A key difference is the Seiko won't open the same doors as the Rolex would in fact it won't open any, you will just make a fool of yourself :D

There are many watches that will open doors for you. Rolex now is common, they treat buyers like crap as well. Many of the top tier Seiko watches are extremely high quality, as are a lot of other makers.
