$1800 for the D3 in Blackjack, add 200 for the Bolt graphic, or Slime finish. 😭😭😭. I was only a child in the 90s, by the time I was into guitar and found out what Washburn and Dean were, it was already too late. 2003, was the last time you could get Washburns for under 2k. The hype for Dean was real and a lot of people sold mint Slimes, and Bolts for dirt cheap. I was just young dumb and in my early 20s to realize how credit works. 🤣😫😭

I walked into Mother's music in AB in 97. They had two American Washburns, one Bolt, one orange Slime, both autograohed for $1800. I came back 2 days later with the money for the slime. I don't know who got the bolt, but I still have mine.
I got a ‘Slime’ from from Ali a month ago. Been looking at them for a while & chose a seller who already sold 6 of these. It feels and plays like my DFH Dean straight out the box. I too wouldn’t have or spend the cash on an actual Washburn Slime or spend £800 on a made in Korea with Floyd Special bridge (Dean Slime). Superb value. Who cares what the tuners are as long as they work right- they are after the locking nut afterall :) Pickups do ‘good enough’ at impersonating the Duncans for me and l finally got me a ‘Dime Slime’’. Just for me and not to resell.

How was the finish on yours? I've seen what customers were getting on older videos and it didn't look right. I'm hoping they've gotten better at the finish because this is the one I really want.

Dude I just got mine from ali. Seller had a good amount of good reviews. Guitar is ok. But hardware is garbage. Changed strings, adjusted the bridge, and did the intonation. This thing goes out of tune every like 3 min. Thats without even touching the trem.
Oh and I love that big ol volute on the back of the neck too that’s insane

Sounds pretty good to me for less than 500 bucks, I just saw them in ebay and Im tempted, the wahmmy bar holds the tune pretty fine 👍

I just got a fake Boogie Bolt. It's not perfect and the "floyd" and pick ups suck but for what I paid for it, I'm blown away. I can't take my eyes off of it. You get A LOT of guitar for the money from China.

I just bought and washburn dimond plate stealth import and it is awesome stays in tune plays well
I'm seriously starting to consider that pickups just need some interior thing's done and a noise gate. I've heard a lot of these already, the worst part is probably bad soldering. You have to re do it.
I can tell it's got a fake Floyd I can spot them a mile away but it really looks nice not bad for 300. Pick ups sound right for what Dime would play.

I got an original one it is a 1995 has floyd rose it says signature series and dime 333 on the top of the neck im wanting to know if you can tell me how to know if its American made thanks
Did they have to cover up the Washburn logo when they sent it? They probably got it from alibaba or DHgate. They have all kinds of replicas for cheap. I'd buy one of these all day long. They have ESP copies too. I mean that looks exactly like a real one. I just wonder what kind of pickups are used in that? They made it look like the 59 and the Bill Lawrence but I'm pretty sure it's not really those pickups.

Shit if it plays good, I'd buy one of those. I have a USA Dime 3 signed by the band and I can't play it all the time cause of the signatures obviously. I would totally buy one of these. You think the pickups are legit or would you have to upgrade them. I actually heard the Slime was one of the only ones with the "V" shape neck, I am pretty sure Dime did have a "C" shape neck on a lot of his guitars, but that V shape is really comfortable.
Do you just like the action that high? Or is there some issue with the neck. Man that tone is really badass. And that is with supposed shit pickups right? I wouldnt touch them to put in a dimebucker for $200 . Thes sound perfect to me

i was given a chinaburn in trade comre to find out it s not wsshburn ascle 25.5 as were dimes sig mofdels they are gibson scvale like dean oplusv it fits in my dean stanartd ml cvase wasbuirns dont fit in deabn cases unless it the dfeluxe and it s modafied.
I just got the same guitar off dhgate and it came unplayable. The Floyd route isn’t even the correct size. So I’m hopping I can fix it somehow…

No, woods aren't of the same quality and build quality isn't either, not saying these aliexpress dimes are good or bad, it's a mixed bag but short answer nah man sadly

if washburn was smart......and their not, they would re release all the dime guitars, high end and affordable
Washburn doesn't own a license to produce the dime shapes. Dean Zelinsky is producing some new ones with a new start up in partnership with the Dimebag estate. Dimebag Guitarz I think is what they're naming it. First few models already confirmed is stealth and razorback.

Ola England was partnered with Washburn while they were producing Solar guitars but now Solar is on its own and if Washburn's license agreement is done then they cannot produce any Solar either.

@@TheFoxcrusher Washburn never owned the shapes Dimebag did. Dimebag switched back to Dean not to long before he passed so Dean has had the licensing for the shapes til recently. Licensing basically means they purchased or have some kind of agreement to pay royalties for the ability to make and sell their shapes. Now the Dimebag estate is partnering with Dean Zelinsky so now he's the only one that can legally make and sell Dimebag shapes.
