Both Tier Lists have good reviews and I agree especially on the S Tier because my favorite superchargers are Spitfire, Thrillipede and High Volt

Whoa whoa whoa, hang on there. You've never met someone who has Nightfall as their favorite skylander? Well allow me to rectify that.
Nightfall is not a skylander for everyone, (er most people) but don't discount her just because she isn't easy. Her moves are a challenge to get the hang of, but for those of us who really take the time to get the hang of her, Nightfall becomes one of the most powerful characters in the Superchargers lineup. She's an evasive character, not a heavy assailant. It's about timing her moves to strike, duck, dash, ambush. I've managed to beat the Imaginaters arena challenge (highest difficulty) with her multiple times. (That's a challenging with any non-imaginator character).
Beyond her in-game playability, Nightfall is a complex character. She can be moody and callous, not one to sugarcoat things, but she cares for those around her. She feels deeply, so she'll often put up a front. That's the short of it, anyway.
And yeah, her design is top notch. Scary as heck but also elegant. She really conveys the 'alien of the sea' aesthetic.
