Stream sniping is also not against the rules. I'm not saying you should do it I'm just saying BHVR wouldn't do anything about that report any more than they would a report over camping and tunneling.
@@Zakon673 BHVR won't, but Twitch would. Interacting with someone else's stream with hostile intentions while you, yourself, are live is a HUGE no-no. It's very clearly written in their ToS.

Yeh when gens get popped quickly gotta up the game. Some Survivors dont understand it can go 1 to 100 fast.

i think its pretty interesting that most survivors dont realize that unhooking is an action that causes guards to stop a chase. its not a great tool to camp with, its just the mindgame of it

Same deal with me, my friends are survivor mains and get upset when we gen rush and a killer starts camping or tunneling. I think it’s fair we put a lot of pressure as survivor’s and the killer wants to regain pressure, people need to chill out a bit more while playing this GAME
True that. Sometimes u can outsmart survivors or killers. It's fun to have fun an play smart, then easily complain about it.
Yeah. Even if they just start off by tunneling and camping, at least the game will probably be quick. People run DS, END, and BT then complain about 4 meta perks on the killer's side. If you gen rush you should expect to be camped.
It can be fun to just go for hook states as billy or lego but kills are how you "win", so I don't get why people gotta get so salty about losing. People forget what it's like when a non-stealth killer with no perks can still jump scare you. Just enjoy the game for what it is, don't try to force a meta on a game by being toxic
I don't understand that suriviors can do anything to try and win but it isn't seen as toxic or sweat as much as a killer equally doing the same stuff.

Will never understand how surprised survivors get when the killer change tactics to get pressure because they are slamming out gens and doing good in chases. We're just supposed to give up and stop playing the second they get a lead.
Survivors be like: "Yeah, we're both the exact same survivor and we're wearing the exact same skins, so there's no way for the killer to tell us apart, but if you go after one of us, we'll still complain about tunneling even though you had no way of knowing you were tunneling."

had a match of 4 identical chars (note they were good sports about it) and i ended up tunneling one of them out because i couldn´t tell the difference. they just said "we all have different trousers" mate you expect me to look at your freaking pants in a chase?
To add onto these stories, I also ran into a group of identical survivors. Their advice to me was that I should have been paying attention to the hud to see which one was getting injured when I hit them like bruh I'm not fucking doing all that if it's in front of me it's getting hit 💀

There is no such thing as gen rushing. If the killer isn't putting out enough map pressure, thats on him. The gens will get done.

I tell all my friends who have the mindset of the survivors not to act like that and I always tell them that you have changed my perspective on playing killer. It's hard to catch up for killer sometimes playing the "traditional" way & it is a playstyle nonetheless.
excatly going against a camping killer is no fun but its not illegal, just counterplay. It sometimes makes the game more interesting because you have to try more to get a save and higher stakes
@@nxtx_xx1739 Yeah but if you just leave that person on hook, his very first one, they easily could've done the 2 gens remaining. Spooks would've lost with 3 escapes and gotten a single hook action, getting no points all game. Camping is easy to counter on most Killers, survivors choose not to.

This reminds me of a match i had as The Knight, got two hooks that were near by and patrolled the area, using the guards because i felt someone was near by. The last survivor escaped when i closed the hatch and called me for camping and i wasn't supposed to use the Knight like that, like bruh, if i had two hooks near by obviously people would secure the two kills and wasn't even like two days since the Knight released, i couldn't care less how i played in that situation but the guy became so entitled praising himself for being such a good player.
I mean, technically you aren't because the minions actually don't guard or stop unhooks, when survivors go for the unhook they disappear lol.
Still scares off most people tho lol. I feel like I'm the only survivor that actually calls the bluff when this happens tbh.

@@K3vin_L He was more like bragging about how he was good at the game and shit talking about me being somewhat close to the hooks, it's not my fault the game RNG put two hooks close to each other let alone people going for the save in that scenario is so hard (it has happened as a survivor too, so there's not much one can do unless a miracle happens). And as i said previously this was one of my first games with the Knight, people are still figuring out how to play him, so really no matter what i said, he was still heated despite escaping.
@@brad1426 Yeah, the guards just don't seem to be a good option to camp, its mostly to scare people off the hook for those who don't know how it works, but im sure as the days passes they would already be aware of his power flaws.

