    Eggs are making a great comeback. One comment: Pasture raised chicken eggs (pastured eggs) have a near perfect Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio of *one to one.* Caged eggs on the other hand have the Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio a whopping *20 to 1.* What is the medical (read yours) thinking on preferring the pastured eggs? I know, this gets into fats/oils.

    Yes! But take them raw. Heat degrades the enzymes. Plus how could anyone eat cooked eggs everyday and not get sick of them?!

      Are you not worried about pathogens like salmonella? I know that most fresh eggs I’m going to be fine. Do you wash the outer shell before opening them?
