    I do a lot of meter work. A magnet is a great idea. But what do you do with all that metal flakes and dust stuck on your magnet? Wrap your magnet with a paper towel before collecting the metal debris. Then hold it over your trash can as you unwrap the paper towel from the magnet. A rubber band works

    • @LaurenLawliss
      @LaurenLawliss  9 месяцев назад

      Yes, as I shared, a magnet would be perfect and I recommend putting a ziploc bag around it before use so once you are done you can flip the bag inside out and trap all the natal flakes for disposal😄

    • @LaurenLawliss
      @LaurenLawliss  Год назад +1

      Thank you Milena! The adapter helps the fan to sit flush to the roof ribs. You only need this if you mount the fan anywhere that isn’t in the front on the flat surface. It is great at helping to prevent leaks too because it is more sealed with the uneven surface of the roof. Hope this helps! Best of luck☺️

    Hi Lauren I wanted to ask you, now that you are living in your van full time, do you wish you would have installed an air conditioner or do you find that the 2 fans are adequate for keeping you and the van cool?

    • @LaurenLawliss
      @LaurenLawliss  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey! Fair question. An AC would be nice, but I don’t have any experience with one in the van so I cannot say definitely. Personally, I don’t mind the heat and I try to move with the weather. Having two fans and venting windows certainly helps. So it is manageable but won’t be nearly as comfortable as living in a house with AC. I don’t want to favor one option over the other because it really comes down to personal preference and the trade offs made to go with either or. There are pros and cons to both.
