- Because I had to leave my beloved motorcycle "Dhanno" behind in Peru, while I was repatriated to my home country The Netherlands - I decided to record a series of videos in The Netherlands and this is the first one!
I hope you enjoy it!

Hi, I am a 70 year old grandpa who is confined to a wheelchair and as such i cannot travel any more. So I look forward to your travels and videos. Keep up the good work and hope to see you rejoin your quest soon. Bye from Canada.
I´m 9 years behind, Grandpa. While I still ride my motorcycle, I´m looking forward to watching young people making the ride of their lives from my own wheelchair, just like you do now. Take care!!
I am 53 yrs old... but I am living in besiege Gaza .. so I can't travel ... Norlay showing me the world 😍😍
@@ghassanat Sad day today for Palestinian people!!Lots of love to Beautiful Palestine..
That idiot again?

"Good morning internet" and "let's go" is like music to my ears.
We missed you Noraly!
Welcome back.
LOVE ALL YOUR VLOGS, YOU MAKE MY DAY A LOT POSITIVE THANKS WITH LOVE FROM INDIA
Also, thanks for the drone footage....quite a perspective on the landscape!
Love it!!
Thank you so much for this quick tour of the Netherlands. My Dad spent time in Holland in 1944 with Canadian 4th Armoured Division. He was in Boxtel for some time and still remembers a lady he met there. He will be 99 in July! My Uncle was killed in 1945, and is buried in Nijmegen. Love your channel, safe travels!
🇳🇱😘🇨🇦
"Good morning Internet"... Oh I boy we missed it... Good to see you back 🤩
Still as a newbie to your videos in 2022, I’m still enjoying your latest geography and history lessons from your home town Noraly. Enjoying them as you tube introduces them rather than starting from the very beginning. Odd!! but I like it that way.
I worked in The Netherlands for a year and it was the most enjoyable job of my career. The Netherlands is the only place I have seriously wanted to emigrate to, from England. Outside of Amsterdam I saw no litter, no graffiti, no rubbish, no pollution. What a lovely lovely place. It is wonderful to be riding a bicycle and all the traffic stops for you because bicycles have the right of way everywhere, and all roads have bicycle lanes. I hope I have got that right!
Another very well put together video! I couldn’t help but notice how clean your country is with no trash along the sidewalks or roadways! Shows the world how much your fellow countrymen love and care for their country. Thanks for the history lesson as well and the drone shots. I, for one, learned a lot today from your video.
This comment is from March 2024 even though this is an older video. I searched for motorcycling in the Netherlands who else would pop up than Noraly!?!?! She looks the same today!!! Awesome videos Noraly and I must visit the Netherlands someday to bike and ride…and boat…. It looks like a beautiful country!!!!!!!!!! 😊❤😊
Proud off our country, thanks Noraly, for showing the familiar places from an other angle. Nice to read the reactions from all the followers
Good to see you again on road. As motorcyclist, geographer and teacher, I think your trips are an rich material about landscapes and people. Here in Brazil the schools and universities are closed. I sended some of your videos to my students, and they loved, we talk about phisical and cultural aspects that we saw on videos, so I like to say thank you for this amazing project. Be well, ride safe.
The fact that you watch itchy boots channel with your students as material in lessons is fantastic. And a smart move on your behalf to keep them interested 😏😎👍
I hadn't realized how much I missed watching you and your travels! You have a wonderfully positive and cheerful personality that we all find addicting, and combined with one of my favorite pastimes, makes for some fantastic viewing. Your videos helped me get through a northern US winter, and I'm happy to say that I'm back on the road now with my BMW 650gs.
It was an awesome idea to show us some of your country and I'm very much looking forward to what's next!
I loved this adventure ride with you, Norlay! The Netherlands is such a wonderful country! You’re a wonderful ambassador! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Isn,t she !
Itchy Boots could make a video about walking the dog and I would sit and watch it while having lunch
Who else also enjoyed today's awesome Dutch history class by Noraly..?😀😀
My wife and I recently discovered your videos and have been binge watching them from our home because of the stay at home order here in Rhode Island. We are loving your adventures and are grateful for all the work you do producing your videos. We admire your multi-lingualness. Your English is great!
Great that you show our small country to the world. I love this myself. And thank you for responding to my suggestion. I am sure I was not the only one.
