Robin Walker on population replacement

When one looks at the ethnic makeup of Northern Africa today, it is easy to assume that these people are somehow related to the people who populated and built the ancient Kemetic/Egyptian civilization. However, deducing that the Arab ruling class that now dominates modern day Egypt, Tunisia and the northern African countries is to completely overlook how this population replacement took place and the extensive amount of time it took for this ethnic cleansing to take place. One only needs to look at the current state of Gaza or revisit the plight of the indigenous people of America to see a parallel. It’s strange because the modern Egyptians have a small amount of African ancestry that the Arabs have but many African Americans have ancestry that goes back to the pharaohs and Western African as well

It is important in these discussions that a full bibliography accompany the talk. For instance, when Dr. Walker said Vitruvius said the ancient Egyptians were equatorial, where would I find that quote? The importance of documentation is highlighted by the fact that so many people do spend a lot of time trying to disprove that ancient Kemet was a black civilization. It is not a conversation I want to engage with with hearsay.
