She's got the warmest smile in the motorcycling adventure world.
I’m 62 , biking since a young teenager and you’ve got me crying and laughing at same time with your joy of life! A brilliant tonic for the soul. Should be prescribed by Doctor to watch this , better than medicine! Keep well young lady.
Agreed, she`s super cool huh? Excellent covid therapy.
Yes, this is great medicine. Love the passion, Itchy Boots!
Im 61 years old from Norway....been biking since 16 yo. I agree, following Noraly is medicine, and great fun :-) Be careful and drive safe :-)
I agreed
I love her already..she's fantastic.!
Cute! Like a kid with a new toy. Noraly, your facial expressions upon hearing the bike being worked on is.priceless.
42 years "young" here .. diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis .. so once the schools open up, ill be getting my mc license, before its to late . and i might be getting me the cb500f looks good drives well .. (ofc its a Honda ) .. so catch ya on the roads most likely
Hopefully getting mine next year... And I wish you alot more time to enjoy riding... My best friend has MS, too and he is in an advanced state already...
He´s trying his best to still do the things he enjoys... It is an aweful disease and I really wish there was some major breakthrough in therapy...
Anyway, have some good rides :)
Wishing you the best life have to offer.Watching from Sydney Australia
It came late in life so hopefully its going to be an easy one. :-) When it comes to the department of "looks good" and rives well though...have a look at the Kwaks! :-)
@@RSProduxx got it yet?
Your face as the bike was screaming! Classic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🍻🍻🍻
“The things that make a girl happy”.....should be the title of this new European journey. Happy Trails young Lady. 👍🏼 😎 🌎
I don't think thats she is really young ))
@@danielkross366 .........mentioned as a show of respect. And as I am 60+ and Noraly is 32, she is quite a bit younger than I.
I agree with the new title 😊😊🥰
I'm 78, first bike in 61 a R. E. Crusader Sport been riding on and off ever since, sold all my Triumphs last year, but after watching all these videos i'm going to try a CB500, fortunately body still in good shape no aches or pains.
Did you catch that delightful grin on Noraly’s face when she peeked in on the dyno run... priceless!!!
Yeah and I got goosebumps hearing that exhaust
Wow, I just wrote a similar comment...amazing!!
A real biker
Love to see a girl that likes 18000 rpm
Ha Ha what a petrol head :p
I am watching these videos with a mixture of envy and sadness.
I started my riding days in the late 1960's and I have loved every minute of it. Sadly, I now have to quit motorcycles due to the onset of osteoarthritis in my neck and shoulders.
I will now merely be an observer and not a rider. Getting old sucks.
Dallas, just read your post, take heart and change your riding style. I have changed from a sporty bike to a cruiser and it has extender my time on bikes! I too have arthritis in my neck, shoulders and spine. I have had both knees replaced and found that my Kawasaki Vulcan s 650 is great for comfort during days out on the bike, I even go on camping trips still! I can agree with you “getting old sucks”! I am rapidly approaching 70 and I intend to ride as long as I am able. Good luck.
I also have two of the major kinds of arthritis in this drug has helped me quite a bit I’ve been taking it for over 10 years and in my 60s and still riding ..an old bone shaking Harley Davidson ,which actually also helps me from its vibration the drug is .hydroxychloroquine ,,
Don't quit..
Same, rode for 45 years, but sadly aches and pains the next day stopped me. Many happy rides though.
I have ongoing health issues so I'm planning ahead for a sidecar. Costs a bit but on a light bike I'm hoping I'll be able to ride.
Anyone got any experience with them?
You are such a lovely person that we don't realize the time passing, thank you for the good content and effort for doing all this.
Ronin is happy, Noraly is happy, Itchy Boots fans happy. I'm glad you finally got heated grips for your hands it will make your riding much more comfortable. It's fun to watch the excitement on your face when you get new stuff. Prayers Flying for safe Travels!
Nothing like a young woman and her new motorcycle making bubbling sounds together. Enjoy the new sounds Noraly. I know your followers will if it brings you that many smiles.