I started to miss her videos! Finally she's on the road again! The Netherlands are beautiful, too! I have yet to discover the whole country.
Best regards from Northern Germany!
Moinmoin ;)
At least your map shows GERMANY, maybe the wrong colours? 🤔
@@jensstahlschmidt2183 Tbh.
I'm liking this new incarnation of yours as travel vlogger :) Of course, you were traveling before, but now you are giving us more of the history. I can see you incorporating more of this type of information along with some cultural aspects and natural history of the places you visit when you continue your journeys abroad, although I've watched ALL your videos from both series and can honestly say that just sharing your personal experiences and perceptions along the way has been absolutely delightful as a viewer. Heel erg bedankt!! :)
AWESOME Video!!.... So glad you took me & the wife along. So much history, SO much beauty!. AND All in you own back yard. Who needs to travel the world!....lol
Heck, anyone can make an ordinary vlog, We love it when you can throw in a helping of history OR Geology! Makes the whole thing worth it & 10X more interesting!, THX for sharing, You Go Girl!
Woke up this morning and I thought “gee I miss my Itchy Boots hit” AND there she was! Nice one Noraly. Keep up the good work...
I would put a smile 😊 but look at the moon that's how big it really is!
Finally....this video about your country is one of the videos that I have been waiting for!! ...you have such a beautiful country!!!.. Thanks.. Oh, one more thing, you looking lovely these days!!!...Thanks again!!!
Hi Noraly, I am so relieved that you are safe and sound. Have really enjoyed your new videos so far, and am looking forward to more of them. About your falls and crashes, there are two types of bikers, those that have fallen and those that will still fall. You have far more guts than most people I know and I think your adventures are truly awesome, can't believe the adventures you have been on. (Insert WOW emoji). Please stay safe and keep the videos coming, love the new hair cut.
Well done, whenever i've been to the Netherlands i'm always impressed by how well people look after things, there's no litter and everyone takes a pride in their gardens etc.
And with a "Good Morning Internet", Itchy Boots is Back!
Noraly, my mother was from the Netherlands, Delft to be specific. Mom passed away in 2009. Thank you so much for sharing your, and my mother's, home country. ❤😊
Greetings from delft
Noraly, I really love how you deal with difficulties and obstacles. Always with a smile on your face. Big fan of yours here in Brazil
..
How much I missed your "Good Morning Internet and time on your iPhone" good to see a vlog again
Good evening Noraly… I am late to the party and have followed you for just a few weeks, catching up on your path around Europe and then to Patagonia and finally the difficult trek through Peru. You are beyond adorable and impressive in your language skills, people skills, navigation skills, technical skills and flexibility in dealing with whatever life throws at you. The world needs to see more of you and more people should be like you. You are truly an example for your generation. Be well and I look forward to your next internet adventure!
Who misses "Good morning Internet!"?, I missed that greetings Norally. Stay safe! Ride safe!
And I wondered all through this video if she misses struggling through mountains on horrible roads...
Me!
Such a beautiful country
Good country and friendly people.
That ugly mug on youtube again?
I just love how the city is laid out
such a scenic place
Hi Noraly ,I started watching your videos about 3 weeks ago and I love them...I star ridding motorcycles again after so many years and I like the way you doing it..great historíes,very educative and I am learning a lot about South America countries...beautiful places...I live in Michigan,United States in a town Named Holland like your Home Country...it was funded for Dutch people about 150 years ago I think...I am not sure...there is a windmill that was brought here from the Netherlands....every May there is a Tulip festival with thousands of tulips..dancers with the classic Dutch clothing....I work in the Local College and they are called the Flying Dutch men for all their sports team .Just want to thank you for show those Countries were you travel...great places.....Take care your self and be careful...😄👍🏼
Yay!! Noraly is back!😁😁
We needed a little journey while we are quarantined!
Stay safe, and thank you!!
Love the small towns, the drawbridges, and the history. Please do lots more!
What a great ambassador you are for your country Noraly. Stumbled upon this vlog as I binge watch on your other episodes. I love the Netherlands and its people. Have some great friends there and lived in Delft and Utrecht as well. Thanks for bringing back many fond memories of times spent there!
Wow, like nothing happened. Even the flatlands look amazing by the eyes of Norally. Looking forward to see the rest of the Dutch series
Lots of fun. The Netherlands is so beautiful. I’m gonna watch it again. Glad you’re back on a bike again. Glad you haven’t gotten ill, and that your family is OK as well. Really enjoy your videos and your commentary. Congrats to Royal Enfield for loaning you an excellent bike.
