My favorite thing about your review is how candidly you talk about everything you hate about the tv while still recommending it. I feel like I do the same thing a lot. Whenever I need to make an expensive purchase I have a certain order of priorities to consider and if a product is the only one that meets what I need I will get it and love it but that doesn't stop me from being infuriated by all the substandard things about it as well. One of the most useful things that you cannot find out from an ad or paid review or even looking at it in a showroom are all those little software hiccups, the stuttery panning, the dimming issues, the audiodelay, the difficulty finding input, etc. Thanks for your detail and honesty!
We display our family photos from the Apple TV. It’s ALWAYS a talking point when people visit. Can I display an external device (Apple TV) in art mode? Or am I stuck with Samsung junk photos
I think you can import your own photo... But you never have the slideshow option. It's always one picture and that's it. Keep your Apple TV on when you receive visit! 😉
I experienced the audio delay as well. I noticed it happens when connected to the Ethernet cable. Wifi connected works well. It might be the reverse for you but toggle between wifi connection and eternity. One of them will address the Audio delay issue.
Wow! Thank you for the tip. I use it with Ethernet cable. Seams weird that it could work better wirelessly. Anyway, I will keep watcing on my playstation as the overall quality is also better. Cheers!
Hello Mr Pascal. I’m struggling to decide between this model, MiniLeds models or a 4k projector. How’s your average use today? Does your first impressions are still valid after 6 months of use? I try to stay away from The Frame, but it keeps coming back in my mind to substitute my outdated 65” Sony. I’m thinking to install a screen coming from the ceiling and a 4k projector on the front of the 65” tv I have today - going to 100” of screen. I did a lot of studies on UST projectors + ALR screens, but it will force me to change the furnitures, something that I don’t want to do for instance. Ok, I was just curious - if you can return me, I will be glad. I also do have big speakers to match and I’m thinking if The Frame worth the effort on the TV side. Thanks for the video!
Hi. Well that video was made I would say about 6 month after purchase. I would not recommend projector unless you have a dedicated room with pitch black environement. I really love my frame except for it's really bad interface and the absence of a input button on the remote. Appart from that everything is fine. 😉
@@PascalMarquisUnbox Thanks for the return. I'll probably go for it on a 75". I'm also studying the 85" model but it's currently unavailable in my country by Samsung - they bring it from times to times.. The projectors. I do have blackout curtains but I was looking specifically for the Formovie triple Laser 4k UST with an ALR Screen. The problem is the overall cost of import in the place I live in - The projector only jumps from 3.000 USD to 6.580 USD due to duties, and the ALR is about 1.000 USD. I also saw a lot of people complaining that finger marks were almost impossible to remove from the Screen - did you noticed that? Some of they said they use a magic sponge to remove that, and this procedure is recommended by samsung. Are you still using the Frame as an Art in daily basis?
Considering all this, the frame seam to be the best choice. ;) I have install several projector, and when my team and I was installing screen, we were carefully washing our hands before, and had a very important rule. Never EVER touch the screen. Basically you install it and never touch it again. Any trace on it will be there for ever.
@@PascalMarquisUnbox Thanks again!!It was a pleasure to receive your return. I've found today the 85" The Frame model but receiving your update and with others that I've read, it will be necessary to Skip it due to this fingerprint risks - I have a 1 year kid that put his licked thumbs everywhere - There's a Small rack that prevents his access to the screen but the kid is growing up very fast... He will touch the screen, and I will donate the kid after that - I know. Do you have any other recommendation besides that? considering your experience in TV's/Projectors // LG 77" OLED C3 went down 30% this month. I really would like to go for a 85" model but OLED has a outrageous price on 83". There's a 85Q70C that looks like it shares the Panel of TheFrame and could be a reasonable choice also.
wall mounting looks perfect, did you use slimfit wall mount? any tips to get it flush to the wall, I'm going to wall mount my frame tv in couple of days.
I've install it a while ago. As far as I remember I only used what came in the box. Best is to align it with with stud. Unfortunately it may not be centered as you wish but this is by far the most reliable way to keep you TV on the wall.
Please relocate your mic placement, we can hear it brushing up on your body. Not to mention at times it your voice gets muffle. Other than that, great content.
Thanks. Yea your right. That was a mistake I made with a new microphone set. It was a terrible idea. I never made it again. I was ashame of it but did not want to reshoot the video again. Thank you for your constructive comment. 😊
Ahhhh you have confirmed why I don’t like Samsung. EVERY Samsung device I have ever used has had incredibly buggy software, they drop support after 1 year and always have slow painful interfaces!!! I think I need to stop contemplating this tv. Hrmm
I would by it again but I hate it. It's just that it's the only TV on the market that look this great on the wall. Most TV look terrible, this one is really a piece of art.
The interface is really terrible. It really killing it. Just the time I spend to change input because there is not a simple input button the the remote is killing me. But the TV look so great on my wall and I apreciate the mat interface so I would not replace it for any other model.

Thank you very much for your comment it really means a lot to me. :)
For switching the input try holding the 123 button on the remote for few seconds and a screen with the inputs will display.
Oh! Thank you so much I will give it a try next time. :)
Man u talk like a really good teacher. So animated
Thank you so much.

Great speakers!
Which size is this tv?
This one is a 75 inches.

The things you are upset about is just Samsung. You can spend 3000$ for a high end samsung tv, and the interface is still slow as molasses.

Makes a review for a TV, filming from the side... Genius 🤦🏻♂
What's wrong? It's not like if you were to see the quality of the image over my camera lens and your actual monitor?
