Uncletaco supreme that's because they see the stuff sell at auctions and there is a misconception that everything bought at auctions is cheaper than if it were bought for a fixed price so they add a couple extra hundred dollars

I was waiting for my SLK Mercedes to be serviced down the road at a garage so walked into main shopping area to waist time ! Saw an OXFAM shop and in I whent , going through the jackets I noticed a black full lenth leather PARKA type overcoat with a hood and huge pockets , when I looked it said £50 ,a lot in a secondhand shop ! I put it down and walked off to go back to get the car , as soon as I sat in the car something inside said go and buy that coat so I drove the car back into town and walked in and paid £50 .....Got home and put it on , stunning looking coat ! Opened it up and inside was a POLO Purple label , I Emailed Ralph Lorren that day and they replied the next day , it was a genuine coat and valued at £28,000 ........I still have it now 10 years later ! ....KEEP LOOKING IN THOSE SHOPS PEOPLE !

He says "that's the problem with people, they judge books by their covers (referring to himself) and never want to read anything." Same LOL, my sister has a huge book shelf with a massive amount of books and is a BIG bookworm and I used to joke around that I was going to sell all of her books.
I have the pyrex dish in the thumbnail and the Golden Butterfly set in this video. My mother and I collect these. They are worth a lot of money and you can find them at yard sales for just pocket change. Very fun to collect.
My sister gave me a set of 4 Pyrex bowls that nestled inside each other, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 blue, and 1 red. Not sure what they are worth because I love those bowls and won't ever sell them.....but.....she runs an auction company so she knows full well the dollar value of them. Great list and interesting topic.
I litterally had almost every single one of these things until a few years back. I was robbed. Also my mom threw away a cooler I had and it was full of old toys. It had my furbies and tomagatchis and so much more.
its $5,000 but if its in perfect condition with the box and everything inside $10,000 to $20,000 lol im jk you can get $400 for it if its damaged and $800 if its refurbished
I have 2 first edition Harry Potter books and hid them away to sell them years later. My sister wanted to take hers to uni and threw it out so guess who’s lost a bunch of money bc of her idiocy
LOL good! Pyrex is a really good brand too, they last for freaking ever. My mom's got a great antique collection, and she just loves them because they're so old, she'd never sell anything 😂
I have a set of them, too. From my MIL... the opaque type that he described with flowers on them... avocado green. I’ll never part with them. Loved that pinkish set they show in this video!! 😍😍😍
My kids wanted to bury a “time capsule”. One of the items in it is a Pokémon card (don’t remember which one...it was my 9 year old’s card). Now we can’t find where we buried it to save our lives. My youngest son came for dinner one night recently and dug about 4 holes again. Still no luck! He left the holes for me to refill too. ☹️😁
We bought 2 things that go with Minecraft Earth last Christmas. Since they decided they'd shut down the app this year, I've decided to keep the 2 items, still in their packaging, as collection pieces, since only so many got sold, and those who bought any were told they could be refunded by giving back what they bought. So I already know in the future these might be worth more than they were at Target, and they weren't exactly that cheap as a toy for an mobile AR app. Oh, the old classic movies on VHS are valuable too and my dad and step mom had 2 totes full of vhs tapes. My jaw dropped! I'm hoping we can get one of those vhs to dvd things, so we can more easily watch the movies. Soooo many classics were in those totes. It brought joy cuz all of the ones I had years ago got stolen from our storage. Some aren't easily replacable cuz I had recorded (tv with built in vhs player) Steve Irwin's funeral. That was a vhs tape I wanted to keep for as long as possible and put on dvd. And I keep certain valuable things as a last resort kinda thing. I roughly know the worth of the items, they'd help put a roof back over us for about 2 months, would be longer if rent prices would stop increasing since folks job incomes aren't!