Hi Noraly from New Zealand. You truly amaze me the way you ride single handed (only one hand on the handlebar) through all sorts of terrain including steep mountain passes and in the remotest of places. And all of this in the most pleasant manner that makes your videos so welcoming to watch. You never know, but we may see you in our little country some day. We have a wide variety of landscapes that I'm sure you would enjoy. All the best and please keep making more videos. I am enjoying your home country through your eyes. Best Wishes, Terry
Noraly, beautiful in blue, and Lima, too! Thanks for the tour, loved your interviews last week on Rev'it and The Missenden Flyer.
Hello Noraly, I have been following your adventures from the beginning and I must say that your videos are so well done, educational and informative for the average person from 8 to 88 as we used to say! It does not matter if you are in Europe, the middle East, India, Far East, South America, you make us see the world through your eyes in a way that very few people can do! Most of them "travellers" have someone that writes a script! You don't and we all learn from your travels. You live in a beautiful country and I am glad that many people are discovering the Netherlands through your eyes. I am in my early 60's and I traveled the world on motorcycle for a long time. We all wish you the best and hopefully Peru and the entire continent of SA will open their borders soon enough for you to return and keep your adventure going. See you on the road soon.............very best regards. Be safe. Cheers
Thank you so much Noraly for your latest video. Although we have never met, i feel like you are an old friend & I am so happy to see another one of your videos. I think its brilliant of you to make a series of videos about your home country. I feel like we have traveled around the world together already, but now you are showing us around your home. Thank you again for your videos, but especially these latest ones. We are still pretty much locked down here in the San Francisco Bay Area & likely to be for the summer. So, we will have to be content with pandemic staycations this summer, but through your videos we'll still get to visit the Netherlands & get a first class tour. I'm really looking forward to the next one! Thanks again!
"Let's Go!" Who knew such a small phrase would make me so happy!!
Love "Season 3, The Netherlands," within Season 2, and look forward to more! Also, love the new gear, Lima, and your enthusiasm about new projects!
Oops, in keeping with your prior titles, maybe it should be "SEASON 3, Adventures with Lima!"
YOUR COUNTRY IS BEAUTIFUL! Thank You for being MY FAVORITE GEOGRAPHY TEACHER, it is a privelege to watch your channel!!!
O how beautiful, thank you Norley, looking forward to seeing more of the Netherlands through your eyes, have a wonderful day. ❤️❤️❤️
Netherland is beautiful... 🇳🇱
love from India 🇮🇳
സാധനം കയ്യിലുണ്ടോ
I am loving this series about your home...
Thanks for showing us Naarden! Some of my husband's ancestors came from there after they left France when the French Protestants (Huguenots) were being persecuted. They took on a Dutch name, VanNaarden, which eventually got twisted into VanOrder back here in North America! Very happy to see you're still riding and we are looking forward to seeing more of the Netherlands. Dank u wel!
As a Dutch person I'm curious if you know why in North America Dutch names were changed from Van Naarden or Van Zand to Vannaarden or Vanzand? It seems strange why everyone took out the space...
Great to have you back vlogging. Very interesting to hear some Dutch history, looking forward to the next installment 👍
So nice to see some more of the Netherlands. Last year members of my family and I did a 6 day cycling tour through your beautiful country and mostly on the back ‘roads’ for my Dads 80th birthday. We will be back!
I am very, very happy with your return. Your country is beautiful!🇧🇷
This is cool! Loved the history lesson! Can’t wait to see more of the Netherlands
Part of mijn familie woont ook aan de Loosdrechtse Plassen., en in Spengen EX Kockengen. Dat is ook zo ontzettend mooi.
Als ik naar Nederland op vakantie ga dan ben ik daar altijd.
I'm happy to confess I've become addicted - somewhat surprised myself! Good to have you back.
"I'm riding from Utrecht to Amsterdam, but I'm going by the back roads" :-)
We expect nothing less, great to see you back Noraly. Never underestimate your own country, what may seem common and not interesting to you is all new and wonderful to us, so much water, I live in Adelaide Australia, our main river the Murray River on which we depend for water is smaller than your peat trench! So happy to see you are well after lockdown hope your family is the same,
regards
hey Ray. i followed the Murray from Echuca to the coast in Sa, then home via the coast to melbourne. very interesting ride and fun ride.