Thank you for uploading this, Noraly, as many of us in the USA are experiencing huge anxiety on the eve of the election and where our country may be going, and to be honest, at the moment I just watched the introduction and won't be able to watch all of it until later, but being able to see that smile of yours and the positive energy you radiate from within helps--thank you, just what I, and many others here in the USA, needed today!
I completely concur with this. You, Noraly, are a hero for the times. I love to see your enthusiasm and your smile, in the face of difficulty. Rock on, Noraly!!
Exactly my thoughts as I was about to write, " thanks I needed that ", especially the dyno segment !
Amen!
And we are anxious for you, our cousins across the pond... fingers crossed for a good result and a more life-affirming set of conversations over the next 4 years.
I just discovered your site the other day: good to see you’ve got pretty much the same mindset & interests in these types of bikes as some of us! Must be feeling good to be back in the old ‘moederland’ and if I may add; you do excellent reviews Norali, so keep up the righteous work!
Noraly, I appreciated this video very much. Thank you for taking us with you to see the upgrades to Ronin. The smile on your face was priceless. Stay safe and take care.
Just found this channel, excellent! Great to see someone not playing up to the camera and just being natural, adds so much to the content.
Chris, you'll be binge-watching Noraly! She's so addicting with her charm, optimism, humor, intelligence, genuine friendliness, sense of awe and adventure, exceptional riding and video editing skills with great music and photography.
Noraly is such a good travel narrator, she could make an adventure series riding a mobility scooter around engrossing! 🤗
I would watch a video of her doing her laundry!
Camping is out, Luxury is in...Only the best for our Noraly, we must look after this woman, she is a national...nay! a World Treasure :)
✊😎
When I rode the Police BMW's, those heated grips were an absolute godsend in winter ! And what do you mean, " getting old " ???
You are still very young and beautiful, stay safe Noraly !!
BMW started this not only for comfort but for safety as well , so you could still easily use your fingers for the break and the clutch.
Talking about sewing machines...haha...I just love my BMW's!!!
I mean vacuum cleaner....haha...in Holland we don't say; sounds like a vacuumcleaner but a sounds like a sewingmachine.
Just one of the many reasons I respect Itchy Boots. She gives very helpful and honest feedback/info to the community, because she's independent, not working for the companies, she's a consumer. I really appreciate your honest words about Ronin's strengths over Basanti and Dhanno. And also the Daytona heated grips having a smaller controller. Very helpful! Thanks! I love your work.
Noraly I am now up to speed on Season 6 which is the first season I've watched. I'm now catching up on your early adventures and enjoying them so much. I've just seen the beaming smile on your face when you saw Ronin with her new Akro' fitted and it brought back the memories of when I used to put a new toy on my bike, there's no feeling like it, pure glee.
Love the smile you have when explaining Ronin's new exhaust. Eagerly anticipating your next adventure.
Noraly and anyone reading this. Loved the video and the great comments from all of the like-minded multi-national souls that follow Itchy Boots. It's great to feel part of this friendly community. Noraly, keep the videos coming if you can, it seems you bring a smile to a lot of peoples faces.
@Uncle Eidolf She gets income from RUclips for her videos, with over 600,000 subscribers she earns more, ALso she has a range of merchandise abailable on her website, I expect she has other methods of earning income in train as well.
@@walkerhjk So, what’s your point, there’s nothing stopping you from doing the same assuming you have a caring and bubbly personality.
Everything is a community now. I loved you on Double Dare.
I was thrilled to see another video Noraly--I thought surely we'd be waiting a month or two. Thanks for taking us along once again--after having a really crappy last two weeks (with a really crappy new manager) your video was a really bright moment to my day.
Just started watching your videos, they are so positive and uplifting. I’ve been riding for 50 years, so you keep enjoying and keep on keeping on. I’ve seen so many beautiful places here in the United States, you just can’t see the same or get the experience in a car. Been all over Europe, just not on a bike. My youngest son was born in Heerlen, NL. Such a beautiful country. Keep the videos coming from a new subscriber in Kentucky. Stay safe. PS, my wife rides also, she has 2 bikes.