I used to buy stuff at garage sales and thrift stores to resell on Ebay. I bought a Case XX grapefruit knife for .25 cents at a thrift store. I sold it for $160 dollars. It was the original knife used to make Freddie Kruger's glove and "Fred Heads" will pay handsomely to get enough to make an original glove like Freddy's. At one thrift store I was interested in a set of chess pieces. I play chess and I knew it was a premium set. But, two of the pieces were missing. But, the set was only $1.00 so I bought it. I sold the wooden box they were in for $50. It was a nice hardwood box with dovetail corners and the maker's name branded on it. Then I sold the individual pieces on Ebay for between $5.00 to $25.00 dollars each, depending on which piece it was. Pawns were $5.00 dollars and the King or Queen fetched $25.00 each. I've bought "Milkglass" pieces at yard sales that sold for a dollar and sold them for $10 dollars or more. I would deal in things that I personally knew about, but I researched other things as I found them. I passed on a deal for a Remington ax at a yard sale because I had never heard of one. After getting home I researched it and found it was worth a lot more than the $2.00 the guy was selling it for (it had a broken handle). I rushed back, but someone had already bought it. Win a few, lose a few. Good luck finding your own "treasures."
If your mum is interested I have a bunch that belonged to my grandma and mum. I'm no expert but I think they are worth looking. If you are interested I can send you some pics.
Don't even mention Pyrex! My grandmother had a crap ton of it and I'm trying to replace her Cinderella bowls. I was ten when she passed away so nobody was going to listen to me and she had the pink Cinderella set!
I've always been very fascinated by the idea of VALUE and what people consider valuable.I saw that same exact Harry Potter book being given away at a church last summer and I didn't take it,but I don't beat myself up over crap like that anymore.
I knew off a guy in Florida who'd go around the local golf courses and collect the golf balls left lying around, clean them up in an old Maytag and sell them back to country clubs by the bucket. (He made "good" money!)
I had an original GAME BOY I bought used from the city newspaper classifieds back in 1990 (remember those?) 4 years ago I finally decided to sell it. I figured with today’s smartphone’s and gaming systems, this primitive device would be almost worthless, especially since it’s the all time best selling handheld game system in history. I would be lucky to get $25, so I thought. I went on eBay and found it was worth a lot more, especially since I kept all the original box, foam, manuals, paper inserts etc and they were in good (not mint) shape. The GAME BOY itself had 3-4 blank lines in the LCD display. I listed it on eBay 100% honestly disclosing all of this up front, like I always do, because I never want any buyer to receive an item and feel that I deceived them or ripped them off. I also know how to write a well-marketed listing increasing the perceived value and appealing to the likely buyer. My ad started something like “It’s 1989 all over again.. When you lift the cardboard flap to this original GAME BOY box, and pull out the foam.. get ready for that childhood dream to finally come true.” Based off Sold Items I believed I could get as high as $150 for it (which was definitely on the high end of similar complete-in-box used, sold items). I was surprised it sold for my asking price in a matter of days! I was astounded! The best part is: THE BUYER THANKED ME UP AND DOWN FOR SELLING IT TO HIM! Here I was feeling borderline guilty for making out like a bandit (or so I thought), and he’s sincerely grateful to have the opportunity. He explained that he had a GAME BOY when he was a kid, and he visited his relatives in Brazil on a family trip. His cousins were quite poor, and after seeing how utterly delighted they were with his game boy, he decided to give it to them - an incredible act of generosity in my opinion. He said he just knew it would mean so much more to them. Now, grown up, he said he always longed for that game boy and that’s what lead him to my listing, and why he was willing to pay $150 for mine with the complete box and everything. PS: I did a pretty thorough Completed Listings search and I’m pretty certain the $150 I got was in probably the top 5% highest anybody was getting for a similar condition game boy.
I have both of the floral Pyrex bowls/dishes.... Also have an 8×8 i think it is of a casserole floral dish with the glass lid. Got them all from my grandmother. 🤔🤓❤
Unless it’s a 2005 or Kid Cuisine or something. And even then, a lot of people selling them sell them for cheap, so why would us furby collectors spend more money than we need to when we can get the same model for cheaper?
Often times, e-Bay sellers are pricing their "junk" high and claiming "it's rare!" (Or it's a Chinese counterfeit.) Before you buy e-Bay, look for the item in the "SOLD" section first.
Remember that condition is the crucial factor for these items. It is VERY unlikely that if you happen to have one of the things in this video, it will be in the condition that would bring these prices.
I see prices like this all the time on ebay but no selling. What someone asks for and what they actually get are worlds apart.