Isn't this comment just hypocritical? Players should both be able to do what they want, the issue is BHVR suck at balancing so theres playstyles that completely remove interaction on both sides making the game extremely boring

Honestly, i really enjoy The Knight and his power (when it works). The Guards make survivors think that it's unsafe to hook, when its actually GOOD to let the guard see you because the Unhook nulls the Hunt from starting. So in reality the Survivors are outplaying themselves while i go and make sure the other gens are safe

I still get annoyed at Camping and Tunneling, but only when its done from the start of the game without actually being behind. I went against a knight the other day who was constantly tunneling people off hook from the first hook with 0 gens completed. That guy was a dick.
But I had a gunslinger later who got into the endgame and was camping his hook to try secure his 1k and although we managed to get the save, I have no problem with camping at that point because he clearly needed to do it to get the altruism plays
happened to me to. Back to back, I got hooked and camped to death at 5 gens by a Trapper and Huntress.
People get mad at me for camping when the gates are 99ed lol. They get mad if a killer is trying to win period. Or even trying to get a single kill!

If gates took 80 seconds and they had a base-kit pre-nerf ruin effect on them, I would maybe patrol them. Right now there is no incentive to do anything other than camping in the endgame.
it's mostly just infuriating against Bubbas, Billys, Huntresses, and Tricksters because at that point if they start tunneling literally at the beginning of the match you're in for a very boring M1 simulator of just doing gens. nobody has fun doing that shit

I just played the knight for 3 hours: I won all the game. Probably cause my mmr isn't high, but totally unexpected
The build was: nurse calling, discordiance, pain resounce, overcharge, range's add on and don't remember the other one.
Playstyle is easy: down one, drop a guard on gen they're rushing (discordiance), save it with pain resounce first and overcharge then
@@nunziosapio1225 My MMR could also be jacked up still, combined with my rusted skills on killer. I took like a three month hiatus, and came back to p97 Claudettes with pixel perfect dead hards and pallet hell maps. I got at most one kill every match except one, and I was playing an aggro Dredge build.
I've played two games with knight and they were both 4ks..maybe try my build.. merciless storm,call of brine, lethal pursuer and nowhere to hide.. i didn't need to camp or tunnel..i understand it takes time though
@@silentcalling me too man, everytime a killer comes out in dbd i play him 3 matches and leave the game for 3 months, wesker was the end of this cycle, now im just playing when i want to, not forcing myself to play, and a quick thing, there are a lot of strange DH that i've seem, i encountered 3 insta DH cheaters, they are actually pretty ez to see, if they are over a pallet or window, hit the pallet/window, the cheat will identify the hit as a danger and will use DH, simple

After thinking about ‘face camping’ for a bit, I’ve kinda thought about how it’s a great opportunity for the other survivors to go finish gens to escape. The only time it really upsets the survivors that aren’t hooked, is when they try to go for the hooked survivor, when they could cut their losses and focus on escape

main issue is if you want to pip up you need altruism points or usually you depip while escaping. i play both sides equally though so the salt is funny
I really do love that while they're being salty, you're doing fun voice impressions and goofing around even though ordinarily people would expect you to be the salty crybaby as you're having a rough match in this situation.
I'm a survivor main and I love it when the killer has a massive come back during late game (1-2 gens left) no matter how they got there! Tunneling and Camping at that stage is fine with me as you gotta do something xD I also think that if you're a survivor and on death hook, run with a survivor and leave as soon as you hear terror radius getting a bit too close. As for tunneling off hook, I just basically run to my team on gens to maybe take hits and agro but not always the case, so I just run as long as i can so maybe they can survive ! Great Game Spooks

