  • Dan Orlovsky has gotten shade for saying Jayden should be the first pick. I’m not here to tell you who the Bears, Commanders, or Patriots should draft. But when smart people make strong statements like that, I gotta check the tape.

    I'm only halfway through this video, but this is the best breakdown of his game. I'm getting tired of hearing about him having two great receivers. Like you said Burrow had two great ones. Last year Stroud had three. At the end of the day, they all benefit each other.

    • @SwivelHippie
      @SwivelHippie Месяц назад +1

      He had 3 great receivers, Lacy will be a 1st rounder next year. He also had an awesome O-Line. 2 of them are projected 1st rounders.

      @SwivelHippie Burrow? Hey, I'm not the only one saying this. Your commenting on a video that pro Daniels. The negatives on Daniels is his size and his weapons. Like he's not going to have NFL receivers in the NFL. Your take is weak. Worry about the guy that has terrible feet and slow release. He has more work to do than Daniels.

    • @GlRTHBR00KS
      @GlRTHBR00KS Месяц назад +2

      yup, i try to tell people the same thing. like, those receivers are as good as they are partially because they had a great QB. and then people try to act like he's not coming into a team that already has NFL proven star receivers, namely terry.

    Remember 1985 Randall Cunningham (6’4” 215 lbs) & now look at Jayden Daniels (6’4” 210 lbs)!!!! Both had similar 40 yard dash times too. But Daniels is light years ahead in pro system development than Cunningham was coming out college!!!
    Is JD like Randall but with the ability to play from pocket in the NFL? No way I’d take Caleb Williams over Jayden Daniels. But who am I? Yeah nobody but that also means I can’t get fired by fantasy football team.
    Expounding on my nobody knowledge, while some college QBs are bailed out by the best WRs & O-lines, I’ve always thought that the truly exceptional QBs like Joe Burrow LEARN from NFL caliber WRs in college & learn from everything they do. Burrow left Ohio State & kept learning in the LSU system & JD transferred to LSU & has done the same. Both Heisman winners. Both got better each year. But Daniels has the extra ability to get yards with his legs. I hope that wherever he goes that his OC & QB coach has JD under center. Really want to see JD flourish in the very best situation after seeing JP vouch for him.

    • @SwivelHippie

      @@Redskin4ever Yes no doubt that the amazing highlight show could be shut down by a disciplined playoff defense with real coaching. Your Redskins always great game plans. Joe Gibbs winning 3 SBs with 3 different QBs is the most impressive stat & he really changed playoff football in the NFL. Cunningham was fun to watch but the Eagles never figured out what to do with him. His best chance at a SB was with the 1998 Vikings.
      I’m wondering if Caleb Williams is all that he says then why isn’t Kliff Kingsbury doing all he can to get Williams. Something going on with that. Anyway, good luck this season. 🍀👍

    I saw Jayden throw the first time on his Pro Day (PD). I watched it multiple times because it was so fun to watch him throw. He has a tight, compact throwing motion with a quick release and a strong arm. He was dropping it in a bucket at 60 yards and driving intermediate throws nearly like Rodgers. So then I watched some of his game highlights and I already knew he could throw but he was routinely making mailbox throws during games, but then I saw his wheels and started laughing. Man, it’s like taking Marino and making him nearly as good of a runner as Lamar. But I think that Jayden has a shot to be the best dual-threat guy ever. (Vick was really good too but i like Jayden’s passing mechanics better than Vick’s)
