Of course, Ned signs a deal right after this is set to go live. We'll take the L on him not coming back, too! We'll go into detail tomorrow, my friends!
Good thing you were wrong. Would've been foolhardy not to resign him. Now trade Jarry and bring in a goalie with maturity & heart who will push Ned to grow even more.
Puljujärvi skated really well in the world champs. He might finally be fully recovered from his hip surgery. And there's also the three prospects that came back in the Guentzel trade. I think the Pens need to add at least one established bottom 6 player, but there are also pieces to build with that are already there.
Rierdan canned....Ned resigned...good start. Now, I want Laine so bad I can taste it. Envisioning him with Sid & Rusty. With EK out there with them they'd be so damn explosive.
Colton makes a lotta sense. Solid 1.91 career 5v5 P/P60. Good age and excellent contract at 4M x 3. Hope he'd accept a trade to the Burgh with that NTC.
Personally, I'd love to see Dubas go a little cutthroat with Toronto and offer sheet an RFA, or two...Nick Robertson, Timothy Liljgren, Noah Gregor...make it interesting.
I really like Colton's game. Fits exactly what the Pens need. I'm curious what you guys think about the rumors the 4th Period put out about the 4 teams that might have interest in Smith? If Kyle can move that contract would that possibly open up an opportunity for a guy like DuBrust? Great show as always guys
Not surprised that a good chunk of them are from the West. I think that conference suits his game a bit better. I’d be down for someone like DeBrusk but I also know some others aren’t as big on him as I am
If rumors are true. Maybe aves and pens could work out a deal with smith going to the aves for colton. Im sure dubas would have to sweeten deal with mid round pick or prospect.
A silly "silly season" thought...what would your thoughts be of trading POJ, to Ottawa (with his brother) for Erik Brannstrom? Both are RFAs, both are 24, POJ is an LD while Brannstrom is LD/RD and LW.
Avs are getting murdered by their decision to give term and money at age 30 to someone who played a high-contact, physical game (Landeskog)....This is why I did not want to make that same mistake with Jake.
With Vegas being tight on cap space, again, do you think that Dubas would contact them about their cap casualties? Maybe someone like Nick Roy, or Shea Theodore?
@@vipeholmskolan6052 Not in the faceoff circle. Of the five centers that took over 100 faceoffs, Malkin was the worst, and only one below 50%, at 48.6%

Maybe Jarry is on his way out???
@@larslan1975 can't blame them keeping a goalie that can go hot late into the season. I can barely recall what that was like.

I really see Jesse surprising people if he's healthy. Been an underachiever his entire career & so much talent.

Yup, same here. Perfect fit for this year and in future years. Can also contribute on the power play. Sign me up all day

What about trading for Cirelli? He’s reportedly also a available as well
Can’t blame Dubas…. The player didn’t perform and sullivan didn’t help at all..

I think Theodore will likely stay. I don’t see them parting with him. Roy is a more curious case. That could make some sense
Pens need a second line center..
That will be Geno for next year unless something happens
Don't be like that. Malkin lit up when he got Bunting by his side.
@@vipeholmskolan6052 I hope I’m wrong..