Heated grips once you have them you never ride without. Best upgrade on my Honda NC700X ever
The world needs more girls that get excited about aftermarket exhausts!
amen
yes THIS
And who smiles as big when they see, and hear, a streetbike being revved to its limit.
@@darkiee69 That, we have a lot. But only as back-seat riders.
"who can turn the world on with her smile? Who can take a nothing day and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile..."
That broad smile on seeing a brand new exhaust :D Love her love for her bikes !
Never thought that I would love watching a bike getting a new exhaust! 😍
You will love your heated grips. I wouldn’t be without mine in the UK in winter. 🤲
Same here, I can ride as soon as the snow is off the roads here in Michigan with my beloved heated grips.
Well, that has to be the best ever intro to one of your videos! When you panned around and we saw your sheer delight in the workshop I just laughed out loud and clapped - so much pleasure you shared there.
Good to hear about Dhanno as well but Ronin...ahhh, she sounds so fit now.
Can't wait for more rides, Miss Noraly.
A true gearhead, can be spotted when the dyno pulls are being done. Priceless, I feel better now about my passions for motorcycles, thanks Noraly!!!
Ronin looks awesome Noraly. Thanks for taking time to update us with this Episode. Also looking forward to seeing Dhanno once again. Looking forward to THAT Episode. Take care and ride safe. 🤟🏽🖖🏽
So happy we’re going to keep seeing you, even if just once a week. While we’ll miss the travelogues, at least half of why I watch is your indefatigable optimism in the face of almost anything. We could all learn a lot from you. Oh, and in the cold, try an electric jacket liner: it reduces bulk and lets you ride in really cold temps.
Some girls enjoy new handbag, some new exhaust. Great choice, Noraly : ). I´m glad you will stay in our honda family. Safe ride!
Nice video and story telling Noraly! Love your beautiful smile when opening the exhaust box and watching a dyno pull, pure joy in it!
You're back!! Good to see you again. Nothing like in a bike shop with the great sounds and smells. You're something, heated hand grips, a new lighter better sounding exhaust and to top it off a motor service. What makes this girl happy, good to see. Till next time, ride safe.
How cool and friendly staffs letting you in the shop
Most all shop here in the US won't let customers inside!
Citing insurance!!
I thought it so great she could open the package too! True Christmas!
Don't forget Noraly isn't just a customer. She's an ambassador. She has open door policy lol!
There are insurance issues in workshops throughout the world, but there are ways around them for specific circumstances. In Dubai, I used to hold basic car info sessions for various groups, inc. the Boy Scouts. This shop couldn't buy the amount of good publicity that they earned by Noraly's visit.
Glad you are back and , as always, making the best of a poor situation. Looking forward to the new series. Keeping updates posted to the ST-Owners and K1600 forums on your adventures.
The happiest smile at the dynotest.
Congratulations on the upgrades. You’ll love the heated grips! It’s amazing how much difference warm hands can make!
Safe travels!
Just looking at some other comments, I would also add the brush/hand guards. Stopping the wind from hitting your hands will help!
That smile on your face, while listening to the bike being tested is absolutely gorgeous!
The only thing, I don't like about the Honda bikes is that Euro 4, or even 5 sound. Absolutely superb bikes, but the sound is, as you say, like a vacuum cleaner.
No getting old, you still have a lot of time and places to discover. Greetings. Santiago - Chile.
I am 71, been riding on and off road since I was 9 years old, and your videos just strengthen the motorcycling excitement in my bloodstream even more!
Thanks for all you do.
The Dyno guy is testing the vocal range on the Gixxer & Norale"s reaction is priceless :)

@Nombre Apellido Yep, one of those. With "fries", please.
That is one HUGE bike shop!!! The sound on the dyno is just music to my ears!!
