I've been watching your videos and I've found them really helpful. Thank you sooooo much. I'm gonna share your channel to all of my friends
So many great tips, love all the info on press release, I think this is one of the subjects that gets neglected sometimes by other music-marketing podcasts but it can play an important role in the release! Can’t wait to watch more of those you mentioned 😍
If it isn’t too much trouble!!! Could you maybe make a list of like. The top things to acquire during this stage. I.e, some professional photos, a social media page related to your project, a press release write up, etc... the most important pinpoints. Thanks for the video
We usually wear a certain outfit for our Gigs and Vids. Is it mandatory to wear that on all images we make? Or would it be a good idea to have pictures in „our normal clothes“ as well. Keep up the work, love your vids!
Really good and Informative video. Helps a lot and given me a lot of guidance, have a lot of musical friends but the ones that are signed all were approached at sets or functions.
Thanks for the info. My head exploded recently with all the stuff besides writing music that is required. Your video really helped to make it more relatable to an old man like me getting ready to release his first ever song. Fingers crossed. Cheers!

Great video guys! Just a question.. I'm going to be releasing an album in 2022, and wanted to know what the recommended promotion time is before releasing and then promoting after release? I know you said in the vid 4 weeks at least for a single. But is it the same for an album?
I think any great beat n producer can make an average artist sound good, your artwork expresses the human behind the machine. I'm not the best but my art is always a vibe
Quality content guys! i watched almost all your vids! but i have a request, im starting as a new artist, how should i release my first single? should i have previous post in instgram for example? gain some follower without music? that would be awesome! cheeers
We'd suggest releasing a track, just any track, and this will claim your profile on Spotify and Apple Music, then it will make things a lot easier to submit to the curators. You can gain followers without music, it depends on the content you can create, if you can create content that people want to follow daily then that's definitely the best route. A lot of artists expect because their music is good that people will want to follow them on social media which really isn't the case.
Thanks guys love this! Question - you mentioned that you made a video for things to do 'On Release Day' - I looked for it, but not sure if i found it? - is it this one 6 THINGS TO DO BEFORE RELEASING YOUR MUSIC? thanks again!
Oh my god is it possible to run ad against certain people? I thought i can only like collect what my target group is like more general, but can i also look, as mentioned in this video, for followers of a similiar artist and then run the ad against them?
You guys are amazing! I’m following!! Quick question: do you suggest releasing tracks one at the time or a whole (first) album all at once? Thanks for your amazing videos

So far I have spent $130 and received x1 playlist submission. Now It is a good playlist and I am grateful, but the biggest issue that I have is: While I take time to study each curater, to make sure that my track matches their wants, I still get the generic responses like: "The track is great, great vocals and such however, your track is not what we are looking for." Or it doesn't fit our playlist. To me this seem as if the curater is writing just enough to get paid per the rules, but then resorts the the tired old: It doesn't match our wants and such. This is lame as I carefuly pick each curator to adhere to what they are accepting (genre and wants). Something fishy going on there. Will I continue to use Groover? No I will not. Cheers from Australia.
Thanks Burstimo, this is great! Do you know if it helps your chances for a Spotify 'New Music Friday' placement if you set your release date on a friday? Or do they put just as many other day of the week releases in that playlist? Thanks!