My good friend recently passed on,back in January,
(Friday the 13th,
R.I.P. C.G.).
I was left everything in his home, which contained many rarities, soon to be listed on ebay.
Some things I'm keeping, though,as he had alotta cool items, his mom had collected ,too, that he was unaware of em being in his house.I miss him daily, but having these items will keep his memory alive for me !
Cherish your friends while they're still with us !
With it being on Friday the 13, with no month or year listed, this is most likely a lie, don’t believe everything you see on the internet!
No joke I dropped and broke one of my mom’s Pyrex bowls a few years ago.

it’s mom’s.
@Miles Daugherty its mom's because the apostrophe shows ownership.

THAT HARRY POTTER BOOK IS LEGIT IN MY CLASSROOM OMG 😂
Brenda Eckert steel the book so u can be RICH
sorry to burst your bubble, but it's more than likely second or third edition. i have one and it looks exactly the same but it's really not worth more than £30 since it's second edition
Ellie Ledsham oh
Brenda Eckert steal it sum how
I have all the 1st edition Harry potter and have barely been touched
I'm standing in the queue of a McDonald's in south London and a homeless man walks in and offers the mother and daughter in front of me an old copy of a Harry Potter book, he didn't even ask for money. She refuses in the rudest way embarrassing the poor man so I offer to take it and give him some change. He says "that's the problem with people, they judge books by their covers (referring to himself) and never want to read anything." Turns out it was an early addition and could have some value in the future 😊
Wow! i found a furby from 1998 with the tag still on it, i didnt know it was worth anything. i only bought it bc it was different looking. anyways i put it away in the garage somewhere. guess i'll dig it up and put it on EBAY☺
Thanks to this video I turned a $1 yard sale item into a $20 profit, Thanks Be Amazed!👍💎🏦💵💰💲
Thank you! I actually looked any spare old toys and i found this: A spongebob toy that i bought 7 years ago for 1$ and only 3000 copies exist in my knowledge. It is unopened, but in bad condition by the passing of time. Today it should cost 50$, but in a few decaded it can reach 1000$+
OMG I HAVE THE FIRST EDITION HARRY POTTER! Didn’t even realise
Congrats 😊
My family does to
Lucky
Send me it for £10000 jk I don’t have that much money
Same LOL, my sister has a huge book shelf with a massive amount of books and is a BIG bookworm and I used to joke around that I was going to sell all of her books.

So my ripped harry potter book is actually the reason my dad is homeless?
I litterally had almost every single one of these things until a few years back. I was robbed. Also my mom threw away a cooler I had and it was full of old toys. It had my furbies and tomagatchis and so much more.
Hey be amazed how much does a polaroid sx-70 land camera cost tell me in the next vid and also nice vids
$2 no tax
its $5,000 but if its in perfect condition with the box and everything inside $10,000 to $20,000
lol im jk you can get $400 for it if its damaged and $800 if its refurbished
I have a polaroid model 160 land camera. I would sell it.
I have 2 first edition Harry Potter books and hid them away to sell them years later. My sister wanted to take hers to uni and threw it out so guess who’s lost a bunch of money bc of her idiocy
You are not alone. I had 2 original american girl dolls and same thing happened with my idiot sister ruining things
Love your videos never give up what you are doing
Half of the video games I owned as a kid and sold decades ago. I’m crying on the inside.
I HAVE THE OLD PYREX DISHES FROM THE 50'S MY MOM IS 83 AND SHE HAS A SET TOO ! THE OLD MEASURING CUPS ALSO WE HAVE . NOT SELLING , KEEPING THEM .
I recently just sold a vintage black lotus card from alpha, I had it for the years and I have never touch it, I made $27000 out of this rarity
bruh
My kids wanted to bury a “time capsule”. One of the items in it is a Pokémon card (don’t remember which one...it was my 9 year old’s card). Now we can’t find where we buried it to save our lives. My youngest son came for dinner one night recently and dug about 4 holes again. Still no luck! He left the holes for me to refill too. ☹️😁
you forgot one magic the gathering Black lotus
Or Ancestral Recall.

Furbys are so cute!!! And I saw that LEGO set and it was not so cheap
6:55 So now I know why my art teacher wouldn’t let me and my classmates touch that flower she claimed was rare
Don't even mention Pyrex! My grandmother had a crap ton of it and I'm trying to replace her Cinderella bowls. I was ten when she passed away so nobody was going to listen to me and she had the pink Cinderella set!
No one is making that much retrieving golf balls.
I am always amazed at what people will buy
I've always been very fascinated by the idea of VALUE and what people consider valuable.I saw that same exact Harry Potter book being given away at a church last summer and I didn't take it,but I don't beat myself up over crap like that anymore.
No thank God ypu didn't take it its fully demonic.
Oh my lord we have that Harry Potter book!,
Me too!👌😋

Thanks im now a millionaire
Glad to know that my mother's Harry potter books are so valuable, as well as my misprinted Nya minifigure head.
Who gets things then doesn’t open the box????
Always
did he seriously talk about golf balls for 3 minutes
And rocks that look meat and meat that looks like rocks. Like if anyone has those things in their garage or attic!
I knew off a guy in Florida who'd go around the local golf courses and collect the golf balls left lying around, clean them up in an old Maytag and sell them back to country clubs by the bucket. (He made "good" money!)
Me when I see original Harry Potter is valuable: * goes to eBay *
When you lift the cardboard flap to this original GAME BOY box, and pull out the foam.. get ready for that childhood dream to finally come true.”
Based off Sold Items I believed I could get as high as $150 for it (which was definitely on the high end of similar complete-in-box used, sold items).
Pyrex is AMAZING!!! It’s priceless when you USE them!!!🤩. Why sell them?!?!
1 of my friends got the very first philosophers stone copy ever! (and it was signed she) She got it from a yard sale for $10.
I remember having two golf balls before when I was about 11 or so one was white and the other was red
My old friend has that Harry potter book, I must find out where he lives and get that book
I regret not buying a furby i saw available for a few bucks at goodwill today... it was a newer model, but it may have been worth a lot.
I have both of the floral Pyrex bowls/dishes.... Also have an 8×8 i think it is of a casserole floral dish with the glass lid. Got them all from my grandmother. 🤔🤓❤
It’s interesting how on the card the word “illustrator” is in English but everything else is in Japanese
Furbys boxed are not worth that much like 50 dollars on Ebay this is bs click bait