Love it!! Winter riding, best piece of kit I have is my heated jacket wired into the bike. 18 years on the road, all year round, best thing ever......as well as the grips.
Your smile and giggles.....cant stop watching your video. Great Noraly. Keep it up great. Saw very few girls who knew so much about the bike. Your smile at the sight of exhaust at unboxing.....👌👌
@Itchy Boots - Getting old?🙃 I wish I was 33! Your excitement on having the exhaust changed was delightful to watch. Your channel is bringing so much joy to everyone with your relaxed approach to everything & never say die attitude. When you get back on the road this winter take extreme care and may you god go with you! We are already behind you x
15:39 That smile ! 😁
We’re so glad you are back!!😀from Colorado
We all love your videos Noraly! I am glad you decided "no camping", its a lot of work, and you ride so many hours, you need a good rest, a good bed..... we still love your videos anyway. I love my heated grips, I have heated gear also, even though I don't ride if it's REALLY COLD. And I feel the same when I buy any new little thing for my bike. Motorcycling is our passion!
Clearly a lady who loves her bikes. Looking forward to future travels in Europe.
The misused big superiority terms lady and clearly must be edited out, all wøm’n / ppl are the exact opposite of such terms - there is only ONE Lady / Princess / Queen / Goddess / Leader / Star etc and that’s me the superior / pure / radiant being (I’m also the only meisje / meisjes / girl / girls / maiden / maidens and the only vrouw / vrouwen etc) and all other superiority terms also only reflect me, and numbers also cannot be in yt names or names and must be changed!
I like that, "vacuum cleaner"!
@@toqtoq3361 i think it is not that loud. perhaps not the full racing mode exhaust?
I guess the phrase used to be "sounds like a sewing machine" but I realized not too many people know what that sounds like these days.
It’s the fan that make the vacum cleaner noice. A crucial detail when riding in hot climate. Remember Atacama desert and the constant risk of overheating. Now, for upgrading the bike for off-road why not go to a Nuda 900R (see Royal Jordanian) with all gear on and no compromises. :)
Now it sounds like a tuned Vacuum cleaner😅 😉
@@galaxies7426 I couldn't tell the difference !, a HUGE amount of money for nothing.
Ronin "sounds like a vacuum cleaner".LOL
Noraly is ecstatic. And I feel her joy all the way in India!
15:37 ... this smile is priceless
Hi Noraly !
I found your channel just recently. I’m trying to catch up on earlier episode’s.
I just want to give you some feedback.
I have watched some of your europe episodes, and I like it a lot!
You are such a wonderful person!
Happy, positive, humble, funny and true!
You amaze me!
I hope you are feeling well and that you can continue doing the things you love doing.
Keep being the nice person that you are.
Take care!
Big hug from Sweden! 🤗
Can You relate to Her Expression oF Happiness after hearing the downshifting on that 4 cylinder almost F1 like!! Music to the ears!!
Hi. The moment you mentioned new exhaust, I said to myself - it ought to be Akrapovič ! Congratulations. This is a miracle of motorcycle add-on high-tech from Slovenia. They make that 40 km from my place and I actually saw the stamping process (titanium!) . Fuel consumption could be considerably less. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us, quarantined poor souls. Happy riding!
There's no need to exaggerate. Akrapovic is lighter and louder than stock, but functional improvements are only marginal. In engineering, there are no miracles.
Mr. Toad from The Wind in the Willows had that same giggle of joy when he'd get his hands on a shiny new automobile to race! And that new muffler sound is no doubt part of the experience. Can't wait to see where you're heading next... down to the sunny south.
it's really good how you can make a simple video enjoyable to watch...that's a craft. nice work itchyboots
9:59 entering the ultimate candy store :D
I plan on putting a British Custom aftermarket exhaust on my 2014 Triumph Bonneville. It is not going to be any louder, but the sound is incredible. Sounds like the Bonnie's from the 1960's. The stock mufflers are to restrictive. The rich sound of yesterday is able to come through with the British Custom exhaust. Great show today Noraly. That new exhaust sounds so much better. A good exhaust like the Akropovic is like a symphony on wheels. Take care. Vaughn
it's nice to see how happy someone looks when getting new parts for the bike...the look in her face!
