time job is ok
@@NurseSai Thanks very much! and thank you for your videos!