Not much off roading in the 🇳🇱
@@johnbarber6369 There is some pretty country out there, bit dry at the moment.
Since I found your channel it has been addictive. You are just an amazing young lady. Feel like I'm riding your adventures. I've riden motorcycles since I was a teenager and now I'm 70 years old. Please be safe since want to see alot more of your travels. Till next time...
Way Kewell, Noraly
What a beautiful and interesting country!
Btw, if you’re thinking that showing your viewers something more mundane, and less adventurous than we are used to seeing on your Channel, not to worry!
Many of us will never have the opportunity to visit the Netherlands, so seeing it from your perspective is so interesting!
Keep em coming 😎
I have the same opinion
Holland was known, world over, for its huge windmills...do you plan to show us those, and in what part of the country they are most located?
@@garykaufman8128 There was 1 mill in the video, they're pretty much all like that one :P
@Gary Kaufman I don't believe anything on the internet. So I would like to see one more Windmill so we know this is true... and then that will pretty much do it for Windmills.
So pleasant to see you on YT again. A "normal" happiness in a challenging, unpleasant time.
Your country is beautiful Noraly, thank your for showing these places and telling us many interesting things!
As always, most enjoyable, entertaining and informative! Looking forward to the series.
Thanks to your R-E dealer, Rev'it and Arai.
Thank you so much for showing Netherland. You brought back my memories of summer of 1979 that I went through your country. what a beautiful country and what a beautiful people. And thanks to those guys that saved my life by pulling me from the sea and resuscitating me back to life, after I had drowned at sea some where around Den Haag.
If you are ever passing Orange county in California, would love to be an assistance, should you need any thing. All the best and stay safe.

Noraly, I am enjoying your videos, so much. My grandfather was born and raised in Amsterdam. He came to the United States when he was 18 years old. My brother and I visited the Netherlands in 2015, to spend time with our cousins, who live in Almere. We were able to visit our grandfather's home, and see where he grew up. We had such a good time. Our cousins have come several times to visit us as well. I am a long time motorcyclist, living in Florida. I found your videos and started watching them a few weeks ago, I find them very interesting and fun, but the best thing is listening to your voice! You sound so much like my cousins, and you have a similar personality. I have a 6 year old grand daughter, who calls me Opa, in honor of my Dutch heritage. Love your videos. Stay safe.
Norally, your country looks beautiful and I appreciate the history lesson, I found it very interesting, thanks for sharing.
Finally.. your smile makes my day!!
I love you! ❤️🤙👍🍕
Wow... this gave me chills at my spine, My family immigrated from holland to Brazil 5generations ago, the family lost all dutch connection but I always wanted to learn more about the place where they came from. And I ride bikes... Seeing your video feels like I am connecting with my past. Absolute star you are! Thank you.
Wow, the Netherlands is a very beautiful country! That systems of canals and forts is super cool. So glad you're showing us around😎
Thank you! I LOVE this trip through the Netherlands! For me to see that amazing collection of ancient buildings seems so rich with history. Here in Seattle there’s almost no history - and they tear down buildings after 75 years. Here we have lots of desert that looks like Argentina... but we don’t have fascinating history like the Netherlands. So it’s fabulous to get to watch you fly past such stunning sights! I’m fascinated by all the houses that look almost in the water. Thanks!
It's not uncommon here for people to live in houses that were built before the United states was established, our views of "old" is probably a little different to most Americans haha.
@@Juuul89 As a US citizen I visited holland in 1975 that year Amsterdam was celebrating its 700th aniversary - the next year 1976 we clebrated 200 years!
Thank you Itchy I’ve been wanting to see your country for as long as I can remember as ancestors are from there. So beautiful!!
Your video skills, and your ability in handling that Drone is amazing.
Arai.... a great choice in a helmet, the best in my opinion! Light, quiet and excellent protection, Arai is the best and money well spent. Ride safe, the world is watching and anticipating your return to Peru.
I've been watching your videos every day. You and Alaska are in Africa right now. I'm glad I got to see the first video.
So nice to hear from you again. Missed watching your morning bfast. Stay safe, keep physical distancing. 🛵
Thank you Noraly for showing us the hidden side and history of the Netherlands; I’d love it if you would post some waypoints or the entire route to follow your steps next time I’m in the Netherlands. I like riding there often and have sometimes stumbled upon some nice towns but having a virtual guide would be even better.
