I saw ATEEZ in concert last year and they were absolutely insane live. Hongjoong even said that the break the wall fanchant is so loud that the members can't hear the music, so they have to rely on the rhythm/count of their steps to finish the choreography and I absolutely believe it because the stadium was so loud when I was there. Their energy is definitely unmatched live.

It is something I'll never get over. Total chills that day. It was SOOOO loud it shook the arena.
I am a huge metal fan (from thrash to prog to technical death). I never thought a K-pop group could give that level of intensity….until I listened to Ateez for the first time. Seeing them in concert is basically an out of body experience. You can’t believe what you are watching! I have a soft spot for Halazia. It’s really a masterpiece!
Me too! Def a metal chick, but a friend showed me Halazia, and I fell in love! Now I'm addicted to their music and their videos are beyond amazing!

Seeing this live was absolutely insane. It is CHILLING when the break the wall chant happens. It is deafening in the most satisfying way.
Idk if you know, but Ateez actually has a rock version of Guerilla that you could also react to, it's pretty much the exact vocal recording over a more rock genre base track
Its insane to hear fans scream Break the wall. Its probably the loudest fan chant ive ever heard.
Their cb is 1st December. Can't wait.

I've been a metalhead for 35+ years, been to hundreds of concerts, ATEEZ Break the Wall tour is easily top 3 of all time. Easily! No question!

So I am going through this little mini-series of your introducing your friend to the music you love because I was curious (normally I am watching for BTS, Dimash, IU, the Rose) about other musical acts you respect. Wow! This song is addictive. I love the contrasts and dynamics with the low rap vs. high vocals. The lyrics have substance too, which I must have in my music.

Hi! Sorry, I’m 2 days late.
It’s based on George Orwell’s book, 1984! ATEEZ has a whole “storyline” or lore, if you will, that’s loosely based on the book. What happens when you let the government take control of every facet of life? This video, along with Halazia, is based within that world. The government has taken full control even including what emotions it’s citizens is allowed to feel.
Guerrilla is basically ATEEZ going into that world causing Guerrilla Warfare, playing music (which is banned) and dropping fliers to the people in hopes of causing a rebellion.
You need to check out their bside called Wake up from their latest album. They themself said that they made it keeping Guerrilla in mind.

you should check out their song wake up, while it doesn't have a mv it is also super intense with a bit of metalcore influence in the instrumental. their live performance of Dona Eis Requiem on mama 2020 is also insane!

I love Ateez! I will have to say if you want to deep dive you need to listen to some of their solo special clips, especially Jongho doing wildflower. Honestly the vocals on these boys are amazing.
