  • In this video, we are taking a close look at the Lynx Professional Series. The Grill we have here today is the 36 inch All Trident Ceramic Infrared Burner model.
    This model offers the benefits of ceramic infrared across the entire grill surface - fuel efficiency, quick preheat times and even heat distribution. Lynx Infrared Trident burners have an innovative variable temperature design, allowing them to not only reach 1,000 degrees for searing temps - these infrared burners can be set to a low of 300F.

    - A roasting pan is also included, perfect for cooking up an easy side to complete your meal.

    Under what circumstances would one choose a ceramic burner vs a Trident infrared burner?

    What are your thoughts on the all trident version vs a trident with the rest the ceramic burner + briquettes? If I were to go all trident would I be missing out on what that ceramic option might offer, or in your opinion is it just worth it to go all trident that can basically do everything better? Thanks.

      My personal opinion would be to go with the hybrid. The main reason is for having better capabilities for lower heat cooking. The trident burners are able to turn down, but not as much heat deflection and dispersion as using the conventional burners.

      @@BBQGuys Thanks appreciate the great video and the response. I've seen some people advocate the all trident configuration, which seems pretty cool, though I feel like the hybrid option (as you say) would just cover more bases. Thanks.

    When did lynx stop making the grills and firebox out of 304 stainless?

    • @BBQGuys
      @BBQGuys  4 года назад

      Portions are 304 stainless, that is why we do the XRF test because companies are constantly evolving and we want you to know what you are getting. We do not know an exact timeline of when this change happened, sorry.

    Is it bad that the inside is 201 and not 304 stainless steel?

      Hi Michael - The 201 stainless steel on the interior is 11 mil thick, which is fairly robust, and it's important to note that Lynx backs it with a lifetime warranty. Thanks for watching!

      Just fact-checked myself. It's actually closer to 10 mil thick.