My Thumbs Up was because of seeing you so happy. You were like a kid all over again, a side we rarely get to see. Looking forward to your next adventure Noraly. Cheers.
I totally get the thing with the sound of the exhaust pipe 😂 good choice with the Akrapovic! Greetings from Finland where the riding season is become less and less enjoyable 😫😒 enjoy for us!! Safe riding to you and Ronin, and good sailing to Dano !
Looking forward to learning about the new suspension and wheels.
There is something satisfying and reassuring about watching people who know and enjoy what they’re doing at work.
I like your smile, every time you get new toys. You're giving me old memories of my 750K4. Great times. As long as I rode her, I never dropped her. good times.
"Sounds like a vacuum cleaner" LOL.. Thanks, needed a good laugh this morning.. :)
That sound's AMAZING!
The excitement and joy even thousand kilometers away I also can feel it.
Awesome exhaust. Nice sound. I have heated grips too and love them. Keep on riding, and be safe
Congratulations for the upgrades, keep going girl 👍🏼
I’ve really enjoyed this season, which I missed at the time. All of the countries you showed us are so clean, beautiful, friendly and are now in my plans for future rides. Very helpful too with times of year to visit, especially Norway in the rain!
Germanic / Nordic countries are the best (even though no country is perfect, the pros outweigh the cons in Germanic countries, and they’re way better than most others in many ways, plus the languages are so pretty in every Germanic country) and are clean (compared to most others, being in a Germanic country is a real luxury) and there is mostly nature and only a few houses, so they are on my list of countries where I want to live and visit! I think I will be moved to the Netherlands in the near future, which is great because I learned Dutch and am advanced level, so it would be easy for me to order items off NL wss and buy foods from NL supermarkets, and I cannot wait to be moved! I also want to go to Norway and Iceland and Sweden and the other Nordic countries, and I am also learning Icelandic / Norwegian / Faroese / Swedish / Danish / German / Limburgish / Old Norse etc!
I’m 66 and still riding just got myself a cb500x for my retirement, keep riding but most importantly enjoy it. Great videos 🇬🇧👍
I love the pricesless smile. Following your footsteps . My inspiration ❤️❤️
That smile in the Dyno room said it all.....👍😂
“Sounds like a vacuum cleaner.” Hahaha! Sure made me laugh. Enjoy. 👍👍
My Burgman 400 runs like a sewing machine!
The happy feeling when we change new parts to our love machine ...Norely so nice; always smiling
I am addicted to that noise and the of road look Great video THX
Going to be VERY hard to go back to the Royal Enfield after riding the Honda...just saying 😉
Having ridden both they are both very cramped but the RE is a much nicer bike to ride back roads on! Boring highways are the honda's territory..
I think she'll never go back.
I chose the Himalayan over the Honda for several reasons. Easy to maintain. No liquid cooling to deal with. No need to change wheels and suspension to ride off paved roads. Price. Not covered in plastic.
For me the Himalayan is the better bike, but I also have a Moto Guzzi V7III for street use.
Riding in the wilderness of south america, asia etc etc the RE is definitely the better bet! Drop the Ronin as often as Basanti and the honda will be a mess! Personally I would chose the Honda Nx400 single over them both.
I'm siding with Noraly at the moment. I just finished in April, 21,000 km from Northern California to the Darien Gap in Panama, turned and took the East side back north. I'm on a 2019 Honda cb500x and it worked fantastic. Turn the key... it starts!
Sounds like Ronin goin to have a Rally raid upgrade:D
I too thought Ronin was getting a full Rally Raid upgrade.
Rally Raid is only the Caponord. Nothing else. 😀😀😀
@@ETV-xt1kq rally raid makes upgrades for lots of bikes, 500x included.

