I cannot wait to watch the Trial by Seven of Duncan the Tall and years down the road I can’t wait to see the Second Blackfyre Rebellion absolutely lose steam before it got off the ground lol. Super excited for this 🤘🏽
It might be a good thing they’re not going past the events of the book because we all know what happened last time lol but I’m quite surprised to learn it’s going to be 1 story per season and that’s going to be stretched to 6 episodes? I actually thought it was going to be 6 episodes but it would span all 3 stories so far with 2 episodes for each one. The stories themselves are only 100 pages and roughly each GOT episode covered 80 pages at a time so it seems a bit of a stretch to do an entire season with 6 episodes based off only 1 story. Unless they’re shorter episodes like 20 minutes. Idk what extra you could fill it with, it’s pretty contained but I wouldn’t mind seeing flashbacks to Duncan being raised up throughout the show. That could work and make the opening more emotional on rewatch though I would’ve thought I’d have heard somewhere about a young Duncan being cast if that was the case and I haven’t come across it so I doubt it. But honestly I would’ve liked them to wrap all the existing stories up in only 6 episodes whether that was just for 1 season or over multiple because I think these characters and stories they have really lends itself to an episodic style of series of different adventures across Westeros as they travel about
The guy who read the books on RUclips before he got copyrighted into removing them was awesome I wish I could find them again so I could let my grandson listen to them
I was looking forward to what they once called "The Long Night." I would love to see a cinematic take on the history. Also looking forward to seeing Aegon the Conqueror to Meagor and Balerian war against The Faith of the 7. In a perfect world 20 years from now we have 10 spinoffs with 3-6 seasons of each! One can dream!!!!
Anything and everything Game of Thrones is what i want to see next 😂 As long as they keep it going, and keep new series coming I'll be watching, and happy doing it. But i really want to see Aegons' conquest and Robert's rebellion
If they do each book as its own season they will have at least 3 seasons. My guess is if they get a 4th book from George R. Martin then great but if he doesn't (which there is a strong possibility he won't) what they should do is take his synopsis and outline for the other books and combine TWO of them to create 1 season. So that means the "The Village Hero" & "She Wolves Of Winterfell" would be combined together to be cohesive story-season, you could even title them as the starting and finishing episodes. So could "The Sellsword" & "The Champion" be combined together to be 1 season and likewise do the same for "The Kingsguard" & "The Lord Commander". That would give the entire series order 6 seasons in total which is a great number to end on for modern television when you consider the production time and cost. All of us die hard book fans all know how the series should end with Aegon performing an egg hatching ceremony and the fire at Summerhall and Dunk in his old age saving his family line.
would be dope to see a series on the dawn age or even earlier to show more of the children of the forest and the giants and then when the first men came into the age of heroes until the andals came but a show about ancient Valyria would be cool to see too
I agree, in my opinion, I think with HOTD at its high point they should start off with “Aegon, the Conqueror” or start from Valeria leading to the great doom. Just my 2cents to see how it all started would be just fascinating especially how Aegon united the Seven Kingdoms
I think they should start with his rise to the lord of Dragonstone and his fight in Essos, then leading up to the actual invasion. Even feature some of his visits around the continent before building the map he will later used.
They can make films and series about the entire "GOT" world while they're at it. From the when The Known World was created and what happened after Got season 8 and so on😏
Casting looks amazing from what I can remember. It has been awhile. I think i really remember liking The first and third and not caring much for a sworn sword. Not sure that would be that interesting of a season unless i am forgetting things. Would that be fair to say?
Robert's Rebellion would make an excellent Series. We'd get to see Ed's Older brother and father die. and if Nikolaj Coster-Waldau could reprise his role as Jamie Lannister and Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister that would be amazing.
If this is a success, which I think it’ll be. I would love to see a live-action adaptation of the rule of Ageon the unworthy and the subsequent Blackfyre rebellion
Roberts rebellion really should have been the first show they released if they wanted to keep the hype of of GoT going. HoTD is great but having characters you already know would have been much easier for a first time fantasy viewer to keep watching.

But honestly I would’ve liked them to wrap all the existing stories up in only 6 episodes whether that was just for 1 season or over multiple because I think these characters and stories they have really lends itself to an episodic style of series of different adventures across Westeros as they travel about
I am looking forward to seeing this on my tv screen and still hoping for Robert’s Rebellion and a series of Aegon The Conqueror.