Even if I am a survivor main who hates camping and tunneling. You camped because all 3 of them were there as well. It would be a different kind of play if you just sat there while they were all on gens. the tunnel too is due to them being stupid and not really doing much to escape you. They also were running prove thyself on 2 different people, and kept going for the saves right in front of you. They were asking for half of what you gave them at least
3 gens done before 1st down, as a survivor I'd expect a tunnel to secure a kill and put on the pressure needed. Because of your tunnel they were more preoccupied trying to keep that person alive and wasn't doing any gens. It's a smart strategy never change ❤️
I had a match as knight yesterday. I was in a pinch but then I started to change my tactics an won. I was called unintelligent, to blind to see bp offerings an is like all killers to get 4k's to win. I just wanted to get adept knight so I can meme with him. But guess surviours just want the killer to be in the corner of shame an to let surviours escape freely.

Its almost like ppl like this show blatant hypocrisy towards objectives in general..prioritizing theirs and bringing perks with playstyles to get it done quick and efficiently...but the killer isn't allowed to do the same...not to mention they now have FULL basekit bt which is essentially a 5th perk and survivors like this still feel entitled enough to dictate how a killer should play...tunneling and camping is apart of the game...and just like the horror movie simulation it is...a survivor strat is to know when to sacrifice a lost cause

The way I think about it is: you bought the game, you're entitled to play it however you want. Whether other people like your play style or not is beside the point. DBD is a competitive 4V1 game, and as with all competitions; you win some, you lose some. If you want to be a insidious basement bubba or a friendly farming ghostie is entirely up to each individual killer, just like being a toxic nea or boop-the-snoot dwight is up to each individual survivor. Play the game however you want, you are in charge of your own happiness, not everyone else's.
"Prove thyself is the best perk, can´t say otherwise" yeah, but don´t be surprised if overusage of that will force killer into camping and tunneling your ass off XD They called it on themselves.

However, unless you want to drop literally every chase just to get Prove thyself gamers off gens for a few seconds and thus get no hooks anyway, it is not something that will help you more outside of "ok I know they are there but I cant do shit about it anyway atm"

What I love about a lot of Survivor mains is you can't win with them. They will think you're trash no matter what happens.
Lose or win. A lot of them still act toxic just in different ways. If they win then they will call you trash, spam "GG Ez" and tell you to uninstall and stuff like that but if you beat them then they get angry and still call you trash and make up excuses as to why you won because its never their fault. They never make mistakes in the game. They think they are all perfect.

I mean, as survivor, I operate on the assumption that if I try to rush, the killer will send it my way, and I deserve that.
(Context: If I rush, I expect to be tunneled/camped and I don't mind)

As killer play the way that is more fun for you. Anything is ok including camping and tunneling. If you are playing "fair" and are getting destroyed go ahead sweat for the win. If you are destroying the survivors and have 2 kills with 5 gens maybe play more "fair" for the rest of the match, but sometimes it is better to sweat so that the other players can just get out of the match faster.

I'm a survivor and killer player. And I see each side but most of the abuse I see coming form this game form survivors and rarely killers

Of course they don't know it isn't possible to camp a hook with a guard. (It's not, unhooking instantly deletes the guard)
And of course they think that PTS is the best perk in the game. They don't realize that it only saves like 6 seconds, whereas resilience saves 7.4 seconds and hyperfocus can save 40 seconds on a solo gen.
Survivor IQ.
There is a big diference between face camping at 1-3 gens whit just one hook, and camping someone from the start of the match, the second one is just lame tunneling, but the first one is just someone trying to not be stomped ending on a 0/4

