I only just found out this was Rick May, can't believe more people aren't mentioning it. It's all TF2 and Starfox when you hear about him. But this was juicy role in a huge series!

That the fact that Carmelita was the one to obliterate the last slither of health Dr.M had left is amazing.
Defeating Dr. M will always been one of my greatest memories in gaming. Thank you, Rick May, for all the wonderful performances you've given us. Rest in peace. He's barrel rolling in heaven now.

Rest In Peace, Rick May. His performance as Dr. M was great. As a kid, this was one of my favorite games, and still is one of my favorite overall series. (I even enjoyed the 4th one.) Really sad that the voice behind one of the defining characters of my favorite childhood series is now gone. I had begun replaying the series and just finished the third again right before learning of his passing. Talk about surreal. Let’s hope we can be rid of this Covid-19 B.S. soon.

You know it's been quite a long time but it had barely registered at the time I was rail grinding on lasers. When I was younger I saw the blue sparkles and just thought it was a contextual thing I never realized that Sly's dad contribution was to be able to ride lasers

One of the hardest final bosses I’ve ever faced
In a desperate attempt to think of a reason Penelope betrayed the gang in Sly 4, I thought of a crazy theory that Dr. M switched minds with Penelope before the collapse of Kaine Island, but that's ridiculous.

@@mattmourao7484 In the game Team Fortress 2, there's a character called 'The Soldier' and he's voiced by Rick May. The same late actor as Dr M.
The game has a mechanic where if you dominate another player by killing them repeatedly, your current character has a unique line trash talking or making fun of said character you're 'dominating'.
So people write made up comedic Domination lines for characters outside of the original game.
So what the fella above wrote is this Soldier character giving unique made-up domination lines for the likes of Sly, Bentley, Murray, Carmalita etc.

Well, apparently Carmelita DOES have feelings for Sly Cooper. Guess that kiss on the Krakarov Volcano in "Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus" wasn't just a one-time thing.
And one more thing: RIP Rick May. As the Red Soldier said about the Red Demoman in "The Red, The Blu, and The Ugly", and I quote: "You were good, son. Real good... A true American."
Dr. M should've trusted his instincts to do a Barrel Roll to avoid Sly's attack but nope, he wanted to make Sly Feel True Pain to prove only He had the Brains to have the Cooper Fortune.

So ends our three game colletion adventure in Sly 3 Honor among Thieves facing down Dr M for the final fight and battle leading up to the fourth and final game in the series. Learn to accept who you are and leave to put the past behind and be living the dream finally if you don't know where you need to go. The video game cutscenes of this game is natural to understand the whole story itself with the characters themselves talking.
An easier way to beat this is during phase 2 and 3, when he makes the homing orbs of lightning and fire, rail slide on the lasers at the edge of the arena, and they'll fall off.
Just be sure to dodge the red bolts Dr. M shoots as well.
You could also cheese it by spamming push attacks, but you still gotta be careful of those orbs.
6:27 and that was the final legacy, the final mission of this game. If you ask me it hits so differently and that mandrill went beyond far to claim the Cooper treasure when it was invariably gonna doom him

This was an awesome final boss fight in the game but I felt kinda sad seeing all the accomplishments of Sly’s dad and ancestors just be destroyed 😢 wish there had been a way to save it

@@339gabriel hey! yeah so I started playing 2. I didn't wanna play one cause it looked too difficult and it wasn't as good looking as the other two. I love Sly 2. I'm happy I gave it a chance. I really like Spy missions in general. I'm happy of the gameplay so far.