So beautiful, Noraly, just as you are. Been so busy with work I hadn't had a chance to watch...but now SO worth getting to see part of your country. Thank you so much! Love how they had put so much effort into cleaning the swamps and making them into beautiful oases. Thank you for the therapy this afternoon. From MN USA. Ride safe and enjoy the ride {windsister}😊🏍👍
Wat is dit tof om te zien. Ik rijd zelf ook motor, maar wat is het gruwelijk tof om je landje eens door andere ogen te zien.
You are a wonderful guide and I enjoy this documentary style display of your own country as well the rest of the World!
How fun to see this vlog in April 2024! Thanks for the fortified cities, very cool.
I have learned so much about Holland, I'm glad I discovered your videos, fascinating.
Brilliant video Noraly thanks for sharing with us, it’s a beautiful country, I love the drone footage, really missed your videos, glad you’re back filming. Stay safe 👍🇬🇧
hi Nora, the universe is and will continue to be with you! many good things will come to you. you deserve it! And the universe will conspire in your favor! Thank and be happy!
The Drone footage is so helpful to get perspective.
So good to hear "Good morning Internet" and "Let's Go" again. Thank you for that!
The Netherlands is a beautiful country and the new Dutch water line is an interesting defence system.
Noraly, Its so nice to hear " Lets Go" again. I really enjoyed your video as I have never been to Holland. Your country is so beautiful. You are lucky that the Covid 19 has been mild there.

Ken Haylock Wow! You’ve got good eyes mate. Us TT fans get everywhere, eh? 👍🏻
Great to see your homeland and your riding. I look forward to the next video
Love how you never give up. Always coming up with new idea . And Netherlands is the most beautiful country on earth
People who put (dislike)??? Are you jealous from her, because she is the BEST??? Thank you for showing us such wonderful places, you are my hero.
It*s great to see you again. Even though I live very near to the Netherlands, you managed to educate me within ten minutes. Love it! Thank you so much!
Although I am from the Netherlands and this scenery is quite familiar to me, it's really nice to see you back in the saddle!

Our cyclist from India is also looking forward to return to India in a hotel near the airport in your city. # He is also famous on RUclips as "Cycle Baba". . You will be very happy if I meet you. Miss Noraly
Hi noraly welcome back you fulfilled my wish I wanted to visit your country i fully enjoy this video 👌
Wonderful that you are back and in Holland never the less!! Love your videos! I am from Holland (Heemskerk, Beverwijk area). Cannot wait to see where ever you will be going. Best regards from Canada (where I live now).
Thank you for showing your beautiful home country!
Really good stuff, love it. I find this just as interesting as all of your other massive adventures.👍
After finishing S2 on a subdued note how nice it is to see you full of beans and so enthusiastically teaching about Holland! Loving it!
Welcome back Noraly, I have just finidhed 'pigging out' on all your videos starting in India and finishing (so far) in Peru for the third time! I think your onward trip could be delayed for quite some time until there is a vaccine and Dhanno will need a really good service before you continue whenever that is. You are a lucky lass to get another Himalayan while you are home as well as all new riding gear and a new helmet, I really enjoyed this video, we have a very large Dutch community in New Zealand and it is interesting to see where they came from. Take good care of yourself - and wash your hands!
"Good morning internet" "let's go" - Good to have you back on the screen, surprising how much you miss those 2 phrases when sat at home during these strange times. Nice to see you out and about again, stay safe, stay well :)
Hola me da mucha alegría que hayas regresado a la aventura, que bien que la situación se ha normalizado en los Países Bajos.
Saludos desde Loja - Ecuador 🇪🇨
Gotta love the lowlands. Brings back memories from the 80s when a friend was working in Den Hague. We visited Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, Leiden and some other lovely places I can’t recall. More recently on the way back from The Harz in northern Germany I stopped over in Enschede and Amsterdam. I love the Netherlands and the Dutch people. It’s such a great place to visit.
Hahaha, Itchy Boots has itchy boots!!!! Suffering from PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome). Great to see ya back in the saddle again.
So glad you decided to make these videos!
Amazing video as always Noraly! The landscape and architecture is so incredible. The history makes it feel so much more special I love it!
