  • In this video I show you how to swap your OLD PC into a NEW Computer Case. I decided to get the Lian Li 011 Dynamic for my current build because its such an amazing case for airflow and just overall aesthetics. The whole process took me around an hour which includes recording and stuff. I also decided to get some new Case Fans for this build, I got the Bitspower Touchaqua Notos O 120 PMW fans. I really hope you enjoyed this video. Thank you for watching and have a wonderful day!

    Nicely done. But, did you install the risers for the motherboard, or did it not need it?
    PS: One other thing I would suggest to viewers (unless I missed you saying it), is to back up your data, before starting this process.

    Could you try do part comparisons / tastings. This could bring more people to your youtube channel as alot of people can't decide what part they want because they may not know which is better or more worth the price. Also it could help you upload a bit more regularly because it won't cost as much to make the video as you won't be having to buy the parts to build a whole pc, only one or two. @@BuildsWithV I identified that where the gaps are in the front panel, for the air flow, there's two plastic slide in strips that protect the gaps from dust. • @BuildsWithV

      Yeah you just look at the motherboard and eyeball them. There’s only a couple ways they go honestly, worst case scenario you have to move them again.

    How do you know your current motherboard size ? I have a pre built so I’m unsure of what case size to buy

    • @BuildsWithV
      @BuildsWithV  3 года назад +2

      The easiest way would be to open your case and see if you can see the brand and model of your motherboard and just look it up. Otherwise you can check, If it has only 1 or 2 gpu slots then you have either a mini itx or a micro ATX. If it has 3-4 gpu slots then you probably have a normal ATX board. You could also probably measure it and look at other dimensions.

    awsome vid. do u know if changing hp tower case will woid warranty? since i cant find an answer anywhere. i want to upgrade my pc case.i have the hp pavilion tg0 model its those with mini cases and mini itx hardware. the temps is not the worst thing but they are quite high and the fans are loud. this question may sound stupid but i have to make sure!

    • @BuildsWithV
      @BuildsWithV  3 года назад

      It will void warranty unfortunately. Most manufactures will not allow any type of unauthorized work to their PC without voiding the warranty.

    Great video. Quick question though. I have the MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI MB, and I want to hookup 10 argb fans. Is it possible with this motherboard? I've never built a PC before, so I just want to make sure.

    • @BuildsWithV
      @BuildsWithV  3 года назад +1

      Yeah you can do it but you might need some fan splitters or a fan hub. Also you will need an rgb hub if your fans have rgbs. Keep in mind the type of RGBs you use since there are different ones out there like the 5v ARGB or the 12v rgb. Also make sure your motherboard has a specific RGb header. Sounds like a lot but once you get it it becomes easy to remember. Hope this helps 🙏
