- Here we make frequency distributions two ways: First using the COUNTIF function, and then using a Pivot Table. Link to the Excel Data File: drive.google.com/file/d/1s8t_...
I wish I had found this video last week when I was teaching myself the countif fxn. I had a large volume of data across multiple rows and columns. I was able to figure out how to use countif, but couldn't figure out how to isolate the range to keep the dataset consistent. I eventually just copied the formula and pasted it into each cell that I needed, then went back and changed the nuanced reference cell for each formula (probably close to 300 individual cells). This video would have probably saved at least 2 hours worth of work.
Also, thanks for the tip on the pivot table. Couldn't quite figure out how to arrange the data on my own and didn't know the value of the tool, nor wanted to dedicate the time to understanding it unless it was relevant to my needs. Definitely going to steal some of this information for my job and my stats class. THANKS!!
I just wanna say thank you, this just helped me complete my statistics homework that has been stressing me for days 😭♥️
Thank you so much!!! I love your videos and show them to my little cousin! :D

Добро пожаловать You're welcome!
Good ,Thank u so much
(For finding the factors in column ,use Pivote table,Other wise very difficult to type if it more than 10 factors ,Thankyou)
I love your videos... so easy to follow! Is there any way to compare price (numerical) to categorical variable in Excel?

@@BurkeyAcademy thank you! How do I create graphs (such as simple clustered column / bar chart) in Excel? I've attempted this for the past few hours but can't seem to get the price point to appear on the y axis (it keeps remaining as the legend). Thanks!
Sir, I find it very interesting and very valuable. kindly make the original data file in excel used in the video "Make Pie Graphs and Frequency Distributions in Excel: Categorical Data" available so that we can do understand it better. thank you
Good idea- I added a link in the video description.
@@BurkeyAcademy thank you sir very much I have got I will do practice.