While being in quarantine, recovering from covid 19, my husband and me are binge-watching your videos... Dreaming of going on trips with our hondas again soon... Thank you so much for your positivity, good humour and for taking us all with you!! Best wishes from two fellow bikers from Germany✌️✌️
Good to hear you are recovering...
@@steveharleyfan Thank you! Yes, we've recovered so far and are going to work again. Yet, we both still feel tired and exhausted, I guess that's quite normal. We have to let our bodies time to recover when we're sick, whether it's Covid our "just" a normal cold...

I love the things you do!
You're a super champ for riding this year so-far without heated grips! Congrats on the addition! :)
Love to see your happy expressions, Noraly!! :) I've been bingeing your videos from your last adventures up to Gerogia now because I left it for your Patagonia to Alaska videos while waiting for your newest video. I'm going to get an Akrapovick Too!!
Wait!!, I need a Bike first!!
Just Watching Because Noraly!!
Once you've had heated grips, you can never go back.
What's that?
Until you realize that your hands still get cold below 5 degrees Celsius and you get some proper heated gloves
Heated gloves are great. Heated grips are good. Both are heaven in winter.
@@richardshilling2958 Heated grips with Artic Muffs or Hippo Hands are the best in my view when it's very cold with the added wind chill. Heated grips alone can warm the palm and leave the top of the hand frozen. I have heated grips, heated Gerbings gloves and will get some Muffs at some point.
i have never used heated grips how does the throttle side work while twisting the throttle do the wires twist also or is it on a slip ring of some sort??? i live in sub tropical climate however it does get cold 2-3 weeks a year
I love you Itchy Boots, great video, I want to buy that Honda CB500X, I saw your videos in my country Guatemala you are amazing, blessings and keep riding.!!
Great mods for Ronin! Heated grips are always useful and that Akropovic exhaust is exquisite! Sounds great too. Hoping to take my wife on a European trip at some point, whenever circumstances allow. Take care and stay safe 👍🏻
A heated jacket liner or vest can add a lot of comfort in the winter months.
Dhanno's character more than compensates for her limited horse power. Good to hear that Dhanno is returning home.
Hi Noraly, -- your bike now sounds like the Honda. Cb500x 2019 model which I have , with a deeper growl to it, I love the sound , and it’s your bike ,you can do and put what ever you like on it as its part of the fun of having a bike --the bike becomes part of you 😃--I really don’t know how anyone can give a thumbs down for this video, and you made a good pick with the Daytona hot grips,as I have them as well and are super, I had the Oxford ones before and had so many problems with them. Please carry on making these great videos
quedo increible tu moto noraly felicitaciones
Life is complicated for you Noraly. But thanks for staying in contact with us even though you are home. We like to see you as often as you can post updates.
I like the sound, or the lack of. I don't understand why in the US ,everyone is making everything louder??! Love your stuff!
We like to be heard, every cager is glued to their phones while driving and a loud exhaust is often the only way to draw attention away from texting.
Noise helps riders to notice and wakes drivers , kind of alert.
@@diegodelavega2941 It's definitely not the case when you drive for a long period. There's been several research papers done on the fact that high noise increases tiredness in both cars and motorcycles. Just drive 600km on a GS and then do the same back on a loudpipe HD and let's see which one is more tiresome.
Don't lump everyone in the US to liking loud pipes. I think you would find it's Harley owners who like loud pipes. When I ride with Harley's they have to ride in the back or I ride well behind them to avoid the noise. Loud pipes don't save lives they annoy the public.
@@toqtoq3361 sounds like the kind of science trump is so fond of. I commute daily which includes lane splitting and if it wasn’t for my loud exhaust I’d be now and could not write this post. And I never see scientist on motorbikes so don’t spread your fake news about facts that every motorcyclist can easily disprove.
I just love how excited you get about motorbikes.
Nice upgrades, and the great Akra sound! Hope your rides are more enjoyable and safe.