I would love to see Robert’s Rebellion. That would be awesome!!
The guy who read the books on RUclips before he got copyrighted into removing them was awesome I wish I could find them again so I could let my grandson listen to them
You can probably find the audiobooks on RUclips.
"Hold us over till the Winds of Winter" lol, thats a joke right?
Hey, it's the sin eater from Fargo @ 5:03! Love this character. :D
Dunc and egg is my favorite part from the got lore! Can’t wait to see this
I was looking forward to what they once called "The Long Night." I would love to see a cinematic take on the history. Also looking forward to seeing Aegon the Conqueror to Meagor and Balerian war against The Faith of the 7. In a perfect world 20 years from now we have 10 spinoffs with 3-6 seasons of each! One can dream!!!!
I can imagine the end of Dunk and Eggs story being really well done cinematically.
We are never getting Winds of Winter
This one will always be the best Game of Thrones .. it had heart!
So when is George gonna finish the books?
would be dope to see a series on the dawn age or even earlier to show more of the children of the forest and the giants and then when the first men came into the age of heroes until the andals came but a show about ancient Valyria would be cool to see too
I want to see eagon the conqueror spin off! That’s what I’m waiting for.
I agree, in my opinion, I think with HOTD at its high point they should start off with “Aegon, the Conqueror” or start from Valeria leading to the great doom. Just my 2cents to see how it all started would be just fascinating especially how Aegon united the Seven Kingdoms
A series covering the conquest was recently green lit.
I think they should start with his rise to the lord of Dragonstone and his fight in Essos, then leading up to the actual invasion. Even feature some of his visits around the continent before building the map he will later used.
@@Phizzo4real I agree.
As excited as I am for this it hurts a little knowing it will push back S3 of HOTD to 2026. But I can’t wait to watch D&E brought to the screen
I doubt HoTD was ever targeting 2025 to begin with
waiting for new video of you talking about *week ahead trailer* for episode 2, coming soon i hope?
Next!
like i have waited for this so longgggg
They can make films and series about the entire "GOT" world while they're at it. From the when The Known World was created and what happened after Got season 8 and so on😏
Cant wait to see that whole mystery night story come to life
Maybe within November first teaser for this show can be expected.
What i would love to see is a series about a young and ambitious tywin Lannister.
Excited to see Maekar. I’ve always loved that Targaryen for some reason.
I wanted jon snow. I wanted the ending to be fixed. So sad
What about Aegon the Conqurer?
Are you not exited about that?
Ya
Casting looks amazing from what I can remember. It has been awhile. I think i really remember liking The first and third and not caring much for a sworn sword. Not sure that would be that interesting of a season unless i am forgetting things. Would that be fair to say?
Robert's Rebellion would make an excellent Series. We'd get to see Ed's Older brother and father die. and if Nikolaj Coster-Waldau could reprise his role as Jamie Lannister and Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister that would be amazing.
Making Nikolai, who is 53, look like a 16 year old would be nearly impossible without looking really weird. Charles dance is more realistic
Ur dump
I hope we see at least 6 seasons of this show and the episode count gets to 8 or 10 in the future if season 1 does well enough.
Roberts Rebellion would get me so hype. I can’t even explain.
i hope running 2 parallel shows from the same universe doesn't end up being an overkill.
I hope Martin makes it through the next 5 yrs. He seems he is really enjoying life. But from a health perspective.....
I am predicting that that picture of Dunc is when he meets Tanselle.
It might be. The area he's in looks active. Maybe the tourny grounds?
@@TalkingThrones The area looks kind of like a tourney to me and you can see the shield on his back.
Edit: mistake
I wonder which house they will make black in this one just because
If this is a success, which I think it’ll be. I would love to see a live-action adaptation of the rule of Ageon the unworthy and the subsequent Blackfyre rebellion
Can't wait. GOT season 7 and 8, is nothing but a vague memory to me now...
Roberts rebellion really should have been the first show they released if they wanted to keep the hype of of GoT going. HoTD is great but having characters you already know would have been much easier for a first time fantasy viewer to keep watching.
I can’t wait for this! I hope they do it justice!
Doom of Valarya and Aegons conquest are the only 2 shows i want to see out game of thrones
