This is something I try to tell every muslim / nonmuslim I meet. My intention is to inspire everyone and to help everyone ponder over and take life in the right perspective. I hope you will read this and think over it and maybe let me know what you think or understand from this. Does it make sense? or not?
But since the death of my sister ive been very upset and that triggered a sense of pondering over my life and life as a whole. The life of this world and the hereafter. Why we are here? and Alhamdulillah Allah has made it pretty clear in quran. Its beyond anyone can explain. But still in the rush of this life we tend to forget.
Life in this world is like a few hours of an evening or a morning for a person in the hereafter. It would seem very stupid how people worried about losses that don't matter to them and about the possessions that we feel proud about. Its almost like a trip to a beach a couple of years back and you picked up nice looking shells and pebbles. There were people who flaunted some better ones and some who didnt get lucky enough to find a nice looking shell. Then you stayed a few hours there. Maybe till the sunset. Some stayed a little later. Probably till a little darker maybe 10 PM. Some left a little early, even before the sunset. The people who stayed back felt bad that the ones who left early couldnt stay a little longer and see the sunset. But after a couple of years you dont seem remotely affected by that. The fact that you picked up some shiny shells or you didnt find any. And you no longer feel jealous about a friend of yours who found a shiny nice round pebble to play with.
We we reached this world, Allah covered the first part of out life (many years of our life as souls) hidden. And we all feel as if we are starting this life afresh and that we did not exist before. But we existed for thousands of years before coming to this world. And we will exist thousands of years after leaving from here. When you reach the hereafter, you will remember your whole life including the time you spent in this world. And then it will feel as if it was a trip to the beach one evening. Not worth all the struggles and worries. Out of the entire thousands of years of existence, the life of this world will seem like a couple of hours. But thats the life that will decide whether we are successful in the test that we signed up for.
Once we reach the hereafter, you will remember the people who lived with you, your father, your mother your sisters, your brothers, your spouses and children but you wont feel so attached to them as we feel now. In fact you wont even give one good deed of yours to even your father or mother. Coz you just met them for a few hours at the beach (this world) and then parted. You were really close to them, but it was just a short interaction (just a few hours), not sufficient for you to part with your good deeds. In fact you wont even give them a deed as simple as saying one subhanallah.
You face people who have animosity towards you, and some who are friendly towards you. Some who tried to harm you and some who tries to save you. You dont feel painful about the loses you had. Not even a bit coz. The only thing that we'll all feel bad about is how far we could/couldnt get closer to our creator.

A muslim invented the scientific method. almost 2/3 of the starts in the sky have Arabic names. Science and Islam are NOT disagreeable. In fact, they go hand in hand. The west has twisted Islam. It is not like Christianity nor Judaism nor any other religion. In Islam, the Quran actually encourages people to try and disprove it. To do their own research and investiagation to see if what they are reading is actually true. And to this day, science is still catching up with things that were mentioned in the Quran that Nobody including the prophet ﷺ could have known.

As a pastor revert myself, 54 years down the road, I never looked back no remorse. Nobody ever had to preach or convince me quaran content. I studied raised questions and everytime got straight unswers with no embiquety.

Just confused with the following. Recently learned about other Abrahamic religions. For Christians, Yeshua is God and not prophet because He is identified as Son of God. Yeshua is also the only human to be born by God's Spirit without an earthly father. God sending a prophet after Messiah is so confusing and is like a team playing semifinals after finals. If God wanted to send a prophet, chances are higher that He would have chosen someone from the people who recieved Torah, Psalms and Gospels? Also it's confusing that unlike Moses pbuh (Torah), David (Psalms) and Yeshua (Gospels), the religion of the prophet's family from Mecca at the time of the prophet's birth was polytheism. Recently tried learning but why it is like God is unaware that making Jesus as Messiah would further make people consider Jesus as God. God is also portrayed unaware of the fact that giving Holy birth to Jesus would further make people believe Jesus to be God. It is also portrayed in such a way that God is unaware of someone else instead of Jesus to be crucified would make them worship Jesus as God. Don't know about all this and absolutely confused. The biggest confusion is the way Archangel Gabriel visit the prophet in the cave is portraying Gods archangel to be so rude. Can't identify why God is making someone else instead of Jesus to be crucified?

Tamīm Ad-Dāri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, this religion will reach everywhere the night and day can reach. Allah will not leave a dwelling in a city or a desert except that He will make this religion enter it, thus, honoring the honorable or humiliating the humiliated; an honor which Allah will bestow on Islam, and a humiliation which Allah will inflict on disbelief." Tamīm Ad-Dāri used to say: "I saw this in members of my family: those of them who embraced Islam enjoyed good, honor, and a high standing; and the disbelievers among them were subject to humiliation, disgrace, and the payment of Jizyah."

The fact that modern Western society lacks structure in relationships between men and women is one of the leading cause of people looking to Islam to provide that structure. The failure and disappearance of marriage as an institution, and the Western norms and laws that incentivize female promiscuity and hence disloyalty and unfitness for relationships other than casual are forcing ppl to look elsewhere for rules and guidance on how to restore order in the Western 'dating' and relationship chaos. The meaning of the word Islam is surrender, obedience, and uncompromising faith... and all the writings, from the Koran to the Hadith, and ending with the last Islamic scholars, are full of violence, incitement against "infidels", calls for jihad, stories about Muhammad and his disciples, How they cut off the heads of captives, how they forcibly take women (without consent) of their captives, how they slaughter entire tribes of Jews because they did not agree to believe in Muhammad and his teachings... What kind of peace are you talking about? Look at how much pain, sorrow, and grief have been happening for hundreds of years in the Muslim world! If they didn't fight the Jews and the West, they would fight each other (Shiites against Sunnis, Salafs against both..) This is a culture and a religion that values murder, blood revenge, and holy war...haha the religion of peace....