Here are my thoughts on how the night can be fixed
- Remove the detection radius outlines of the guards from the survs pov
- Include and option to quickly sumon a stationary guard, that way we can left to guard a loop without having to do the entire animation
- Make so it isn't a bitch to use the power sometimes (im refering to the moments where the option to sumon the guards is there but the game wouldn't allow it)
- Make it so the knight can sumon the guards without having to stop before doing it
- Reduce the space needed between the knight and an object to summon a guard
- Make it so when a guard detects a surv, he goes to the surv's actual position, not the place where the surv was detected (lets say the guard was outside killer's shack, the surv was right in the center of it, then the guard detects him and the surv starts running to the psition of the pallet in the shack, make it so the guard starts floating to the surv's actual position near the pallet and not to the center of the shack)
I think that's all, if you have something else to ad or disagree in any point let me know
When placing the ghosts/guards.. You need to remember that they can float to the location of a area that the survivor did a fast action or failed a healing check. ( It might be JUST the fast action. IE vaulting a pallet or window while running. ) This does not seem to work with missed skill checks on gens for what ever reason though. But its still a good idea to place a guard down near a area you know they have to vault since most survivors do not try to do slow vaults.

they popped 3 gens immediately without a single hook. do you want him to play normally for another 2 gens and get 12 hooks between those 2 gens? realistically not possible
When I started playing DBD, I strictly played survivor and would get so angry when the killers would camp and tunnel. But then I started playing killer and I understood why. So now I just move on to next match if it happens and sometimes I do camp and tunnel if I need to.

I've recently started playing again mainly for the fact they were giving out ridiculous amounts of bloodpoints for Christmas new year etc. I've mainly been just focusing on the dailies or some of the rift challenges like breaking doors or hitting people X amount of times with X or have X perk and do X thing. As their a bit easier to do alongside the daily's and I get a lot of BP to upgrade all my killers to P1.
And I had a game the other night where I wasn't going for hooks I just wanted them to drop pallets and so I could break them. This team decided it would be a great idea against Michael to try and bully. Even though I was literally just breaking chase to break pallets.
I wasn't even using gen regression perks, or any actual perks that would help me.
Franklin's, lightborn, the one that lets you see where all the pallets are, and mad grit because I just didn't like the look of 3 perks - looked weird and kept putting me off so I put a perk I had no intention of using on.
However I had EW boost perks because I had a daily that required me to level up my EW X amount of times. So I got it really fast.
Did you know that when a survivor tries to unhook another it'll make their aura white again and you can get EW off them again even if they were previously completely done?
Neither did I. Neither did they.
We both learnt that when I had had enough and decided to just hook someone. Got every last one of them.
For some reason they were extremely upset about it. 🤷

I’m a survivor main and yes camping and tunneling sucks but I also understand there’s not much you can do if there are few gene left but it really sucks when killers do it at the start of a match for no reason

When I'm playing as a survivor, I don't care what tactics the killer uses. My only issue with tunneling is when the killer does it at an extremely early point and where the first survivor is out near the beginning of the match, besides that I don't care if the killer tunnels, camps, or uses whatever method they find best to win.
What did they do wrong? Are people not allowed to vent and talk sh*t? They were pretty tame compared to other people you've done videos on - in fact they're not even in the same ballpark. I love your videos, man, you call out some really bad behavior but this wasn't it.

as a survivor main I'm not very much a fan of camping, tunneling etc. but I will accept it as it is a way for killers to play and I'm not gonna cry about it in messages like some people just frantically run to immediately after the game to do so and i think this is the mentality every should adapt to at some point
Had a game recently playing as Wraith against a sabo squad. They’d sabo every hook i would go to when carrying a survivor so i just slugged them and stood on top of their body till the hook came back. Can’t say it was good feeling victory but sometimes when you face people doing hard to counter tactics you gotta respond the same.

I've been gen rush and yes, it sucks but when you are re-learning a Killer you normally used before it is not easy to pick up again. So, i always tell myself "you are re-learning your Killer and do not be mad if you lose or be trolled because it is bound to happen more often at this point."

I don't approve of camping or tunneling but mad love for the Luna guitar in the back. I own 3 Luna's (6 six acoustic, 4 string bass acoustic & electric Les Paul style )

First few games I had as the knight I did think "this killer is very heavy on camping and tunneling" and one game I was like "okay I trade, you unhook and my guard downs you its a win win for me" ... yeah imagine my despair when I saw the survivor unhook and my guard just let it happen.
