CELTIC MUSIC !
it's beautiful!!!!
Oh, btw, great work on the guitar and keyboards.
BTW it's beautiful, tight, duet playing. Really outstanding work. I just get my hackles up at the "competition is always good" mentality in artistic pursuits. It's destructive at times because, at times, the competition isn't about excellence but at packaging and presenting artistic product down to the audience's level of understanding, instead of asking the audience to open their minds and elevate themselves.
excellent....lovely playing francis as always lol
@draccanon i think it`s in d and g....
the uilleann pipes are basicly tuned in d and can be played also in g, so it`s the most likely scale!
Holy Shit Fuck! this is Amazin!!!
it is from youtube
Which is available to purchase and download on our website
Excelent video! Do you know the name of the first jig? the one they play just after the slow air
Thanks
Peter Byrne’s Fancy :)
Really great recording - bit of a shame that Francis McDuff's pipes seem to be lower down in the mix than John McSherry's - especially in the parts of the Air where they harmonise, but still a great performance and a nice choice of jigs.
Can you get this version of the song on itunes or amazon mp3?
what scale is this based on?

This is not a duel. This is a DUET. Big difference. They are not competing, they are cooperating. Why is it some people must make everything into a sport or a competition?
This is art, not sports, not business, not warfare. Try to understand the difference. If they were "dueling" it would sound like sh*t.
