There are decent skaters there, sadly the subculture isn't encouraged due to conservative minds. It's crazy how big the fashion aspect of it is, but there is just no room for skating to progress like Japan or Korea

@Em Dub If you've ever been to these spots you'd understand. The ground is rough, often very limited options for gaining speed, etc. A lot of the spots they skate really aren't that good but he made the spots look more interesting that what it really was.

@@zenoplanets7868 There is a small Taiwanese skate scene, of the weekly group that seems to show up to skate its like 10-20 dudes. Pingtung is similar but seems to be more friendly (or less scared to talk to foreigners). Out of the foreigner dudes there is only like 3-5 guys.
